Gluten free friends, RUN, don't walk to On Rotation!!!! I got the gluten free fried chicken and it was kind of burnt and disappointing for someone who hasn't had fried chicken in years. However, my husband got the GF fish & chips!!! The fish and chips were so good, I'll make sure to get that next time! Service is great, you can order at the table with a QR code and it gets delivered, or at the bar. We stayed outside because we brought our dogs, but the inside was so cute! Initially, I was a bit thrown off by their "order at the counter" service even though I was sitting at the bar. However, they have a host of beers to try and every single one I tried was very good so my experience went up from there. I especially liked their mimosa style beer with fresh OJ. I've tried similar beers at other breweries but On Rotation's is the best I've tried. That will be a Sunday Brunchday staple for me. I was also impressed with their wide selection of beers from other breweries. Definitely something for everyone on that list! As far as the menu goes, I love a good burger & craft beer selection. So, I was disappointed that they seem to be more of a chicken heavy establishment with a slim burger selection. Though their selection is small, the burger I ordered was solid. I would definitely order it again. As I was leaving, I did see that their patio is dog friendly so I'm looking forward to trying it out next visit. The atmosphere and ambience is really neat. It seems like a place that is fun and is the place to be on the weekend. The service was great and helpful on what to order. The food came out pretty quickly however there wasn't many people on a Sunday night. The food was good and the portions were great. This place is close to love field airport. You can sit inside or outside, they even have a window seating. Jason was amazing! I'm glad we got there when it wasn't busy, he explained everything and answered all our questions. The fries pickles .....every where we go are always almost too salty. My brisket wrap was ok if you don't like onions you might want to tell them to hold them, they were strong. Honestly I didn't think I would like anything here. I call myself a BBD no silly a bougie beer drinker! On the wall they have all the beers listed in an order that will tell you the notes of the beer like sweet or sour, bitter, bocks etc. So with all that said, I picked according to my taste buds. When the drinks came out, I was shocked, they all were the color beer I like. First sip #8. I think this was the milk tea something. I'm in no way trying to hate or diminish this place but when I explained I had celiac they were saying they understood but didn't provide any further explanation besides most of the menu is gf and they are careful with cross contamination, as someone with this disease there should be other precautions mentioned because we can never trust any place with saying they're "gluten free" and saying they understand cross contamination without explaining exactly how they avoid it. Also as someone who was recently diagnosed within the past 5 years their fried chicken tasted nowhere near what a traditional fried chicken tastes like. Like I said I'm not trying to hate on the business, staff was very friendly but the batter is too thick to compare to a non gf batter and I don't think it's a place for someone who is more recently diagnosed as it will not taste anywhere near the same as fried chicken with flour. Food used to be better. Not sure what happened but chicken very often overdone and inconsistent flavors on full many items.. Guys at register are not too helpful and get things wrong so check your order.! Also not sure why one sauce is included with wings , but if you pay $25 for a half bird, they charge you $1 for a tiny container of ranch. Just principle here. Mgmt - ask chef to taste the food often and try to figure out how to fry half bird without the breast being dry and overcooked. Guys at register said all pieces of chicken had to be cooked the same length of time. Any cook would tell you thighs and breast are done at different temps. Fish snd chips are great for lunch. I like the Amber ale very tasty and the staff is friendly--Unlike the previous review I saw; the fried pickles are really good along with the Thai fried chicken sandwich but the French fries were a little bit mushy so I'd recommend the fried pickles first and I'd like to try their Thai beer, but they didn't have it on tap; overall good place near the airport. read more

I could not have been more excited to finally make it to On Rotation brewery and kitchen in Dallas. It was well worth the trip! My favorite thing was the fried pickles. Next was the fried chicken strips, different than the other chicken. Then it would be the fish. Actually all three of those may be equal in the number one spot. Nothing was bad! Love love love. One of our go-to spots for brunch is On Rotation. Their beer selection can't be beat! I really enjoying trying the different kinds they have and they rotate them out pretty frequently. The food there is also pretty good. I did the jumbo tenders and they weren't kidding they were huge! The staff was super attentive and made sure to check in on us, even though it's not your traditional sit down and order type restaurant. Finally, the theme of the restaurant is airport/aviation themed and it's a lot of fun! The Braniff posters in the restroom give it an extra touch of retro. read more

Our first foray into this establishment and we were not disappointed. Upon first sight, the place has a real feel good vibe with the signage and the outdoor patio area. We were kindly greeted once we walked into the door. A group was ordering ahead of us and another employee quickly opened another register and helped us out. I opted for the fish and chips while the wife had the avocado salad with chicken. I couldn't resist having the Jalapeño saison which was all that it was made out to be. A farmhouse ale with a hint of spice. Delicious. Our food was very promptly served and was so so good. My fish was nicely fried while the shoestring fries were plentiful. I've come here several times, and it's always an enjoyable experience! I really like the southwest airlines theme and being able to see the planes from the patio :) Their food is really good, I was surprised with how good it was. There are vegan and gluten free options! My dad is a big beer guy so he likes to come and order flights on their new stuff. He seems to be pleased with their large selection! My sister and I are not big drinkers, so we enjoy the non alcoholic options they have. They do have some lighter cocktails on the menu as well. Decided to try this just driving by. And glad we did. Pulled up right before opening and noticed they were doing puppy yoga super cute. Wish I would have known to join the class. We brought our actual dog with us looking for a place that allowed dogs. and they do allow dogs outside only. The gentlemen at the take order counter wasn't very nice and shouted for me to step outside with our 8 LB baby. Maybe a sign that reads dogs must stay outside. Thankfully they do have wait staff that come around outside and they are super nice, And accommodating unlike inside. She brought us a water bowl for our baby. We saw in the shade in a cozy couch and nice breeze and umbrellas. We ordered a chicken sandwich and biscuits and gravy with eggs fantastic the sweet potato fries are fantastic. Very little communication by servers. We didn't have any water refills the whole time. Food was ok.

Great drinks and food! However what sold it for me was all the dips and sauces that come with the food. The chicken tenders came with a peach honey mustard . One of my favorites was the crispy cauliflower with the chili mayo dip! The biscuits were dry but the peach jam made up for it. A lot of the items are gluten free except for the pretzel and the chipotle shrimp wrap. Overall great place and good vibes! read more

We landed at Dallas Love and had a 2 hour drive to our Airbnb. So this place looked decent and it was close. We hit it for lunch. The inside was cool with a nice vibe. There were all kinds of games and things to do on the patio. The German Pilsner was good. I got the grilled chicken strips. It was two small pieces of chicken breast grilled and some fries. The flavor was good, but it had quite a bit of connective tissue in it. The BBQ sauce was good the spicy salsa dipping sauce wasn't great. My son said the wings were Okay. Server was helpful and let us taste a few of the beers. It was adequate and convenient. read more

ORB has been an incredible place since day one!  The location is a little different, as it sits back from Lemmon Ave by Love Field. So it's a little hard to spot the first time you visit. You have to be looking for it, for sure. But it's next door to Callaway's Nursery.  On the walk-up, they have a large patio area filled with patio furniture, picnic tables, and umbrellas for shade. However, in the late afternoon and evenings, there's plenty of shade as the building blocks the sun. The interior space is bright and open. There are a couple of seating areas, one little cozy neck with a bench and pillows, another area of multiple tables, big windows looking out into the patio area, and then just open space in front of the bar. Your first order is placed at the counter, and they will give you a table stand with an airport code and the name of an airport on it so the wait staff can find you. Once you are seated, you can place an order using your airport code by QR code, and they will bring your order to you. Also, the wait staff comes by the tables and checks on your table, and you can order from them, too.  The service is great, they are some of the friendly people I've met. I've been coming here since they opened as I work in the Love Field area; while not a regular, I come by at least once a month or so.  The selection of drinkables is significant but not overwhelming. There are a variety of styles to choose from, plus seasonals.  My biggest surprise here is the food menu. It's a chicken-based menu, but ORB does chicken so well. The guacamole is one of my favorites; it is so fresh. Here are my go-to's, but friends have had other items on the menu, and everyone has been delighted!  Garden Avocado Sandwich Guacamole spread, shaved cucumber, Roma tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, basil, and pickled onion with house vinaigrette are served on challah bread. Just Guacamole A bowl of house guacamole garnished with pico de gallo and cilantro. Loaded Fries The French fries are served with beer cheese queso, bacon, ranch, pico de gallo, green onions, chili mayo, and king ranch seasoning. And their Fried Chicken is simply damn good!  This is a great place to meet and hang out with friends or co-workers for a little downtime. It has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. I wish I lived closer so I could come and hang out more often. The only negative thing I can say about On Rotation is that I really wish it faced the runways at Love Field so I could watch the airplanes take off and land. Rude staff. Sarcastic. Don't go here. I arrived around 8:50. Walked ahead of the line to get a menu. My first time to eat here. Was really looking forward to the gluten free options. Got back in line. Made my way to the front. Only one person had been taking orders. Turned out to be a rude guy that made a sarcastic comment later.... We got to the register at exactly 9:04 to place the food order. The ones in line ahead of me placed their orders. When I got to the register they told me they are only serving beer. Kitchen closed at 9. I explained it was 9:04 and I had been in line at least 10 minutes. Then she said the kitchen actually closed at 8:45.....however orders were taken just before me... for food. The guy who had been taking the orders chimed in very loud that the line wasn't that long and we hadn't been waiting. We clearly had been waiting. They sent us away. Don't support them. They aren't even friendly when they make mistakes. Imagine if something were wrong with your food. read more

Bomb location & atmosphere! tried about four or 5 brews. They were pretty ok. The IPA was my favorite of the tries. Service was very good, I didn't have much time that day but I'll be back later in the year when they drop some new beers. Cool spot definitely worth a try for sure. read more

Absolutely loved my visit to On Rotation! Having celiac it can be hard to find a safe place to eat offering fried food. They have so many gluten free options it's amazing! I tried the okra and fried chicken. It was delicious! My family enjoyed many other menu items as well including some of the beers which they said were great! Lots of seating for larger groups which is nice. Wonderful customer service as well! read more

This was a great find. My parents live a couple miles away, so I was excited to try something new to us all nearby. We had beer including one flight of six. We focused mostly on the wheat beers and meads. All were awesome. Hard to pick a favorite. Food was a Thai chicken sandwich and fries (quite yummy), a fried chicken platter, and a wrap of some sort. Everyone enjoyed the food. The man at the bar who took the order and filled the drinks was patient and kind, realizing we were first timers and needed a couple minutes to pick drinks and such. The location is convenient, right along the east side of Love Field Airport in the old Braniff Airlines headquarters and hangar building. Pretty cool repurposing! Want to go back for more drinks and food soon. read more

We stopped in on a Sunday for brunch and to try the craft brews. Really cute space! There was a private party in a separate room and I immediately thought how great this place would be for a company event or birthday party. We stood in line for a bit to order food/beers. This is never fun for me! I am super impatient waiting in line and don't enjoy "order before you sit" style of restaurants. We perused the paper menus with brunch options while standing in line, but we didn't realize until we got to the front of the line we still had to check out the beer wall to decide what to drink. Once we got a look at the beer wall, we were overwhelmed by the number of options. The employees assisting us were super friendly and helpful and we both decided to order a flight of 3 beers each. They offer flights of three, four, five, or six tasters and you fill out a flight card ordering by number. We each chose a few craft beers, ciders, and hard seltzers to try and share. The pours were sizable, but after each of us tried all six options, we really couldn't pick a favorite. There were definitely some that after one sip were not palatable enough to taste again. I think my husband liked one beer enough to drink it with his sandwich and I felt marginally the same about one of the ciders. The food on the other hand was outstanding! The chicken is out of this world! My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich and I loved the chicken and biscuits with gravy! The portions were sizable and delicious! Will definitely return for brunch again and to sit on the patio. (It was too chilly the day we were there to sit outside.) But, might opt for a cocktail next time. Wink. read more

On Rotation is on the east side of Dallas Love Field (home base for Southwest Airlines). The place has a nice sized outdoor space, ample inside seating and enough bar seating to hold a nice sized group. Atmosphere is light and has a bit of that airport type of feel. The coolest part is you are given a ticket (see pix) to a destination when you sit down. This is for beer and food delivery, which I did not require (seated at the bar). They have a fairly large tap list and are a certified Untappd venue, so you can view their beer before going in. I had a flight of 6 beers, which I let the beertender pick for me. The Jalapeno Saison is the one that got them on the map. Personally not my favorite, but the light jalapeno gives a bit of a kick to the saison, so likely a great beer for the masses. Overall on the high side of medium for most of the beers. Of what I had, the Slice of Chocolate Stout and pecan bourbon brown (bourbon soaked pecans) were my favorites. I did not try the food, but talked to a regular at the bar who talked up what they had. It sure smelled good in there, so I might be sad I opted for Dickey's in the airport. Would I return? Yes, but next time I will try the food. read more

Came here last weekend and it may be my new favorite brewery! The beers are great I love that they have a variety of beers, sours, wines and ciders. I finally found a true smoothie sour in DFW! On Rotation is a hidden gym tucked away near Love Field airport. The breweries in DFW are stepping up their game. You're seeing larger locations with more activities, multiple taps, and a variety of food. On Rotation is no different. I tried out every spot from outdoor lawn chairs, to indoor retro video games, and even the bar. It's a clean, comfortable space with knowledgeable people at work. There's enough space for parties, happy hours, etc. My husband says that the All Systems Go is one of the best lagers around. It's worth a visit. read more
