We were craving something sweet after dinner, this place is open late so it was an easy decision. That, and my honey and his daughter raved about this place when they came here. Of course I trust their judgement, but had to try for myself- they were right. I got a taro sago and bf got the coconut sago, both are delicious! I will be coming here again so I can try the crepes. So.. Sno... We tried you a while back. As one of the very few Asian dessert/boba/ramen establishment. It's good I waited to review you because when I first moved to Merced my palate was painted (spoiled?) by Asian food from the Bay Area and even before that from the heart of LA. In other words I would have high expectations and given out poor reviews. But now that I've been here for a bit, my perspective have changed. My expectations were lowered. My appreciation for any Asian food has heightens. What my friends back there May say is meh, I say, hey not bad! heh Long story short I am more easily pleased. Anyhow your desserts are good in that it's unique to Merced. Shaved ice. Can't get them in other places. Boba.. so limited options nearby. Ramen is hard to come by too. Oh this place is awesome! We came here for my Birthday and planned to get dinner and dessert. When we first arrived we were immediately greeted by Jasmine, the cashier. She is super friendly and did an amazing job at helping us order. Honesty it's been a while since I've seen someone with such great customer service and she was great! First time coming here, it was overwhelming with all of the different dessert choices. Jasmine did an amazing job at recommending different stuff and helped us choose what we eventually got. They have great portions and real good food here! If you were here before they remodeled, I say give it another chance because they are for sure better now! I really like their food, and this is the only place in Merced where I have found hot pot and Korean food! I have been visiting this place for more than 8 years and it is the family favorite every time I visit Merced, my children ask me to go for their crepe and I ask for my tea, the mixed fruit with black tea, it is the best, not to mention that they are very friendly every time we visit. This is by far the best ramen and udon place in Merced and as a bonus they have amazing drinks. Their spicy Tonkatsu Udon is my go to order as well as their mango or lychee mojito(non-alcoholic) and it satisfies my cravings every time. Everything has great flavor and meets expectations.
