I got my hair done by Brittney today, and the whole experience was amazing! Brittney was so funny and personable, she ran right on time, and the appointment itself didn't take too long at all! They also had an adorable little dachshund walking around the salon in a little dress! So adorable, I needed a puppy fix since mine is in Seattle! I came in with blonde hair that has developed a bit of a greenish tint from chlorine, showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look somewhat like, but not as dark, not as red, etc. She read my mind! She made me feel comfortable & made sure that I was doing okay the whole time she was doing my hair. She even offered me something to drink as soon as I sat down. I FINALLY booked an appt with Pash! I've been following her since Tumblr days, where I was at the point where I wanted to book her to do my makeup for my wedding. Then when she got into doing hair, her work is beyond amazing! So I'm here, two weeks away from my wedding and I was in NEED of a trim & to color my hair..had to get rid of that yellow/orange color! Book an appt way ahead of time, because she fills up pretty quick. I booked my appt online through StyleSeat more than a month in advance, just to make sure I was able to see her. She also required for you to put a credit card upon booking the appt for like a security deposit, just in case you dont show up to your appt, you will be charged a fee. She texted me the night before asking if I could come half an hour earlier than what I scheduled so I told her that it was fine. The salon is located at in the Kaneohe Medical Building (I believe that's what the sign says) in between the elementary school and the Sprint building. I missed the turn to their parking lot, keep your eyes peeled! I got there a little early so I had to wait in their waiting area til she got there. The salon is kind of small, but super cute. I say that sometimes less is more! Pash came, and we got started on the do. She refreshed my layers, and I showed her a picture of the color I wanted to go for. To my luck, I didn't have to actually COLOR my hair, but since it was already light, we could tone it to the desired color. In other words : it would cost a lot less than what I anticipated! Pash & I seriously got into our conversation with our love for DISNEYLAND!! Had such a good time talking to her while she was doing my hair. I am beyond amazed with the result of the color, because it came out exactly like I imagined. After having blonde for so long, I'm really digging the dark. I have been going to Pash for years and have never once walked out without feeling extremely satisfied with my hair and service!! She is amaze-balls and a guru with hair!! "Hunnay, any color you lyy she do fo yuu!!" I honestly would not trust my hair with anyone else! She's my go to and super accommodating!! If I need to wait a bit because she's booked, no question about it, I'm waiting! No one else can touch this hair. No thank you. Before writing this review, I also read a nasty comment about her below, which totally baffled me! First, I don't know if any of that is true, because from my experience, I have received the total opposite and I personally have MANY friends that go to Pash as well and never leave dissatisfied!! I also send about everyone and anyone I know to her to get their hair done! I wouldn't send anyone I know, or even I don't know to anyone else!! Regarding that comment, I think sometimes we all forget that we are all JUST human and no one is superman or superwoman, things come up and things happen sometimes. This review is for Pash. She is seriously amazing. Went to her last year for a balayage after my hair had grown out from my previous balayage with someone else. SERIOUSLY loved it. She did exactly what I told her that I wanted and made it better. My hair is also HELLA thick. It wasn't even very long at the time...my head just has triple to quadruple the amount of strands than the average person. Pash had to mix more product or whatever like 2-3 more times after realizing how thick my hair was. Honestly, people normally complain about how thick my hair is and charge me more because of it but Pash was super patient and talked about how lucky I was to have so much hair. Anyways...since then, I've had so much compliments on my hair and people always ask where I go to get it done. After some time, went back to her about a week ago. I had cut my hair short (to my shoulders) and even did an undercut to shave half of the thickness off. I actually wanted to go see her to do the cut but I know she's booked for 1-2 months out all the time and I was dying to cut my hair. Anyways...pretty much hated the cut and was feeling super insecure about it thinking I had made the wrong decision. When I came in, she commented on the cut right away saying that she loved it on me. I told her I had been hating it for the past 2 months and I was hoping she could work her magic and help me out. That is definitely what she did!!! She did my ash brown balayage and I am soooo happy with it. I ALWAYS recommend her to everyone who asks. She does great work and is super sweet and friendly too. This review is for PASH got a text the night before my appt. at around 8:30 pm saying my appt had to be canceled because she had forgot she had something planned?!!!... I made my apt 2 months in advance on styleseat keep that in mind. Then I tried to reschedule to another time even though she canceled on me, but the days I could come in she said she was booked. It didn't seem like she even wanted to have me rescheduled bc texting back wasn't important to her I guess. I had to send her a few texts just to get an I'm booked response back and that was it. It's frustrating when you have kids and get a sitter to do your hair and that time isn't valued by your hairstylist. And she doesn't even try to be accommodating when u try to rebook. It saddens me to read a review below that is completely far fetched from who Pash is as an associate, hairdresser, and person. Some of those things seem very unlike her and I know her extremely well and have never had a bad experience. Doing hair is difficult and there are things that come up and happen that are out of your control. You can't expect people to bend over backwards for you just because you're paying them to do your hair. Pash does amazing work is a Godly woman and works hard for her clients. They matter to her. I've never done a review before, but Pash did such an amazing job on my hair I just had to. Walking into the shop I didn't know what to expect; as soon as I opened the door I was greeted with a welcoming Hello... I replied with Hi I'm here for an appointment with Pash. She took me to the salon chair with no wait at all. We talked a little just to go over what I wanted done. Cut & Color: ombre with different shades of blue. She got right to it, all while talking story making me feel as if I was talking to one of my girl friends. Not the one or two questions with the awkward silence you usually get other hair salons. Before I knew it she was blowing out my hair and all I seen was beautiful shades of blues - navy blue to teal and turquoise, I couldn't be happier. She was even able to fix my bangs that I hated because some other hairdresser messed up royally on it. Since that day I've only gone to Pash to do my hair. I even recommend my coworkers, friends and family to see her because they are always complimenting me about how much they love my hair. One of my coworkers liked my hair so much she took both of her daughters to see Pash and the girls absolutely love their hair. All in all Pash is amazing at what she does and the best advice I can give anyone reading these reviews is don't go based on what you read here, go see for yourself just how great she is, I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

I really didn't want to write a bad review but after what happened to me, I felt that I owe it to her future clients to let them know what they could be getting themselves into. I booked an appointment back in December for January. Mind you this is my 3rd appointment with her which all have been canceled previously by her. I thought it was my 2nd canceled appt but my husband reminded me she actually canceled 3 times. Any hoo, she text me the night before my appointment at almost 10pm and asked me to move my appointment from 10am to 2pm. I let her know that that probably wouldn't work for me since I was dropping my car off at Honda Windward and would be catching the shuttle to her shop after. Which she responds with and I quote "Oh alright, I might have to cancel your appt tomorrow depending how I'm feeling. I've been out the whole week. I've been feeling better definitely not contagious but just been waking up weak in the morning. I'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow and let you know". I kindly let her know it would be easier for me if she knew if she could take me, otherwise I would be stranded on that side with no where to go while me car was getting fixed. She then tells me "that's understandable, we should cancel it then". I'm sorry but this is my 3rd appt with her, really! I did tell her after "this is my 2nd appt (it wasn't till later my husband reminded me it was my 3rd) you canceled with me". She responds with "I've been really sick with strep throat. I can't do anything about that. Please feel free to find another hair dresser that can accommodate you. I wish you were more understanding. There isn't anything I can do for you. Have a great weekend". First of all "you'll let me know the morning of", who runs a business like that? Like I have all day to just sit by my phone and wait for you to call. Lol But the kicker is, coincidentally I had a friend of friend go in to see Pash a few days later. I told my friend what happened to me the next day because I was kind of upset about the whole situation. Her friend goes in, Pash looks at her and says nothing. She sits and waits for 30 minutes with no one telling her "we'll be right with you or were running late". Nothing! She calls our mutual friend and ask her what she should do, if she should wait. My friend then tells her what happen to me. Her friend then tells her the whole time she was waiting, Pash was talking about ME! To the whole salon, clients and all!! I have never met such an unprofessional Hair Dresser in my life. I'm sorry you feel you are so high and mighty that clients will just wait around for you to take them at your leisure. But not this girl! There are so many other great stylists I can go to that won't treat me like that. Good luck on your career, with a big head like yours, your going to need it. P.S. I will not be getting my hair done here anymore. I've been here twice and the first time I came here, my experience was okay. Not the worse job done to my hair but I wasn't completely impressed since their was such a hype on this hairstylist. Price was reasonable. The second time I was here, I completely was disappointed with the outcome. It looked like I had gotten nothing done to my hair besides she changed my color without asking (nothing drastic) but I wanted blonde ( blonde is what I currently had) not ashy tone. And basically, and after a few days, the color had faded away and went back to what I had previous. Not to mention the stylist looked like she was in a hurry/ stressed out to get out. Not sure what happened here, but I'm not returning back. I regret not calling her back to get my hair fixed, but I figured it probably wouldn't make a difference since I wasn't satisfied the first two times. read more

Really disappointed with the service. Went to Pash in September and loved my hair. The appt was very uncomfortable. I felt like she was annoyed to even do my hair and barely said two words to me. This was my first time so I thought maybe she was just having an off day and made another appt for before my vacation in December. She texted me at 11:45pm that she needed to change the time. No problem. Then I wake up the next morning and had a text at 4am saying it was cancelled due to her not feeling well. Ok still no problem. I wished her well and she said she would reschedule ASAP. Sad to say I have to post a bad review. Don't get me wrong, Pash has done an excellent job with my hair but she is not good with communicating. The first time I texted her to schedule my first appointment she didn't respond for 3 days, so I sent another message just to make sure I had the right number and she rudely told me I need to be more patient. Not the greatest first impression. The second time I went in to get my hair done, I walked in on time, sat down and nobody greeted me or said hello. Not even a "we will be right with you" she was 30 minutes late due to going over in time with a client ahead of me. I am usually patient but she could of at least acknowledged me. Then, when she finally came over to greet me she couldn't even remember who I was or why I was there. I felt so awkward. Now it has been almost five months since I last had my hair done and I texted her 2 weeks ago to schedule, and nothing. No response. That was my last straw. Happy to say I found a new stylist. I never write reviews for good or bad services, however I need to do so regarding the customer service and dye job. I went in for a balayage ombre yesterday, in which I have been getting done the last 2 1/2 years with my normal stylist in Maui but could not make it there this holiday season to do so. I decided to give Marnee a chance based off a friend's recommendation and completely regret it. Although Marnee is sweet and nice and obviously did great coloring on other girls, my hair is COMPLETELY messed up. I showed her that my hair can go to an extremely light blonde in one session based off the color that was already in my hair and even showed a picture to her. I left with my entire hair dyed orange. I was already having a horrible morning which is why I decided to not say anything to her upon leaving the salon and wait to see how the color turned out the next morning. When I woke up this morning my hair was ORANGE and even had strands of blue and gray in it. I was HORRIFIED. I went from being known for having the nicest blonde balayage to having a tacky orange dye job that looks like it was box dye. I spent $200 to turn my hair this color and I understand everyone's experience will be different, however, it is the customer service I am most disappointed with. I kindly asked Marnee for a refund for the services, not the tip, just the $195 it cost to do a balayage, and was told that she could not refund me but all she could do was tone it. She had toned it twice yesterday, and after speaking with my usual hair stylist, was informed that something had gone wrong because toner should not be used twice. Now I need to spend another $200+ to even attempt to reverse the damage done yesterday and try to restore my hair to how it was before. I am ashamed to have to submit this review but not being given a refund when I am clearly dissatisfied with the services I received is OUTRAGEOUS. I could have bought a box dye at Long's for $10 and done the same damage that I am left with today. read more
