I have been skating for almost twenty years and I have never in my life had a skating experience as negative and disempowering as I did at this location. During a freestyle session earlier this year, Coach Vlad-- a rude and disrespectful coach they still allow to teach despite his unprofessional conduct-- directed the skater he was coaching to skate into my jump line several times in ways that posed a danger to both me and her. This was his way of trying to intimidate me off the ice as five minutes later he brusquely told me he needed the "whole ice surface" for his skater and forced me to move to a small corner. I found out later that he was coaching his daughter and find it massively unfair that despite the fact that we both paid the same exact cost for the freestyle session she somehow was more entitled to the ice. I had initially tried to resolve this over email with the skating director Ashley who was also rude, unprofessional, and did not respond in a timely manner. In fact, she hasn't even responded to the last email I sent her. And during our correspondence, in the most weirdly petty mean-girl move, she copied my private skating coach on the email as though to try and get me in trouble with her, which did not work because my coach is a mature adult. I am so disappointed in this experience from Sno-King Snoqualmie, it sucks that I have to drive extra to Renton, but I would much rather skate with their community and there's a reason why so many other skaters feel the same way. I refuse to skate somewhere that allows male coaches to be egregiously disrespectful in dangerous ways to young female skaters with no remorse. Especially with so many young women in this sport, Sno-King should be empowering us. Allowing Coach Vlad to give preferential treatment to his daughter at the cost of others' practice time and safety isn't professional or ethical. read more

It's expensive but ice skating is expensive. Ashley, one of the managers, helped us out soooo much. My 6yo refused to do his class and only wanted to do it with me so Ashley helped us transition to the family class and we were able to go do that. The instructors are so gentle and mature (vs other places where they have high schoolers effing HOLLERING commands at little kids and overwhelming them). These arenas can be overwhelming to little kids bc they echo and there's ppl everywhere and it's cold and just an ONSLAUGHT so I appreciate folks there being gentle w kiddos. Thanks! read more

well-run ice rink with abundant waiting areas for parents and good customer service. The whole place feels clean and bright and airy, there are lots of seats and tables upstairs for waiting, and good range of vending machines for snacks. Parking is ample. Can't comment on the ice ring quality itself, but all good as a parent of a skater. read more

This is a brand new rink. Easy access from I-90. I found it much easier to commute to this rink than to other rinks, despite the actual mileage is more. As a mom of two youth hockey players, I definitely love this new location! There are two sheets of ice, and both have viewing sections upstairs, which make it easier to view hockey games. I also saw a physical therapy place on the 2nd floor, but I am not sure if they take outside patients or only Sno-King members. There is also a small and cute pro shop run by Elevate Sports. Whatever you can think a rink should have, it has everything and everything is sparklingly new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Due to COVID-19, they also put hand sanitizer everywhere so that we can use. The free WiFi service is amazingly fast. Once my son had to attend a virtual course immediately after his game. He was able to use the rink WiFi to attend the online course. We haven't got a chance to visit the locker rooms as due to COVID-19 all the locker rooms are closed. Once we visit the locker rooms, I will update my review. read more

This place has had years of problems with their website. They claim they revamped it last year, but now there are duplicate accounts forcing us to contact their front office, after which the person on the other end just says "Sorry, can't help". The fact that you can't show up and sign up for skating is ridiculous. They even ask for your CELL PHONE CARRIER. Seriously? read more

I LOVE Sno-King Snoqualmie! Not only do they have programs for kids, but they have programs for adults too! I'm in their Learn to Skate and Adult Learn to Play hockey classes. I had never skated before and was nervous about trying... I'm an overweight and unathletic adult. But their coaches have been so kind, patient, and encouraging! I look forward to every session. They have also been really good about covid safety precautions. So glad to have them in our community! read more

Went a couple times - once for the Sno-Skate lane, and then again just for open skate. Honestly, the Sno-Skate lane just meant that they had a Christmas tree in the middle of the ice rink and a Sno-Skate lane poster in the lobby. They didn't even play Christmas/holiday music? Just random pop music. Didn't matter, my kids enjoyed themselves. It was crowded, but still able to get the red metal walker type thing for my 5yr old. Nice thing is the 5 and under get in for $5, cheap. Over 5 is $12 plus $4 for skates. Honestly, the skates are very uncomfortable, but I've never been anywhere that it wasn't. Main thing is my kids enjoyed themselves, ice rink is good, and everyone was friendly at check-in. Will probably go again - need to check online for open skate times. read more

I love the lessons they offer. Some teachers are more aggressive in selling their private lessons but I guess that's how they make living. I wish they actually check vaccination card as is required to. They never do. Other than that is been great. read more

Sno King is the best Ice Arena in Washington, the staff is fabulous considering its mostly younger kids. I love Sno King. I will recommend it to anyone in the area! My favorite is the Learn to Skate classes, they are great if you want to get you, or your child involved with skating or hockey. read more

Went to 5:30 public skate on 2/26/22. Service at front desk was terrible. Waited for forever, and people were in the back and when they finally came up and they were giggling and not professional. Went to the bathroom and it was a disaster. There was toilet paper all over the floor and paper towels on the ground near the door. Lobby was messy and trash everywhere. Upstairs there was a spill that hadn't been cleaned up and looked like it had been there for days. Skate patrol was not helpful on the ice. I rented a helper and skate patrol kept skating around me and it took almost 20 minutes to finally get their attention. He just took the ticket, didn't say anything, left across the ice, and then came back without saying anything to me. Also the skate patrol was on his phone not paying attention to the people skating, my daughter fell and he didn't notice because he was on his phone. Very disappointed with SnoKing's service and the way they do things is very unprofessional and unorganized. read more
