THIRD WAVE COFFEE IN SNOHOMISH! If you're looking for fruit forward, light roasted coffee you should give it a shot. They currently offer local roasters: Velton's Coffee & Makeworth Coffee as well as Moxie Coffee (my favorite) out of Phoenix. If I'm wanting an espresso--this is where I'm going. Clean, fruit forward, and well extracted shots. The best espressos I've had in this town have been shots of Moxie from here. Give it a go!

Such a treat! I don't have any dietary restrictions and still think their treats are so good. The bakery is adorable with cute seating areas and the even plant propagations for sale. Their baked good selections change daily but they always have both sweet and savory selections as well as cakes. We got their cookies and cream brownie, bacon scone, and vanilla berry cake. They were all delicious and I would happily get them again. We also got an oat milk cardamom rose latte and it was so good! Not sweet and had a good mix of cardamom and rose. We'll be back!

I ordered a gluten-free cake for a joint 50th birthday party and it was honestly amazing. I'm always a little nervous about gluten-free desserts because they can be hit or miss, but this one was such a hit. The flavor was perfect , not overly sweet, and the frosting was just right. I live in West Seattle and decided to order from Grain Artisan Bakery after a poor experience with another bakery. From start to finish, the process was easy and stress-free. They gave great suggestions on cake flavors and even suggested a drizzle of caramel on the side, which was such a nice touch. I loved the simple elegance of how the cake turned out. Everything was exactly how we'd hoped, and it really made the celebration feel extra special. The drive to Snohomish was absolutely worth it for the kindness and overall great experience. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again, especially for something as important as a milestone birthday

One of my favorite bakeries in the area. I think everything is gluten free but you would never guess it. A lot of keto variations as well if you're on a diet. Love all the savory scones, the cardamom ginger molasses cookies are delicious. Check out the day old stuff for 50% off!

I stumbled upon this place while exploring Snohomish and it was a nice surprise. It's a small shop but with a lot of different baked goods. They had croissant, scones, galletes, cookies cakes and bread. They were also selling day old items for discounted price. The person helping me was also very nice. He was able to recommend a couple of their popular items. I ended up getting: A regular croissant - this was pretty dense but was surprisingly good and still has the flake. However, after a day, it got super rich so I couldn't eat more than a few bites. It's not that big to begin with Galette - this was heavy but with the $9 price tag, it makes sense. The flavor was on point and it was pretty crunchy. It's probably really good warmed up in the air fryer or something Bacon scone --- I think it should be called a biscuit because it looks like a biscuit and it taste like a biscuit :) but it was a pretty good baked goods. Probably the favorite out of the 3. Overall, a pretty good bakery in this small town, i would stop by again if I'm in the area

As a gluten free person, this is the greatest place ever. I have loved everything I have ever had from here. Cinnamon rolls, cakes, cookies, etc. have all been amazing. I recently had a croissant from here and it was probably the best croissant I had ever had, including the non-gluten free ones I have had in the past. From my experience, they do sell out of the more popular items fairly quickly so try to go earlier on in the day!

Our wedding cake! Perfectly designed and executed.

We ordered our wedding cake from here, from the get-go, everything was an absolute dream. The whole team made the process so easy, and was so caring towards our big day. Our tasting was amazing, and we truly believe everyone should get their cakes here for any special occasion, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions like me! We ordered the bigger cake option and it was so worth it. Not one piece was left over-- we had people going for seconds! What a truly fabulous and amazing bakery!!! We will be customers for life, as long as this bakery is around, we will be patronizing it.

Tuna salad on croissant. Sandwiches on croissants are one of the main menu items I've missed being able to eat. It was so good!

The croissants. The CROISSANTS. Any foodie who has been gluten free for a long time knows the pain (no pun intended) of not being able to eat delicious pastries and bread. I bit into one and I couldn't believe it wasn't gluten (TM). I envy those of you lucky enough to live near Snohomish. The client coordinator was so sweet and helped me reserve croissants from their booth at one of the farmer's markets near me. The pain au chocolat is no less heavenly, but I'm a savory guy through and through. Their scones are epic, too! Thank you Grain Artisan for making the things that have been the hardest to replicate in a home kitchen.

Sourdough loaf, it was still warm

Love this place, it's a gluten free haven! Their cakes are amazing, you wouldn't even know they're gluten free. Their savory scones are great for breakfast and the sweet scones aren't overwhelmingly sweet, which I like. Their loaves of sourdough bread are fantastic and do not have oil as an ingredient. They make good sized frozen pot-pies to take home and bake too. I believe they have now gotten their onsite bakery certified gluten free. The apple galette is a personal favorite. They always seem to have vegan and dairy free options too if that's your thing.

How does this bakery work to prevent cross-contamination, especially for their celiac customers? I'm very wary of mixed bakeries unless stringent protocols are followed. I know people like to treat GF as a fad, but my health depends on this!

They're now totally gluten free and are waiting to get certified.

HOWEVER, if you want exceptional customer service and off-the-charts quality, you need to dash over to the Simply Sweet Bakery here in Snohomish, WA. Seriously! Here are just a few reasons for my very happy review: o Fabulous taste: I love good cake/cupcakes. I know, I get it. There are people out there who will eat any cupcake, be it dry, smuuschy, even with that frighteningly pretend frosting that could be sold on eBay under "vintage" (not in a good way..._). I am not one of those people. Another note I feel is essential for you to know is that I know my strengths - baking good cupcakes is not one of them. Like good bread, I am happy to wear the crown of "Queen of knowing how to purchase great cakes/cupcakes, and breads". Simply Sweet is now my go-to! The texture of their cupcakes is a combination of that perfect, slightly dense (I think of it as being a yummy "pound cake-y" style, which is my favorite) without being a brick. Somehow they figured out how to make them be substantial without being too heavy or dry, YAY! And the frosting is fantastic! Saying it should practically be a controlled substance is my way of saying "yes, please!" o Gorgeous presentation: These darlings are lovely! Whether you buy the little, mini ones, the regular size, or the monster size ones, they are all gorgeous! AND they come in these boxes that help ensure they actually make it to your event without looking like you decided to make a side trip and visit someone's sketchy trampoline en route. How nice! Oh, and that frosting? It is both delicious and perfectly applied! Who knew that was possible? And, yet, here you go! o A true variety: Just look at their website. Warning: they are all fabulous. o Fair prices: Have you priced gourmet cupcakes? Before you grumble, just remember quality ingredients cost more than the cheap ones. Why? Because THEY TASTE BETTER. That being said, Simply Sweet still has very competitive prices! I checked! o Customer service that gives Nordstrom a run for its money! My darling, adult, special-needs daughter, Sara, is a GIANT Snohomish Panther Volleyball fan! Every year, we try to celebrate these amazing athletes by bringing them a treat. This year, we decided on going with Simply Sweet Bakery! YAY! ...small problem...I needed them ASAP as the season got away from me, and the Panthers were at the very end of their regular season! Yikes! I completely blame myself, but I needed them on a Wednesday, and Simply Sweet is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays...oh dear...50 cupcakes...oh dear...Did I mention this was on a Sunday, after they had closed, when this came to light? Oh dear! I sent an email explaining my plight with no expectations of success... Guess what! Not only did I receive an email response in record time, but THE CUPCAKES WERE READY AND WAITING BY NOON ON THAT WEDNESDAY!!!! They were so beautiful! They were SO TASTY! They were perfect! I could have cried! Simply Sweet did not have to do this. They just did. There is a reason they are such a local gem! They care about their product and their clientele. How cool is that? Needless to say, those amazing Panther Volleyball Players were thrilled, as were we! Must go now, off to purchase a herd of cupcakes for Sara's birthday celebration! Oh, and their online ordering setup is a "cake walk" to use! Buy Here, You Will Thank Me!

I had been there a few times before and had always enjoyed it, so I was actually the one raving to my friend about how good the place was and suggesting we go there. We spent around $65 on our order, and I even left a generous tip. While waiting for our food, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables since the restaurant was only about half full. We were told by who I believe was the owner that we could not sit at a table because they were "running food" and it made things too difficult, and instead were told to sit on the bench by the door. The problem was the bench was already full, so we were left standing there waiting for our order with nowhere to sit. Honestly, it was embarrassing after I had talked the place up so much to my friend. It was disappointing because there were plenty of empty tables available and we were paying customers simply waiting for our food. The interaction felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and left a bad impression.

In addition to olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the shop has all kinds of associated items -- pouring spouts and the like. While we tasted a great many flavors of olive oil, and quite a few balsamic vinegars, we keep going back to the same favorites time after time: * Traditional balsamic vinegar * Tuscan herb infused olive oil There are many other interesting flavors, but these stand the test of time. And while one can use them to make a great oil-and-vinegar dressing on a salad, our favorite way to consume them is with a fresh good-quality baguette, ideally made the same day by a real french bakery (like La Parisienne in Seattle). A little oil in a dish, a little balsamic vinegar poured through it, then a hunk of baguette dipped in the balsamic-tuscan-herb mixture. Yum!! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and it's hard to go wrong with any of the choices. Well worth a drive to get high quality ingredients. We are big fans.
