I ordered to go and it was not a very long wait. I got the original Sneaky Pete. I took off the kraut and onions. It was on the smaller side but that could also be because I took off toppings. The service was neither good nor bad. It did not stand out but they did there job. I'm not a huge fan of hot dogs but I do think it's a nice plain one. I'm not a picky eater but I have just never been a huge fan of the toppings they put on hotdogs. Next time, I think I'll braver and give the chili cheese dog a try! I would definitely recommend this place if you re a fan of hot dogs as they have so much to choose from! UAB gives these out a lot at the beginning of the semester. A Sneaky Pete's food truck was in Ross Bridge today. It was absolutely a godsend because I really was not feeling the idea of cooking dinner tonight because I have some grad school work to do. Anyhow, I was completely sold on Sneaky Pete's when I saw that they sold the illustrious slaw dogs that I love! If you've never had coleslaw on a hotdog topped with mustard, you have missed out on a treat! They also had other items so I ended up getting a side of chili cheese fries. Everything tasted great and the prices are super affordable. The next time they stop by Ross Bridge, I'll probably pick up another slaw dog or two. read more

What to say about Sneaky Pete's but they have really good hot dogs at a decent price. I will say this location does need to work on the ceiling as it could use a good scrubbing. Other than that, the staff are really friendly and accommodating. When I came in to place a to go order, as like most days I do not have much time for lunch due to conference calls. The place was a little crowded as all but one table was full. Took about 6 minutes from order to walking out the door. So if you are looking for a quick decent meal in the area I would say this his is your place. Now the size of the large drink is 44 ounces and a handful if you carry more than one item. I can only comment on the Pete's slaw dog, and it is a bit better than other places in the area. Worth a stop. read more

Stopped by for a quick hot dog. We are visiting for the weekend. Got 2 hotdogs, chips and a drink. Food was ok. Not bad. Not great. The temperature of the hot dog was nice and hot. I wish I could give it 3.5 because the cashier was very helpful and very nice. We have never been before and needed help ordering. I wouldn't give it a 4 because for 2 regular sized hot dogs it is a little over priced ($9). read more

I decided to try Sneaky Pete's for dinner tonight around 5:30pm. I had the the original sneaky Pete hot dog and it tasted pretty good! The service was outstanding and I felt like it was a very welcoming environment. There were pictures of employees/customers/families posted on the wall and fun advertisements around the restaurant. I did also get fries, a drink, and an apple pie. My food was served in a timely manner and it was fresh. There were no covid - 19 protocols in place, as many of the restrictions have been lifted. One of Birmingham's staples that I wish was nationwide. I often come to this location on my lunch break and never have any issues. Staff is always friendly. Lunchtime however can be a bit crowded and seating can be limited. Been coming to sneakys since I was a little boy. A few things have changed over the years some new items and such but I always opt for the good ole hot dog. Price is reasonable also. read more

It's hard to go wrong at Sneaky Pete's! I'm not a huge fan of the Sneak Pete's sauce (kind of a tangy, bbq sauce) so I usually order their chili dogs (their chili does not have beans), but their onion rings are my absolute favorite! Always perfectly crispy and golden brown. The rings are served with a side of sauce (I'm not really sure what the sauce is, but it's almost like a mix of ranch and Zaxby's sauce...really, really good). Sneaky Pete's has some of the best hot dogs I have ever tasted! I had a bad experience this time, but usually it is always a great experience. The lady who took my order was very rude and condescending towards me, placed my order incorrectly, and gave me the wrong order from what she put in. It took going back to the counter 3 times to get the correct order. This is not normal Sneaky Pete's behavior, just one careless employee. Their hot dogs are usually cooked to perfection, the sauce is amazing, and they have plenty of menu offerings to choose from. The cleanliness of this location was decent, but could definitely be improved. COVID19 safety precautions were mostly ignored and social distancing rules were not enforced. I ended up with the junkyard dog and an original dog both with extra onions and Kese had a fully loaded dog and I'm glad I paid attention bcus she ordered that for me too and no ma'am that's too much on a hot dog. I don't even know where to start about this place. I decided to try this place out for lunch. It was super busy!! Usually when a place is busy the customer service is lacking...not this place! The cashier and servers were awesome. The wait time was a little long but it didn't matter once I tasted the food... I ordered the junkyard dog and onion rings.
