We were in Snohomish for a Yelp Experience and a friend told us a new coffee shop opened a few days ago. So after lunch, we walked along First Street looking at a few antique stores on our way to Snohomish Coffee Co. It turned out to be a fun local place with a busy crowd being helped by the two guys behind the counter. They were both very friendly and told us they opened just 4 days ago (Saturday, 3/29/2025). They had tried to start with a coffee cart but were told the city didn't allow those in this area. Just as well for all of us as the place is very large inside with a high 2 story interior and an ideal corner location. Their menu and display items at the counter offer things like pastries, muffins, cookies and avocado toast. While there we had an Iced Macchiato and a hot chocolate. Snoho Coffee seems focused on natural flavorings, grain-free and vegan items as well. They even used a date syrup to mimic the caramel flavor for the Macchiato used by most other coffee shops. Overall, it is a nice addition to the Downtown Snohomish scene and should do well. Give it a try! read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in the snohomish area and introduced me to my new favorite drink: Aerocano...I get it every time! If you like americanos and lattes, this is the perfect in between! The shop itself is also cozy yet open with a lot of natural light, so even on its busiest or rainy days is nice to sit down and enjoy your coffee. The staff is always friendly and I love the corner with the couches where the kids can also play. read more

While the staff was very friendly, talk about a sterile-looking coffee shop! There's no personality (but I'm also biased because of the coffee shop it replaced that was oozing personality) but I was determined to give it a fair shot. Went in at 9am and ordered the breakfast bowl and was told they were sold out. Already? Strike 1. I then ordered an avocado toast and it had this sweet date paste schmear which made the dish both sweet and savory, which was off putting. Strike 2. I ordered an Americano and when I took a sip, I realized immediately they use Ethiopian beans. I detest Ethiopian beans so I just tossed my drink. Strike 3. I wish their menu on the wall would have said that instead of the five drink items with just the cost and name listed. It's a no for me, dog. read more

I really wanted to like this place. They advertise how they use 3 ingredient non-dairy milks, all the syrups are homemade, and have vegan and gluten free food options made from healthy ingredients. I thought I was going to love this place as that's how I normally eat and what I gravitate towards. But the coffee was so bad. I drank half and couldn't do it anymore so I tossed it. The shots were burnt, and it had a dirt aftertaste. I did kind of like their sparkling lemonade with homemade blueberry syrup. My husband didn't like it, but he likes sweeter things than I do. The service is slow. Like really slow! It seemed to be an efficiency and layout issue for the workers. They were clearly working hard, but they gotta figure out how to not make ordering a bottle neck. The interior was very cold and sterile, with no sound absorption. Another reviewer described the sound as cafeteria sound level, which I think is spot on. I do miss the coziness of Looking Glass coffee. This place has hard furniture which always says to me, please don't stick around. I love their mission of minimizing processed ingredients, but the coffee was so bad I don't think I can come back. read more

We stopped by for the first time on Mother's Day. Bright, modern and open space with lots of seating and an area with couches and kids' toys which our girls enjoyed. The staff was also friendly. Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast were not good. The breakfast sandwich was very dry and flavorless and the avocado toast didn't have much avocado. Also tried a latte with cashew milk, date syrup and nonfat vanilla. Let's just say I will not be ordering that again! It was lukewarm and not good (was looking for something with some flavor but not too sweet). My husband said his Americano was good. I'm not sure if the quality of the food and drinks was just because of the day and it being busier than usual? Definitely will not be our go-to place in downtown Snohomish but think we will try one more time and maybe our experience will be better. read more

I do not recommend this coffee shop. I will start with the positives, the employees were polite and the shop is clean. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely horrible. We were served a muffin that was ice cold. It felt as though it was fresh out of the freezer. The avocado toast had a heinous looking balsamic spread on-top that made me not want to consume it. The drinks were alright, but nothing to come back for. Unfortunately I was severely disappointed, as I have been coming to this location prior to it becoming the Snohomish Coffee Company. The hours are also poor, especially since this is the closest coffee shop to the Snohomish farmers market, and they are closed as soon as that begins. Overall this coffee shop is bare and not inviting feeling, does not match the vibes of Downtown Snohomish. read more

So disappointed. my family and I loved "The Looking Glass" and the warm cozy vibe. It used to have the sounds of people connecting in conversation , a warmth that permeated the environment year round, and a welcoming atmosphere. The drinks were excellent, the food was great...and the prices reasonable. I had heard not great thing about the "new" coffee establishment that replaced "The looking glass", but I'm and independent thinker and wanted to give this place a try for myself....and to say I was let down is an understatement. It's giving snobby hipster vibes. Staff was less than friendly, the aesthetic is sterile, and the food was mediocre at best....not to mention over priced. I RARELY take time to leave reviews, and if I do, it's historically been to say "Bravo!"....but sadly not today. I felt compelled enough to spend what little free time I have to say "Don't bother." Snohomish Coffee Co is sterile, LOUD, and lacks good coffee. They sell 1 roast - medium. That's it. Very limited options. Overpriced. $4 for an 8oz drip coffee. Not even organic. Unfortunately, it lacks anything special :-( read more

My husband & I tried the new coffee shop in our town & it was So great! All the coffee syrups are home made and not stuffed with sugar. The perfect sweet! I had a hot date latte. It tasted rich like caramels, I included the avocado toast in my order. A slice of bread with sliced avocado, beautiful little sprout greens & home made creamy date balsamic drizzle on top, quite filling & delicious! Looking Glass who? LGC had a special place in a lot of our hearts, so it was definitely bittersweet when the news broke about new ownership and a complete overhaul. But after chatting with the staff during their final weeks, I felt encouraged by the vision the new team had--and wow, did they deliver. Sure, some might balk at the new aesthetic and atmosphere, calling it too minimal or "Seattle," but I dig it. And more importantly... the coffee I ordered a cortado--something not even listed on the menu--and not only was it the best cortado I've ever had, I immediately turned around and ordered another! My only complaint? The hours. Coffee this good should absolutely be available after 3 PM! read more

Disappointed. Overpriced. These prices are higher than Seattle. Espresso weak. You can't order an extra shot as they charge you for two. The cashew milk was watery and had a god awful flavor to it. Spouse had the egg sandwich. Very dry. My 16 ounce latte cost me almost 10 bucks...without the oat milk as they were out of it. The spouse had the cashew milk and let me try it. No soy milk. The blueberry muffin looked tiny and the smallest bagel I have ever seen outside of those you see in the United Club at Sea-Tac. read more

I like this space and the service is great but the best thing is the Chai Tea! So delicious especially iced, no milk!!! Doesn't need it. Doesn't need sweetener either. I had the coffee latte before and was not disappointed. They have WiFi and stay open until 4pm so easy to work while enjoying the beverage or have a quick in-person meeting. read more

This is one of the most lovely coffee shops I've ever been to and I've been to a lot... I am new to town and walk past every morning to see people soaking in the sunlit windows taking it all in... They now have 'white chocolate', but it's not what you'd expect-- it's a thin, watery 'syrup' that has a very strong alcohol tinged flavor, akin to cough syrup. It's disgusting. They charge for two shots if you order an extra (ie I was charged for four shots when I ordered a triple!!) because they don't pull single shots. Looking Glass was exactly the opposite -- they'd generously give you the extra shot for free and even upsize your drink at no charge! Anyway, my sister and I got triple 12 oz white chocolate Americanos at SCC and they were $8.50 each!!They don't have whipped cream, which is weird, and they don't have a regular creamer thingy for customers to use. The guy just begrudgingly handed me a commercial jug off their counter, which I used. I wasn't sure if it was the syrup or the cream but it was nasty and sour tasting. I asked the guy making coffee (who I learned is one of the owners!) about it and he gave me a sample of the 'white chocolate' -- premium he said. And that is how I learnt of its thin watery texture & alcohol taste. There's nothing white chocolatey about it, at all. He offered to remake our drinks with their home made vanilla syrup and I took him up on it. I kid you not: it tasted identical. My sister still had her 'white chocolate' and we compared our drinks -- they were indistinguishable. Gross. I let him know we couldn't drink them. They were making our stomachs queasy. He just said 'Sorry!" And we left our very full very expensive coffees there. The avocado toast was a joke; our pieces if bread were so thin but one was large while the other was like a tiny end piece, poor quality control to charge the same price for such different portions. The chunky balsamic dressing was overkill. There is no way to view the food menu until you're right up at the order counter, since they don't have it on the wall only one tiny sheet by the cash register so everything gets bottlenecked there and the person up front gets pretty snippy. They should fix their system. Overall service is rather snotty and rude, condescending. The place is still so SO LOUD, despite there being way less people there then when it was Looking Glass. Closing at 4pm seems like a poor choice if they are wanting to improve customer relations, but they first need to figure out how to make good coffee. Don't think I will be back again -- it's too yucky and not worth the cost, at all. Very disappointing considering what this place had been. read more
