Soooo good! The hubby and I wanted to try a new place for breakfast and Snooze did not disappoint. We added ourselves to the waitlist before arriving and waited about 15 minutes when we arrived. We ordered the spicy Bloody Mary and morning Margarita. Both were very refreshing with just the right amount of spice. Such a good choice before the meal came. I ordered the OMG French Toast with a side of chorizo sausage. The French Toast tasted like little glazed donuts packed with flavor. They were seriously one of the best French Toast I've ever eaten. The chorizo sausage...I'll take 6 more of those to go please and thank you. So full of flavor! My hubby ordered the Chili Verde Benedict with Barbacoa meat. He absolutely loved it. I love Snooze and have been a long time patron. This was my first time at this location. We came in on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was slammed, which I always love to see. We were able to snag a table right away but took a little bit for someone to come over which is no big deal. We had ordered a mocha which didn't make its way to us until after our food arrived and we asked about it. Regardless, the food is the star of the show! I had gotten the corned beef hash and a sweet potato pancake. As always, my food quality was outstanding! Pancake was perfectly cooked and topped, and the corned beef hash and eggs were spot on. Other food not photographed was an omelette thats quality was lacking a bit (very burn bacon in it). Overall, it was a good experience outside of the few service issues and food quality. This was my first time stopping by at Snooze and I absolutely loved the food. I wasn't a fan of the drinks we ordered, which is fine. My boyfriend loved it and ended up finishing mine for me. I definitely would recommend stopping by whenever you are in the Tempe area. They had a lot of amazing food options for people who are vegan or vegetarian, which is great for people with dietary restrictions. Tried a new place today while I was in the area. I went to one of their locations about 2-3 years ago and couldn't remember what I had but when I looked at the menu I quickly remembered. Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes! I remembered them being pretty good. But this time I got the shrimp and grits. It was pretty tasty. Just left this establishment due to the service. My dad and I walked in and were sat immediately, the waitress came by and my dad was very hungry and wanted to order. The waitress cut him off and said she was "only coming over to grab our drinks and she had another table to get to." It was very rude and dismissive. We had the same waitress, only today she was not attentive - she was nice- but I had to flag her down for coffee refills twice and the coffee was cold. Extremely, extremely disappointed with my experience here. I go to Snooze all the time for brunch but this was my first experience at this location. We were told it'd be a 30 min wait. At 35 minutes, we checked back in and were told it'd be an additional 15-20 minutes. After waiting a total of over an hour, we were then told it was going to be 30 more minutes. Here's the truth. The food was good. Actually very good. The service was also good. But the wait protocol was horrible. We arrived and were told a 45-minute wait. No problem, it's Saturday morning and we expect a wait. After one hour, we inquired about our wait time, and we were told they were waiting for 4-6 parties who hadn't yet responded to their Yelp Welcome. Wait. What? If you aren't here, you aren't here. We waited another 20 minutes and those parties NEVER showed up. I get Yelp Wait. I really do. But people - PLEASE show up for your time, because that extra 40 minute wait made us all VERY hangry. We came here for brunch with a group of friends this past Saturday and had a wonderful time! I ordered the "Smashed Avocado Benny" and my husband had the "Signature Pancake Flight" with a Strawberry Shortcake pancake, chocolate chip pancake, & blueberry danish pancake. Both of our meals were excellent! All of the pancakes were very flavorful-but be warned, the blueberry Danish pancake is VERY rich! It is delicious, but rich & filling. My eggs Benedict were plated beautifully & the Hollandaise sauce was some of the best I've had. I do feel however that their side dishes are a little pricey if you are looking to add anything to your meal. Overall though, I feel that the entrees were fairly priced! To anyone in the management team and future guests, I have been to this location numerous times with my boyfriend and after visiting others we continue to frequent this location because of how friendly each member of the staff is. Usually we sit at the bar and have never been disappointed with the service, it's the only hot mocha I'll drink (die hard iced coffee girl here) and the menu is so clear and delicious. I am making sure to write my review today because I decided to take myself out for a solo breakfast today forgetting it was the Super Bowl and the restaurant was insanely busy. Hosts and greeters Mady and Ava were more than holding it down with their friendly demeanor and their honesty with the wait time. I personally didn't mind being seated wherever and they did check the bar for me a couple times but I was ultimately seated with server Tai and what an experience. Her and I remarked on how simple conversations and pleasantries seem to be difficult to find and it's nice to thank those who still carry basic kindness. As someone who planned on keeping my head down and headphones in, I just wanted some of the best hashbrowns and coffee, I came in looking to get in and out and these ladies ensured that even though I was there for a bit longer (it's literally the Super Bowl so my mistake there haha) I enjoyed every minute and hope they have some more guests that appreciate how hard they work. read more

Decided to do brunch while we were in the area. Never tried this place but it has 4 stars so we gave it a try. Got seated immediately which was great at noon. First thing we noticed was the dirty knife. Ok no worries and asked for a clean knife. Ordered the corned beef hash with a Coke and my boyfriend ordered the Snooze Classic. The waitress brings my soda and explains that it's really not a Coke. That would have been good to know when I asked for a Coke but she said if I didn't like the cola she'd bring me something else. My bad for not seeing actual Coke on the menu. I tasted it and yuck! Horrible taste so she brought me a lemonade. Food came fast by a different person. They placed my boyfriend's food in front of me and when I said I had the other plate she gave me an annoyed look and changed the plates. Not I'm sorry but a look of annoyance. We both ordered eggs sunny side up and they were raw and runny. The corned beef hash was potato's with a couple chunks of corned beef and it had a burnt flavor. Sourdough toast with jelly was on the plate. Barely enough jelly to put on the single slice of bread. I used my boyfriends too. Terrible food and service was fair at best with the added annoyance look from the server that delivered our food. Bad experience all the way around. We did our bill and left with my food that I couldn't even eat. My boyfriend tried to reheat and doctor it up today and couldn't do anything to make it better. We will not be back. read more

I wanted to update my review to reflect what is currently happening in our communities- as in the shutdown of dine-in during Covid-19. I was craving breakfast and decided to jump onto their website and order some eats! The order process is very simple and streamlined to take all your information from name, email address, phone # (to contact you) and payment options (you can pay online or at the store- I opted to pay online). They even text you as soon as your meal is ready! This part I really want to emphasize- when I came to the door I was asked by a person in mask and gloves my name. She then went back and grabbed my bag of food and secured it closed with tape- so I would know that no one had been in it besides them placing it in the bag and then myself to open at home. So great. During these crazy times it was so nice to go somewhere to get a cheery greeting, impeccable service and still their same quality food. We had a party of 4 on Monday morning at 10, it wasn't crowded. The visit started poorly with a rude hostess, my "good morning" greeting was met with a blank look. It took an hour for basic food (no substitutions or anything crazy) to come out and many dishes were cold. My friend ordered French toast and a side of eggs, the eggs were freezing and inedible. I was surprised to hear that this is here as it's newer along with a nail shop next door and other businesses that are conveniently located. Snooze is a very popular & hip breakfast spot that a lot of people seem to be obsessed with. I've been a handful of times to try their seasonal pancakes and I really do love the breakfast tacos. However, the wait times can get ridiculous and the food & service can be hit or miss. Their drip coffee is pretty standard, nothing special and the alcoholic drinks have never tasted quite right to me. Chunky Bloody Mary mix is a big no for me! Also, if you drink more than one glass of water with your meal ask for an extra one at the beginning because we have never had a server refill our water on any occasion. My husband usually gets a standard breakfast of eggs, sausage and potatoes and I get the breakfast tacos with chicken sausage and jalapeños. The green chili holandaise sauce on the tacos is delicious! We have tried the breakfast pot pie and it was ok, not enough gravy to go with the pastry. In my opinion Snooze is overpriced (but then again what breakfast place isn't?) The service is very rushed and the servers aren't very personable or friendly. I got the Spuds Deluxe, which is hash browns with cheese, along with eggs and 2 toppings. I chose poached eggs, bacon, and chicken sausage. It was SO good and very filling. I did not need to eat it all, but I did anyway. I would definitely recommend this dish, especially with meats as your toppings because I think it's a better deal that way. And there's more flavor. I paired my meal with a Mmm Mmm Mimosa, which is a regular mimosa with pomegranate liqueur. We were able to split our check using the tablet given to our table at the end. Each person just selects the items they got and pays right at the table before passing it along to the next person. It's very straightforward and it makes it easier for the server. This location is very convenient as it's right off the I-10 and it's in a large shopping plaza so there's plenty of free parking.
