Had an early dinner when they opened at 4. Spent the afternoon at the Lodge pool ($10/person), got dried off and dressed. There were four of us, 3 adults and a child. We had hamburgers, a steak wrap and children's strips. $5 mojitos were good, not overly sweet and well balanced flavors. Would get again Hamburger is the way to go. Would get them again. Stayed at the lodge for a night to go striper fishing with a group of seven adults. The royal red shrimp, burger and trifecta app were phenomenal. The real star of the night was Angie! She made the group feel welcome and gave us all advice on food and drink choices. We had such a good time we came back for lunch and drinks after the fishing trip. We will be back! read more

Found this intriguing restaurant while planing a trip for 4 adults to Lake Texoma yesterday. Looked inviting on arrival and we received a friendly reception when we entered and quickly seated in a near empty dining room. Overall, our food was very good, service was good (BUT, the 45 minute wait for 2 cooks to prepare food because of a "busy bar crowd" after 1 PM was a disappointment!). Caution, Island Burger's pineapple slices shoot out when biting into burger. Happily replaced by more grilled pineapple slices! House made BBQ sauce was nicely spicy too. read more

Where to begin?! This place is so cute! Polynesian tiki themed. But the food was so delicious! The Crack burger AKA the Island burger was so good I've been craving it since! Wasn't sure how all the flavors would come together but OMG it was awesome! My daughter had the mushroom Swiss burger and said hers was just as good! Had tried this place over the years and was never impressed but decided to try it again tonight. The food was amazing the service was great. I loved the fresh salad bar, freshly baked bread. The best $29 steak I've ever had. they were advertising this tiki red shrimp that said it tasted like lobster so I went back before they closed and bought a pound for the football game and oh my God! It literally tastes like lobster! Amazing! Two thumbs up! Manager helps wait on tables and bartends some of the time. We waited over 25 minutes before even getting our drink order taken I did get her (managers) attention about 10-15 minutes waiting and her response was they were short handed and took another 15 minutes to get our drinks after the 25 minute wait to get our drink order taken. When the drink order got to the table we were ready to order the waiter said give me a minute I'll be right back and it took another 10-15 minutes for him to come back. My buddy and I went here on a Friday evening. The patio and bar area was packed. We set outside by the pool. We both ordered their onsite craft pale ale and it was delicious. It was also underpriced in my opinion for the value. We did not try the blueberry wheat beer they had but will next time. We ordered chips and salsa just because most bars screw that up and I was just curious. I was impressed. It wasn't your average "go to Walmart and get chips and salsa for the people." It was actually Mexican style restaurant chips with seasoning and two containers of quality and tasty salsa. We both ordered the Volcano burger and I got onions rings and my buddy got the salad bar. We both thought the burgers were really good and my onion rings were not oily at all which I appreciated. The overall vibe of the place is perfect for being so close to the water. Stopped by today after our idea to drive around the lake ended in a rainout. Honestly, I paused when we entered the place, because I thought that it was a walk up, fast food counter. But, let's follow the Yelp reviews and see what happens. Nachos and salsa, both homemade and nachos sprinkled with some kind of seasoning that was addictive. Went with the western burger for the first time in over 5 years. Why? Other places completely bathe the burger in barbecue sauce and you lose the taste of the meat. Well, not at Tiki - it was excellent and the freshness of the meat truly came through. Unfortunately, they ran out of their homebrew blueberry beer, but we did get half a glass on the house and it certainly left us wanting more. Were down striper fishing so was looking for a fun place to just have a drink.. Walked in went to the tiki bar part.. bartender wouldn't even make eye contact so we walked up to the bar to ask if we could sit out on the patio... with out even looking at us she SNAPPED WITH AN ATTITUDE, " your server will be with you in a min" so the 4 of us sat at a table waiting for a server.. 10 min later still no server, well 2 walked by us just never said a word to us. So finally the bartender walks up to our table and is about to put down coasters, my husband asked her if we would be able to sit outside.. She simply took the coasters back, then walked off behind the bar... Never took our drink order not another word to us and definitely no eye contact. We waiting about 4 more min for someone to take our drink order, no one ever came back to the table. So we got up and left.. Will NOT EVER go back and will be leaving reviews on all platforms... Absolutely so disappointing and so rude, in the bar area. We didn't sit in the restaurant area, although the hostess did greet us when we 1st walked it, it was the Tiki area no one cared to even let us know they would be waiting on us... there were about 6 what looked to be regulars at the bar and maybe 3 out side and 2 at the tables behind us.. I am in Durant for business and brought my husband along because this week-end is our wedding anniversary. We went to Sneaky Tiki because I was in the mood for prime rib. We loved the restaurant. Karrina was attentive and took care of our needs before we even knew we needed something. The prime rib was delicious and my husband loved his rib-eye. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant (probably because it is the off-season and an OU game had just started) but the atmosphere was fantastic. My husband loved the music and kept raving to me about how he couldn't pick a better playlist if he was in charge of song selection. Overall, the food and experience were fantastic. I don't know if I'll ever be back in Durant, but if I am we will return to the Sneaky Tiki. read more

I'm going to give them three stars for several reasons. #1 when my husband and I arrived we wanted to sit in the small bar room BUT immediately upon walking in there was a very strong "odor" . I then go to the bathroom and am immediately over taken by a heavy thick scent! I go back to the bar room and ask the sweet waitress about the smell..... she first states she thinks they had just sprayed a room deodorizer... so I am thinking okay it will dissipate in a few minutes and I'll be okay! She soon returns to notify me that it is actually an air wick type of room deodorizer that is plugged in to an outlet with a fan! I state that I suffer from migraines and it will make me very sick, in fact I am already feeling very nauseous at this time. My husband and I decide to move to the main restaurant area to have our dinner which did not have any type of scent! ***Public service announcement*** There are many, many people who suffer from migraines or other illnesses that cause them to be very sensitive to scents, candles, room deodorizers, etc!!!! NO public establishment should be using strong scent items during business hours!!! It's just not a good practice ! I know someone that would have ended up in the hospital just from that! They never offered to turn it off or unplug it until we left etc! #2 my mushroom Swiss burger was not good at all. The angus beef was not seasoned at all, very bland! The bun tastes very sweet, which I did not care for. #3 The water tasted like lake water! So I got a Diet Coke and it was just okay. They need to get a water filter system! #4 The atmosphere is cool, I love the tiki vibe! I'm sure when the weather is warm this is a very cool place to hang out! Awesome experience! First time down to Texoma and this will now be a definite stop every time I come down. I had the western burger and it was fantastic. Others in our group ordered the mushroom & swiss and the volcano burger and loved it. Atmosphere is great too! A campy, fun restaurant with island interest! The hamburgers are so big they come with a knife! It was prepared to perfection! The shrimp is Cajun peel and eat...and was really well prepared. The menu was well-rounded, and included something for even the pickiest eater. The bar is separate and a local hangout. AWFUL service. I haven't ever rated one star, but if I could give my experience today 0 stars, I would. We called earlier in the day and checked the website to ensure they would be open for dinner since it was a holiday weekend. Both sources indicated that they would be open until 8PM. Even the hours on the door stated they were open until 8. When we walked in around 5:30 they had one table seated inside and maybe one table seated outside. The hostess told us that they were closed for the night. We informed her that we checked the website and called before driving out of town with a large party, and she said she would go check with the manager. She also stated that the table inside had not even ordered yet. 10 minutes later another waitress appeared (at this point, there was another party waiting to hear what the decision would be) and she stated that the kitchen was closed. She said they weren't even normally open on Sundays, although the door stated otherwise and they had a board titled "Sunday Specials." When I brought up that we had called, she said that she could try to go get the manager but she was really backed up at the bar. When I asked if she meant they were backed up from one table, she sort of just said there. She told the party behind us they didn't have enough business to stay open, however they had 3 additional parties come in after us that they also turned away. Another party told us that they had called earlier in the day and they were also told the restaurant would be open until 8. It seemed like to me that the employees were more interested in leaving early than making money or serving customers. Since this was my family's first visit, I doubt we will be back. A HUGE disappointment! read more
