If the establishment had received zero stars, I would have given them that rating. This is my second visit to this establishment, but I will never return. As a traveling phlebotomist, my dog had not been groomed for six months. Upon dropping him off, the receptionist informed me that he was in an inhumane situation, which was not the case because he had recently visited the veterinarian and received medication to be groomed. Upon returning home, my dog exhibited excessive crying and remained in a state of distress. I contacted the establishment to inquire about the reason for his distress, and the individual who answered the phone informed me that she was aware of the situation, specifically the issue with his genitals. I was informed that he had matted fur under his genitals and had undergone a haircut, but I was never informed of this information when I picked him up. Subsequently, I was told that my dog's grooming neglect was my fault, and he was in an inhumane condition. This situation has already necessitated the administration of medication to my dog due to anxiety stemming from a previous negative grooming experience. Now, I am faced with the need to find an alternative groomer. Furthermore, the establishment has charged me $92, and I provided a $10 tip, which they did not deserve. The unprofessional conduct of this establishment has prompted me to consider seeking legal counsel regarding this matter. I also read a review about two months ago where a customer said her dog had been scraped raw in several places. So I know it's not because my dog was quote, unquote inhumane condition, they just had to find a reason why my dog was cut and the reason is because they are unprofessional and don't know what they are doing. read more

This is the best place that I have found that takes really good care of my babies. One of my dogs was almost strangled at another groomers that did not care! Our vet confirmed it! They should rename this place Funky Town It starts with this strong stinky odor as soon as you enter the establishment. Then not the most friendliest greeter at the desk when checking in but good customer service is hard to find these days so I over look this. Upon leaving, there is a handwritten note on the door saying to allow 5 to 6 hours for grooming .Seriously??? 5 hours later I go back up there because I never received a call. My dog is ready but I get her in the car and noticed blood was coming from her paw. They never said anything about this cut. Then I get her home and noticed her haircut is uneven, nails we clipped really rough, and still had dirt all over her belly. After a day at this place my dog was worn out. I've been sending my boys (85lbs Labradoodle & 11lbs Maltipoo) to Snoopy's for at least 7 of the 9yrs I've lived here in Fort Worth. I love the personal care they give to my dogs and my dogs LOVE coming. It's not just my dogs but others that I see when I come to drop off or pick-up. Its the personal care for me. What I LOVE most is their experience, expertise, professional recommendation they have on pet care. Tyhanna & Heather love what they do and have loads of knowledge! My Labradoodle is 13yrs old this year, they've kept me posted with things that I may have overlooked concerning his behavior/eating/urine patterns. (I board and groom my dogs here). Unless your pet is used to a kennel/cage 22 hours a day, do not bring them here. Our dogs are professional boarders - we travel for work and they have been boarded at multiple places, always with lots of compliments from staff. We just moved to Texas and found Snoopys. Our dogs were there for 9 days. They're kept in cages (which they will tell you) but we had no idea for how long. They're only let out twice a day. Our dogs have been home for a day and have been skittish, one won't eat (has never happened), one has a cut on her nose, and both have peed in the house which they haven't done for years. They usually love going to boarding because of being around other animals and we are used to places who give our pups lots of love. Definitely did not happen here. The staff is not friendly or welcoming. I had hesitation after drop off but talked myself out of it. At pick up, still same demeanor. They were supposed to be bathed and we were told they forgot. We noticed they wrote in sharpie on our dogs items and spelled their names wrong. This shows lack of care. Even after returning my call to discuss concerns, they showed no compassion. In the future I will pay more money at a different place to make sure my dogs are treated well. read more

They cut up my dog. He was covered from head to toe in cuts. The inside of his left leg was the most notable one. Along with the inside of his ears and next to his left eye. I wouldn't go back here if you paid me. They also wouldn't let me see my dog till after I had paid. If I had saw what they did I wouldn't have paid a cent. They didn't listen to the haircut I wanted and the one my dog got wasn't even even, his ear hairs aren't even the same length. They traumatized my dog, he was skittish and fearful of ME for two days. I boarded my dog at Snoopy's for five days in September. In addition to boarding I also paid for him to be groomed. When I picked my dog up, a small portion of my dog's skin was missing from his nose and he had a rounded cut or abrasion that was scabbed over area on his chest. There was also a noticeable change in his behavior. He had the runs (diarrhea) for two days and for four-five days after returning home from Snoopy's he was moping around and acting sad. He was also being extraordinarily clingy. I found it highly suspect that so much had changed about him in that short amount of time. I board my dog frequently and since 2009 I have used the same kennel. In recent months I moved to another city, so my dogs vet and kennel is over 40 minutes away. I chose Snoopy's Dog House because of its proximity to my house and its price (since it is comparable to what I pay to board him at his vets). I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and will never use them again. I also voiced my concerns with the owner of the company and although he did apologize and offer a free nights stay, for furture use he repeatedly placed blame on me for my dog's change in behavior. He blamed the missing skin on his nose from my dog pushing a water or food bowl around or rubbing it on the kennel. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. Beware!!!! From here on out I plan on driving 40 minutes out of my way to continue boarding my dog, at his vet's office. I highly recommend Dr. Gully's in Arlington, Texas. read more

They groomed my dog and he got a staff infection afterwards from what I'm assuming to be unsanitary tools and products. My dog lost all his hair on his body and now looks like one of those naked cats. He's still cute, but you guys are lucky we didn't take any further actions. They were very nice. They did a great grooming job on my Shih-Tzu. I don't know why people were complaining about the time it took to groom. If you get your pet groomed normally by a very good groomer, it sometimes takes a longer time, especially if the groomer is popular and has a lot of clients. Most people bring their dogs in before they go to work at opening time. If you do that, you should expect a longer grooming time. They told me that they loved my dog and he was very calm during grooming. I trust them and will be using them as my new groomer from now on. He won't stay still for a photo but I'll add one later. read more

I will never take my dog there again. They had him for several hours. When I went to pick him up she said he was hard to handle. He is a good boy. He is very friendly. I got him home and noticed his face was cut unevenly. I took him back up there for them to correct it. She told me the reason he was like that is because he wouldn't be still. I am sure that's true but I know they have ways to handle dogs. I have seen them put him in a harness at another place so he was still. I love Snoopy's! They always get us in same day. Yesterday my husband took our golden retriever in and the customer service was even better than usual! They did a great job, got her done quicker than usual, and always charge less than competitors for more services! We drive all the way from White Settlement. She comes back in a good mood out of the time! I will note, sometimes the customer service was questionable. Once I brought her home and she drank so much water and didn't feel well. I took my two large pups here for a groom and was super impressed they could get them in same day (especially since it was a week before the holidays) I liked dropping them off and running errands, too, at no additional charge! Drop off was easy, they followed instructions and my dogs looked wonderful. My only feedback is I didn't fill out any paperwork-- I was slightly worried about my Australian shepherd as she can be a bit of a sassy pants and is also nervous around strangers. I was hoping for some feedback on how she did but I guess no feedback is good, right? At least I hope. I was more worried about the person bathing her than her, though! My dog was in a kennel with an empty food/water bowl. I was not going to leave him there and he peed all over the floor before we could get outside because he hadn't been taken out in so long. The lady who runs the front desk called and accused me of theft and breaking/entering on my voice mail. I went in the next day to pay after speaking with the owner and no apology was ever given. First time ever using this business for dog grooming. Brought both of our dogs in @ 9:30am and when I came at 5 which is when they told us they closed and we needed to pick up by and I was greeted by a very hateful and unprofessional employee that acted like she didn't know where they were so I pointed on the list which ones they were and she said I know hold on. After going to the back she comes and tells me they aren't finished and when I questioned why not she said that's how all dog grooming business are .... Never have we taken our dogs to a place that took 6 hrs to complete a grooming service !! Get to the car and both of our dogs has poop all over their butts .... We will never board our pets here again. The first time we brought our lab, they never asked for vaccine records. I brought them and was told by the lady at the front desk, she didn't need to see them. The last time we brought our dog, he caught kennel cough. We decided to use our vet the last few times we were away. Unfortunately, our vet was full this past week so we decided to give Snoopy's another try. They did ask for their records this time though. We now have 2 labs and had to provide food for each since one is still on puppy food. We were gone for 6 days, 5 1/2 since I fed them breakfast the day we brought them in. My husband went to pick them up yesterday, 6/16, and discovered both our dogs were not fed properly. Instructions were written on each food container showing how much and how many times to feed both dogs. They obviously didn't feed them daily based on how much food we got back. Their excuse, dogs eat differently when they are kenneled. We've never had issues of them eating less and every time we received their food containers back, they were empty or almost empty. No one called us to inform of any issues and no one took accountability. We still had to pay full price and our dogs starved! They have a horrible business practice and we will never use them again. I posted my complaint on their Facebook page but they deleted the post. read more
