My husband and I absolutely love Sno To Go. We live 3 hours away, but whenever we pass by Williamsburg we always stop in. We even plan our beach trips around their hours!! My opinion: Shaved ice was great... Tons of flavors to choose from. Would not recommend the soft serve ice cream... It's icy not creamy so just not my preference. Owner was there while we were and was very nice and chatty. My youngest didn't like his soft serve so the staff switched it for a shaved ice (that he loved!!) Visiting from out of town and this was a nice treat! Don't remember the exact flavors we got, I think one was called squirt, which was a combo green favor and the mango were very good. I've grown up in williamsburg, and one place i think about when its summer time and the weather starts to heat up is Sno To Go! They hold a special place in my heart. Their selection is immense, but most importantly; its the best shaved ice i've ever had. The top 3 flavors you have to try for the first time is (always get them stuffed) is 1. Swizzleberry 2. Tigers blood 3. Bahama Mama. If you're not a shaved ice person, the ice cream is phenomenal as well. read more

Sno-to-go is really awesome, and you should definitely stop by with your friends and family. I was taken here on my recruiting trip for William & Mary, and the recruiter sure knew what she was doing! the stuffed snow cones are delicious, and i still haven't tried all of the flavors. It is Christian-owned and so they are closed on sundays. They're also closed throughout the winter. In fact, I think it's closed right now. So good! Soft serve was the best kind you can get...you know the custard-style that is so delicious! A small cup was huge and definitely enough to share. There were a ton (like a million) of shaved ice flavors....the stuffed sno-cone looked yummy. Coke was a can, not fountain, but no biggie. Friendly, fast and cheap prices! This place kicks butt, I never imagined that blueberry sno-cone and vanilla ice cream could taste so good when mixed. My kids called it the Smurf...I like that analogy. It literally looked like a Smurf. My only suggestion for you ice cream/sno-cone lovers is to try flavors that make sense, and go simple. The orange does not taste like orange, so forget the idea of a Creamsicle. In other words, choose wisely, choose only one color and don't make it a mash up (wouldn't be able to taste it anyway), and finally, have fun, you only live once. read more

I regret not coming here sooner. The texture on the ice is fine, not like the rougher shaved ice most places offer. The customer service I received yesterday was just too much (in a good way). I had ordered a small soft serve ice cream. I could see them through the window trying to get my ice cream on a cone, but she clearly wasn't pleased with the way it was coming out. She tried three or four times until one of them eventually opened up the machine. A few minutes later, they apologized profusely for the wait, which I didn't think was that long anyway. When they did get my ice cream, they also offered me some kind of credit for future use. (Though I had to turn it down, not being from the area.) Basically, the staff was super nice and went over the top with customer service. And I enjoyed my ice cream too. Thanks guys! read more

Best ever! There is going to be a wait. There is always just one or two kids running the place. So don't come then get upset when it takes a little bit. Just relax its worth the wait. went there because of the great reveiws here. maybe i had my hopes set too high. Pro: very friendly staff, portions are huge (think 2-3x normal), prices are very reasonable, very rich soft serv with lots of flavors. the shaved ice and ice cream combo is pretty cool but didnt do anything for me. Con: place is right on a major highway, nosiy, with picnic tables outside, no inside seating. Seating is outside, on a nice cool day that may work but on a 90+ degree day soft serv melts very fast. cones just dont work, unless you want to wear ice cream. everything we got melted so fast it was funny to watch, not so much to be the one trying to clean up. The ice cream and ice flavors were original but still pretty boring after the first few bites. read more
