It's not there! Went to get snow cone at a childhood favorite but found it is no longer there. Called the number and no answer. Sad.

I love coming here for a kinako kakigori, both the food and the service is refreshing and calming…read more Kamurocho is a small shop and the ambiance reminds me of small town shops in Japan. Their coffee drinks are strong enough to wake up Snorlax! The cost is relative to its location, so be mindful that the South Bay and the peninsula may have more economic and competitive pricing.

They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

They serve Gunther's Ice Cream, if you do not recognize the name let me share that it is one of the tastiest ice cream with legendary large scoops. Our family travels to Collin's Lake every year, we rave about their ice cream and scoops. Only to find out it's Gunther's. And the fact we have a local location serving Gunther's, so dangerously good! Gunters is from Sacramento and is an icon. There are two dedicated parking spaces right outside Yogurt Island. It's on the same side as Ace hardware, on the corner across from Skippolinis. When you enter my kids immediately get distracted by the giant chalkboard lining the left hand wall. Adding art before they select their treat. They serve great portions and always have a random treat selection. Cotton candy, candy, chips, etc. Bring cash for tip, you can't leave a tip on card. There's a few tables, photo bench, and palm tree head. Hard to explain but when you see it, you can't unsee it. This is our favorite ice cream spot, happy to share a little hidden gem.

I love to support local small businesses who care about the quality of their products and their customers. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Thank you Yogurt Island!

Ok so I literally had Ululani's EVERY SINGLE DAY in Maui so when I found out about their California…read morelocations, I was sooo happy! The only issue was the closest one to me (at the time) was their Hollywood location! BUT STOCKTON OPENED UP and I was like ok kind of closer lol honestly, it's perfect because it's no our go-to after an LA trip and we drive through that way going home. I'm not too familiar with the Stockton area, but I'm assuming it's in a downtown location. I like that they have a corner location with a good amount of parking. They have a shared lot and street parking. They have outdoor seating only. They serve GUNTHER'S ICE CREAM! IYKYK. ALWAYS, always get ice cream with your shave ice. Trust. Anywho, service was quick. Staff was welcoming and nice. It's pretty chill in there, too. The quality and quantity of the shave ice is exactly what you'd get if you were to go to Hawaii for Ululani's. Personally, my #1 go-to is Local Motion with snow cap, li hing mui drizzle and the powder. I just love, love the Li Hing Mui flavor!! The more, the better! You can either order one of their set creations or make your own! Don't be nervous to mix and match flavors! So next time you're craving shave ice, please check out Ululani's! The shave ice is smooth and soft, not crunchy ice and the flavor is actually true to its name.

I got coconut ice cream and each bite was full of shredded coconut. My daughter got the macadamia nut ice cream and she said the one scoop had at least 10 whole macadamia nuts in it! This is a newer addition to our miracle mile and is a family owned business. Please give this local business your support! They have cute tables to sit at out doors but no indoor seating. There is a shade tarp above the tables outside. The service is top notch and the ambiance is adorable! They serve the shaved ice and ice cream in eco friendly bowls with wooden spoons too! You will pay about $25 for two with everything (the ice cream on the bottom and the snow cap cream is extra).

Like gummies, pancake mix, cookies, etc. I also love how they provided shade tents & water to those who were waiting in line outside. The line went by quick and the shaved ice came out really fast. I've been a huge fan since I first tried their frozen concoction over a decade ago, and I haven't found anything comparable since. As expected, the place was poppin with people when we got there on a toasty afternoon. Although there was a bit of a line, it moved pretty quickly, and we were able to order in no time. I ended up getting the No Ka Oi with coconut ice cream in the middle, mochi topping, and li hing mui powder on top. Just as Ululani quoted in its tagline, "all shave ice is not created equal", not all Ululani shave ice locations are equally good. Maybe it's just a one-off, but I feel like the shave ice I got here didn't taste as good as the one in Maui. Some parts of the ice texture were also coarser than I remembered. I still like it, but maybe I'll stick to my Local Motion mix next time.
