This is a hidden gem of a place. My family has been coming here for 15 years now. My favorite has always been the Rueben sandwich and the house French onion soup. I've never had bad service and the managers have always been friendly and happy to help the servers to make your experience special. The ambiance is old style tavern with modern conveniences the gives the rusty bucket a warm family friendly atmosphere. This last dining experience the grandson had chicken fingers and mashed potatoes, I had the Baja tacos and my son and daughter in law had the buffalo chicken sandwiches. All rated amazing. This was not my first visit but I had different items and came with a different friend. The restaurant was comfortable and the service was great. My friend had the imposter burger and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos. We were both pleased with our meals. We both had the red wine sangria which was tasty and quite a large portion. Came in for lunch. Got a margarita and some wings. The fact that Jose Cuervo Gold is $10 is outlandish to me. I ordered the $16 wings, asked for dry rub and got buffalo. The wings weren't nasty but that's not what I asked for. I was on limited time so I didn't even care to ask them to remake them. I literally watched the lady in the bathroom leave without washing her hands. She was not an employee. I just thought it was disgusting because there's no telling what she touched. Speaking of dirty, I was given a filthy plate with my wings. Definitely didn't even touch that. I'm just wondering why it was even given to me in the first place.. there's no way the bartender didn't see that ahead of time. For a $37 lunch, and that's before tip, i am disappointed. I really enjoyed this place and appreciate the service we received as well. We stopped in on a Thursday around 1pm and the bar was entity so we were able to sit down and were greeted immediately. We wanted to have w local beer as I was visiting from out of town and he was very forthcoming in proving us samples and letting us try the local brew. Sometimes bartenders don't care to give you samples but it was super nice to have him accommodate us. He even gave us a free beer for one he started pouring and then we changed our mind. Super nice of him. We ordered like a half sandwich half soup type deal. Nothing really out of this world spectacular, but I feel like if you want good service and a nice feeling restaurant around the golf course area, this spot is for you! read more

We have ordered carry out and also had a lovely evening out at the restaurant. The restaurant offers many different atmospheres in one place! It's a date nite location, or a family get together, girls/guys night out it can do all these things and not in an obnoxious over the top way. It just has the perfect balance vibe. My son loved his buffalo sandwich. I took a bite of mine and it was good,however on my second and third attempt,the chicken chewed like rubber bands. I've had chicken breasts that had the cartilage bone left in and thought ok rookie mistake. After two more bites this chicken was like rubber. I called the waitress and she apologized and reordered. Stopped in for dinner recently. Party of 8. Seated right away. Casey was our server and he was very pleasant. Had a great sense of humor and that is necessary for our group. Very patient while all of us were deciding what to order. They have a pretty decent selection of food and are known for their burgers and meatloaf. My wife and I opted for the Baja tacos and the soup and salad combo. I got the Caesar salad and tomato basil soup with the combo. Both were good and big enough for my meal. The Baja tacos are blackened mahi mahi on soft shells( that I hate) with pico de gallo, cabbage, and a avocado crema. Also comes with a side of Mexican street corn. Tacos were very good. But the street corn...wow... super hot and just way out of our taste bud zones. Could not eat any of it. But we still enjoyed our meal. Good service, good food, and good friends. I ordered a Chicken Wooden Nickel Salad for take out. Never again! The salad part was OK, albeit not much salad for the price I paid. The problem was the chicken; it was gross! It had a rubbery texture, kind of like it was raw. I paid $7 extra to have the chicken and it wasnt edible and, as you can see by the picture, the amount of chicken wasnt worth the extra money I am very disappointed. Not sure what you do to this Club sandwich but it's the best one I've ever had. Appreciate the shredded lettuce and the heavy amount of mayo and the slightly melted cheese. For delivery the fries are awful and soggy but they are great when you eat in the restaurant- I suggest getting a different side other than fries if you're getting delivery! read more

My friend Chris and I met here for lunch one day recently. She'd never been to a Rusty Bucket and she had a gift card to use. We started by sampling a White Claw beverage. We both enjoyed it and it's a less expensive alternative to a mixed drink. Chris ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. They were large breaded deep fried dill Spears. They were served with ranch and they were tasty. Plenty of pickles to share with a group of 3-4 (we didn't eat them all). For my dish, I had the buffalo chicken salad and fries. This sandwich has been a favorite of mine here for some time. To be honest, I thought it tasted different to me - maybe the breading was different. It didn't hit the spot as much as normal but it was still good! The fries were good too. My friend ordered the fish tacos and she enjoyed them. I like the atmosphere at this location. Beers and fish tacos, that's the way go at this location at least. Their fish tacos are blackened mahi with some pico de Gallo, cabbage and some avocado lime cream sauce. It's nice that their fish tacos aren't breaded. The sides are rice or fries, my husband would always opt for the carby and starchy fries of course. Fries goes with everything, right? My first and last time eating at this chain. This past weekend I thought we would try their dinner (at the 5 mile and Sheldon location) as the menu has some unique choices that I was interested in. I should add that we ordered take out. With that being said I ordered the Cincinnati 3-way that is described as buttered spaghetti, sirloin chili, sharp cheddar, tomato, white onion, sour cream and scallion. What I received was basically a cup of spaghetti with red sauce, a couple chili beans drowning in sour cream. No meat of any sort to be found and again a very small portion. My son ordered the Baja Tacos which were basically two appetizer size tacos. If you're ok paying a typical dinner price for an extremely small portion than this place is for you. I on the other hand would like to get my moneys worth and not have to add meat from my own fridge to my meal. I give it a two because the food was flavorful. I just cant get past how small the portions are and the false description of what I ordered was. read more

I went here recently for an early evening dinner. Nothing special, just wanted to grab some food with my wife. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it is really one of the best that I've ever had. Huge piece of chicken, perfectly seasoned, on a brioche bun. My wife and I got the French onion soup and it was excellent. I like this place because it's in the neighborhood, and has good food. Been here twice now and both experiences have been great. I'm usually not a chain restaurant sort of eater, but I've made an exception for this place First time I just got a drink and a quesadilla. Much bigger portion than I was expecting and the quality was great. All of it was very fresh, my drink was great and they had my whiskey which probably earned them a star itself. My friends had nothing but good things to say about the fish tacos and their burgers. What really impressed me was my second visit. Came here with the old man after a round of golf and I was HUNGRY. One thing you should know about me, I'm a pizza snob. My opinion is you should never trust to get a great pizza from a restaurant that doesn't specialize in pizza, let alone from a chain but I just had a feeling and I went for it. Sicilian pizza for me please! Great thin dough (Neopolitan thin, not crunchy cracker thin), not a puffy crust though which I prefer, well seasoned sauce, the little cuppy pepperoni's that make certain parts of my body tingle, really flavorful sausage which I think might have been fresh. It definitely wasn't those little weird balls of sausage that chain pizza places use. Caramelized peppers and onions and not an obnoxious amount of cheese like most not-pizza focused but serve pizza restaurants like to pile on. Just a really great pie all around that I won't hesitate to order the next time I visit. Well done. read more
