Its almost a year later and I wanted to update that this is still one of the top purchases for my home I've ever made. If you CAN get Snip in your home, you SHOULD. After cutting the cord, I was able to get rid of all the clunky equipment wastefully consuming energy and save a serious amount of money from ditching expensive big brand cable and internet. I'm now using high-speed internet for my work from home needs and watching live TV through Hulu Live TV. I just have a TV and an Apple TV now. Everyone is always so shocked we're watching TV through the internet because it's fast, carries all the same features and is HD. Sure, once in a blue moon it buffers, but its a nearly perfect service. It also feels good to support a local company with local people. I can also count on them to send my monthly invoices in a timely manner via e-mail and I never have to chase them down for a receipt. I have never had to call a technician even ONCE. I wish I could give this place zero stars. The internet connection they provide for the price is SO bad. I work from home and am constantly dealing with outages. When I try to contact them or call them for service requests, nobody answers. My advice- just save yourself the stress and get a more reliable internet provider. read more

Signed up for 1gb for 75 bucks a month. My ignorance to these things was taken advantage of. Thankfully a friend pointed out I was receiving only 10% of that. Called to complain, and they did nothing about it. Not to mention the places my router in a wall screwed behind a plate wall. Which was also covered up with shelves screwed into the wall. A pain to get anyone on the phone. They play the small business good guy card, they will rip you off. read more

Only internet available in building or I'd get something else. It constantly goes out and they don't have 24/7 customer service to report it. If it goes out at night forget about it til tomorrow. They don't even have an account login page on their site. Everything has to be done via emailing customer support. Bush league stuff. read more

The customer service is terrible. The internet is subpar at best and I missed countless live sporting events when the internet would go down. They mischarged me for the first year and then did not offer to reimburse or compensate me for the incidence. In many downtown Cleveland buildings, they are the only internet option, and the ownership of these buildings should be ashamed of offering this as the only internet carrier in their building. read more

Horrible customer service. No direct phone number to call customer service. Unreliable, with frequent outages. They have a monopoly in my building so I am not able to choose any other Internet provider. I would recommend to avoid if possible. read more

Not reliable. When I've needed it most, internet service has either not been working (like when I was working from home) or been intolerably slow (like when I was trying to watch my alma mater win their first football conference championship in over 10 years). Their customer service tries to be responsive but their overall speed and reliability is just terrible for the exorbitant price. read more

Pretty much the same as all of the other reviews. Can't ever get someone on the phone with customer service. The speeds are dial up slow. I can hardly make it through a Netflix movie without it buffering several times. It's unfortunate that they have a monopoly on this building. So I wrote a previous review of SNIP (4/5 stars) and wanted to update it to 5! I'll say it again: their slogan is pretty accurate and hilarious. "We suck less...". All cable/internet companies suck a bit. But SNIP is a smaller local company and that alone is something I like. Their prices are reasonable and there is always someone available if you have a question. There was a stretch there when service was pretty spotty whenever it rained or stormed and the cable would go out. It was annoying but when I e-mailed the support team they called me and had it fixed within 10 minutes. This was at like 9pm on a weekday too! Chris and Greg are who I've spoken to and they have been nothing but nice and helpful. Since they are a smaller company I think you usually have to leave a message on the main line, but someone has always called me back. Definitely sick of the standard Spectrum or AT&T games. SNIP has been mostly headache free and I've had them since 2016. read more
