It's a pool hall, which are rare to find these days. I felt like I walked back in time when I entered this place (check the pics.) My mom worked at Cushion N Cue when I was a kid, so I was practically raised in a pool hall. It felt nostalgic as soon as I walked in. The front attendant was super-friendly. I told her I'd never been there before and had no idea what to expect. She explained the pricing structure (by the hour, and you're charged a prorated rate when you're ready to leave.) There are servers that walk around the tables to see if you want food or drinks. I obviously took over their TouchTunes jukebox with my phone (one of my favorite things to do in a bar.) There were a lot of cues to choose from and most seemed to be in good condition. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Drink prices were decent. They had a couple Blake's ciders available in cans, which is always a nice treat. The service was slow but I have been giving most places a pass during COVID times. Overall, a pool hall that feels like you're walking back in 1996. It could really use a facelift but I enjoyed the couple hours I spent there playing pool with a friend. read more

I have been here on various occasions. The parking lot is TERRIBLE. I am not sure who does the upkeep here but it seriously needs to be repaired for this place of business. The place is cool. When you enter there is a bar, pool tables throughout, games and a dart board area. The service was ok. The waitress was friendly but a little slow. Depending on the time you go, there can be R&B, Hip Hop music and even a DJ. The food is ok and is mostly bar food. The drinks are made well. The place can be a little loud but it is safe and there is a friendly crowd here. I would plan on going here again. read more

Snooker's is a great venue for groups and parties. They have a lot of room. In addition to pool, they have a DJ on weekend nights, so those who aren't drinking and catching up with friends have something to do. There are quite a few tables, so with the right crowd, it could be good for pick up games or tournament. They have a fun drink menu that includes some made with local Valentine vodka, and they pour well! I loved the dirty D martinis. I was here with a group on a Friday night. The place was reasonably busy, but not packed. While the service was very friendly, the waitstaff was either very busy (maybe spread out?) or slow. As new guests arrived or were ready to leave, it took a long time to find someone to place orders or get checks. The music was kind of weird but they occasionally played music I liked. We were here on a Thursday so the Groupon was not needed. The pool table was only $8 an hour. Overall this place had good food, drinks, and had plenty of open pool tables. The prices were reasonable but upon leaving we gave them our pool stuff back and charged us $25?! which was never advertised that you have to pay at all. They need to do a better job informing you when you get the pool balls that you will be charged an amount. And the fact that on top of our bar tabs, you're paying for the pool table which is a joke. Will never be back! Im big on finding new bars to love that you would never usually imagine me going to (mostly dive bars) ... The servers here are top notch, efficient, attentive, and personable. however, when I'm in an environment that makes me feel uncomfortable, how can I enjoy drinking, relaxing, and letting my guard down? When I looked around I noticed multiple shady characters hanging in the corners (much like the ones you see at dance clubs lurking in the shadows). when I saw smiling groups having fun, they were flashing gang signs in pictures!!! I met a large group (I only knew one person) here during a weeknight. She was there with a group that's known each other since elementary school for a fun night of catching up on life. Since I didn't know anyone I more or less was in observation mode most of the night. I noticed the overall service was absolutely terrible. I myself placed an order for a drink and it would take 20- 25 minutes before the drink showed up. I heard other folks in the group complaining about their food or drink taking a while to be received. We were sitting at the tables...don't know if the service would've been faster at the bar. The space itself is nice. Plenty of areas to chill. The karoake was a nice touch. The music was mostly jamming. I don't know if they had a skeleton crew working that night but it didn't seem like it was THAT busy to warrant the slow service. I've been going to this location for as long as I can remember and never had a bad experience up until this most recent visit. I was meeting with a group of friends (we reserved a table) for drinks and the service was beyond reprehensible.Typically, I go here during the week because it's not crowded and the drinks are good. This past Saturday was the complete opposite. First offense were the terrible drinks. I ordered a cosmo and received some dark purple substance and there was barely any of it in the glass. It didn't even taste good. I go to the bartender and she tells me that's what it's supposed to look like. Umm no it's not. I've been drinking cosmos for years and have made them at home and they're never dark purple and funny tasting. Then she adds more cranberry to it because somehow cranberry juice will make a terrible drink taste better, silly me. Second offense was that 90% of our party was there at 930 but we didn't see a server until 1230. By that time, we were ready to go. Third offense was due to not having a server, this resulted in us going to the bar to order drinks and food and waiting 30-45 minute to be seen. At this point, I got my second terrible drink of cranberry and titos that was 99% juice. read more

It is with great distain that I report that I had a less than desirable time at Snooker's Pool and Pub. I visited this pool hall numerous times in the past but never had I encountered a situation like this. I was spoken to very rudely and slightly shoved. While dancing near the bar a woman came charging at me saying excuse me very rudely and stretched her hand out to me shoving me to the side. What I didn't understand is why she didn't simply go around me with the ample room she had and could've used. After charging her way through she yield "This is not a dance floor". Immediately follow this incident the woman went behind the bar. I walked over to the bar and asked for the manager, the guy behind the bar said "I saw that, what did she say to you?", I told him what happened and he said "yes I saw that and I told her that was very rude". I asked to speak to someone over her and he said she was the General Manager. So I asked to speak with her, she came over unremorseful, I asked her for a card to contact her superiors to inform them of the mistreatment received by their General Manager. read more

This is a pool hall not a night club. why is the music so loud! I walked in & right back out. They're remodeling the outside to make it look better. But what are they going to do with the inside to make it perform better? It's nothing like it used to be in the old days. This owner needs to take control of his business & management. The place had few people in it. I understand being searched but it felt odd. Girls walked right by but not the guys. Feels very uncomfortable in there from before. The looks you get when you walk in are very rude like you don't fit in. Workers are very rude. This place was so much better back in the day when it was packed with a variety of races. The service here was absolutely horrible. The food states it is homemade on the menu - that is the furthest thing from the true I have ever heard! They have NO options for Vegans or Vegetarians - that sucks!! The waitress was not friendly at all, Ashara (not sure about the spelling). I never realized how many Snooker's there actually are in Michigan, but I checked this one out not too long ago with a couple of friends. Of course the main purpose of this bar is the pool tables, but there were tons of circular booths around to sit and chill with some friends. Standard bar food (nachos, chicken wings, etc), but great atmosphere for a happy hour or early evening. Tons of beer (although I only drink Corona's) and of course a full bar for whatever vodka you like. This place gets really packed on a weekend, and is actually a good destination after a day of bowling at Cloverlanes (right down the street). read more

My experiences at other Snookers locations have been good, but this Snookers is primarily because of their rude night manager. Our group consisted of a couple of people who were using their (expired) groupons to pay for their food. The groupons clearly state that expired certificates can be used for "The purchase value of any goods or services then offered by the establishment". The manager insisted that it was only good for pool time which is counter to their Groupon agreement. The fact that he wouldn't read what it said, contact Groupon, or do anything other than argue, be arrogant, and rude sets a bad tone for this place. I feel sorry for the servers who have to work under him as a manager, because they were great. read more
