Snobby Dog Spaw came highly recommended so I had no issues bringing my pup in for a visit. What I like: pups are allowed to roam around while they're there instead of being kenneled. What I didn't like: I specifically asked that my pups facial hair not really be altered as I like her shaggy. I was told they may straighten a line by her eyes and I said ok, but I still want her to look like a puppy. When I picked her up, the bridge of her nose had been shaved and she now looks like another dog. She wasn't even there to be groomed, she was only there for a wash and tidy puppy visit. I would have never agreed to clippers being used on her face as she is meant to be a shaggy dog. Super disappointed as I know this will take a long time to grow back out. Not sure why my request was ignored. She also got the sanitary cut, which is shaving from vagina to butthole and now she's running in circles trying to nibble her butt, I guess due to it itching from the razor. My husband and kids were appalled at her new look when she got home. Ugh. Also of note, she's a puppy and was there for hours and there isn't even a spot for her to relieve herself before we get in the car to leave. She whined all the way home until she could get out to potty in the grass. Overall, highly disappointed that I didn't get what I specifically asked for. When a client says not to alter facial hair, it should be a given that you not take a razor to it. Two stars because the hair will grow back and she was otherwise well taken care of.

Our little dog is not the tamest, Nichole has been the best to just pick him up, make him feel comfortable and handle his business we just LOVE her for that! I was worried, every time I'd walk out of Petsmart it's nearly 100.$. (PS, everyone seamed scared those days to even leave their loved ones at Petsmart. One lady's puppy's nails were bleeding from grinding...ouch!) but NOT these darling girls! They do a great job and aren't astronomical in their pricing. I'm impressed. They've got show dogs they handle here, so they really know their business & Ive seen some real beauty's come out, with their finishing touches and what not...just to die for! I always make an appointment because they can fill up quick but definitely worth the time and cost!

Best groomers ever! I've been taking my schnauzer here for about a year now and she looks great every time!! Even when I'm a little late on getting her an appointment and gets a little matted, they work with me to try and brush her out so they don't have to shave her off completely. I don't have a specific groomer, I just take whose available but their always great with my baby girl!

Our Aussies hack job we didn't agree on.

Read good reviews about this place and we wanted to give them a chance. My fiancé and I have three long haired dogs and we called in advance to schedule an appointment to have them washed dried and brushed only. The lady on the phone said it wasn't a problem and then Tuesday we took our dogs in for their apt and I asked the lady who was going to take care of our dogs if she knew what we wanted and she said no. So I told her we didn't want their fur cut AT ALL and she agreed on a bath, blow dry, brushing, and trimming the fur under their feet only. When we looked at the dogs they looked normal and then my fiancé noticed their privates had been butchered with clippers. I was furious and called to speak to the manager who left the phone so I could talk to the owner who told me to kick rocks and laughed when I said I wanted my money back. She said the girl spent too much time grooming them and that I was a liar and mistaken on what I specifically said 3 times before I let my dogs go. The lady that took my dogs never mentioned a sanitary cut because prior to seeing it I didn't even know what that was or I would have asked and not agreed. I'll never go to this place again and I WILL get my money back.

Pretty girl with her new cut!

No video shows incident. They also claim no responsibility to injury and I'm left with a very hefty medical bill. Pet owners need to be aware that this place and possibly others will leave you with just a "Sorry that this happened"!response if your dog is injured. If I can give this place 5 negative stars I would. This is total negligence and irresponsibility on their part. I believe they care more about taking your Benjamin's than caring for your Bengie!

I picked a level 5 but the owner talked me into a level 4 since it'll be easier to manage the shedding with. When I called and made the appointment, I told the lady I did not want him shaved or cut too short. When I arrived I told the lady 4 times that: 1. I've never had a dog groomed before so a professional recommendation would be appreciated. 2. Do not shave MY DOG!!! I want to keep him longer just trim all the wispy hairs up and give him an GOLDEN CUT. I kid you not... I picked him up and he is SHAVED!!! All but his tail was touched. I was at a loss of words. We called after I got home and now the owner is arguing with us and refuses to believe he really is that short. She also told me it was MY fault because I "pointed" at the board when the cut lengths. As a professional... would you advise if cuts were against what the customer asked for? Wouldn't you guide them in something that's new to them but THEIR PROFESSION?!? I will never return and will forever warn people about the incompetence running wild through this facility. His undercoat has been damaged. His hair texture has completely changed. His coat doesn't grown back in curly anyone (my favorite part and the whole reason I don't want him shaved). Our vet advised us, it won't ever grow back the same and will take at least two years to fix the damage they caused. This is your warning- do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY!!!

DO NOT BOARD YOUR PET HERE -- NEGLIGENT AND TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE…read more If you care even remotely about the wellbeing of your pet, do not leave them at this facility. We boarded our healthy, happy cat here for just four days, and what we got back was a traumatized animal who needed emergency medical care, he didn't even look or act like himself -- he was severely dehydrated, lethargic, not eating, not drinking, not going to the bathroom, major vomiting, and had glassy eyes. He was clearly not fed, given water, or cared for properly. Once we picked him up, alarm bells were going off and immediately I said to my partner "what's going on, what happened to him?!" And the moment we got home he was guzzling water from his water bowl, a clear sign of dehydration. We had to take him to the vet multiple times, where he received IV fluids, a steroid shot, GI meds, x-rays, and an ultrasound. The symptoms pointed to acute stress and neglect -- all developed during his short stay at this facility. When we confronted them, they clearly didn't want to hear our story. The level of "we don't care" was off the charts. The very first thing they said to us was "oh just give us the vet bill, we'll take care of it." Which raised concern - we never asked them for this. Then they said they'd try to find out info from whoever watched our cat those days, but they never followed up like they said they would. Instead, they cut us a check (which we didn't even ask for) -- just to get rid of us. No questions about what happened. No concern. No apology. Just a silent attempt to sweep this under the rug. Once they gave us a check I thought for sure the owner would reach out and ask us about our experience, but Wendy never did. One of the girls that worked there said she's not really involved in running her business (Wendy the owner lives out of state, btw). We trusted them with a member of our family, and what we got in return was negligence, evasiveness, and a massive vet bill (to be transparent, their check covered half, we spent over a thousand out of pocket b/c our cat had to go back multiple times - all worth it but wouldn't wish this on our worst enemy). This isn't just a bad review -- this is a WARNING. Do not risk your pet's health by boarding them here. Zero stars if I could.

Last minute booking will limit your options, especially around holidays. The only complaint I have is that our poodle and his blanky were soaked in doggy pee when we picked him up once. He was in an indoor/outdoor run, and couldn't figure out how to use the doggy door. We usually have him bathed before pick-up (recommended), but were in a hurry to pick him up this particular time. The staff is happy to give updates if you are worried about your pup or have questions.

For some reason (maybe she - the front desk receptionist - told me it was because they were being cleaned? I can't exactly remember.). I was not able to check them out. This second time, when picking up Phoebe, a new customer came in and someone - whom I supposed was the owner of BB&B - took her right back without question. It may not be their general operating procedure, as it is with many other boarding kennels; but, I was told that we would be sent a photo of her on her first five-day visit. In fact, they offered. That didn't happen. It's not something that I expect from a kennel; but, more and more kennels are sending daily updates via a photo or two showing pets playing or just having a good time. I think it's a great way to reassure pet owners that their pets are comfortable while owners are gone. On this second visit, I reminded them that they never provided me with a photo for the first visit; and, I was assured that it would happen this time. Again, it didn't happen. I left 12 Wuffes (hip/joint supplements) for six days with instructions that she was to receive two per day. (Even left two extra just in case we didn't get back as scheduled). Out of the twelve, 10 were returned. This means that they were given to Phoebe only one day. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I was trying to really like this place. With both a five-night and a six-night visit, boarding isn't cheap. And, I certainly don't mind paying for it, but, when it comes to my pets when I'm not able to be around them, it is comforting to know that they are in a safe, comfortable place where their health needs are being met by staff, especially when provided with meds and instructions. Just reviewed my online invoice to find that I WAS CHARGED $9.90 FOR PLAYTIME THAT I DID NOT REQUEST. I had earned free pool time. I figured, as did another reviewer of BB&B, that since most kennels allow dogs to be given socialization time, that this place would work that way as well, but, apparently that is NOT the policy here. I do a lot of traveling, but afraid I'll have to find a different kennel boarding option from here on out.
