First time, but not the last time coming to Lush Cafe this evening. After a long day of work and a…read morenot so fun birthday week the welcoming and relaxed environment of Lush was so welcomed! I came to check out Ear Candy and celebrate my birthday and got so much more! The vibe waa so positive and welcoming--from the door staff, to the bartenders, the owners and other guests, it was just an amazing and positive vibe. I stayed literally until they were putting up chairs as I wanted to listen to the band and DJ more! If you are looking for a fun and relaxing way to end your week this is the spot! The drinks are amazing and unfortunately I did not get to try the food, but it looked amazing! I met some wonderful people and I can't wait to come back here!

So let's talk about The Lush Café…read more Where do I even begin? First of all, why does the place-show-order system move faster than I can blink? I barely had time to decide if I wanted fries or to change my mind about life. Slow down. Let me breathe. Then the food came out like it was in a relay race -- piece by piece. One plate here. Ten minutes later, another plate. By the time everything arrived, somebody at the table was done eating. Are we sharing or are we time traveling? Now let's get into the finances. A $30 deposit? Okay, cool -- I actually don't hate that idea. But the automatic 20% gratuity per person? Ohhh okay. So we tipping whether service is good, bad, or spiritually absent? Got it. Because once that 20% is secured, apparently so is the effort. No check-backs. No "How's everything tasting?" Just vibes and a bill. And if you don't like something? Don't expect a redo, a swap, or even a concerned eyebrow raise. You'll get a look, maybe a shrug, and then here's your receipt. Let's talk about the water. Plastic cups. Not filtered. Just straight "hydration but make it questionable." The band? Whew. They need acoustic panels, insulation, something. Because that bass was fighting for its life. It wasn't giving live music -- it was giving "speaker in distress." The food? The fish was salty. The crab legs were salty. If I wanted that much sodium, I'd go lick the ocean. Seasoning is cute. Over-seasoning is aggressive. There's a broken chair sitting in front of a beautiful picture wall like it's part of the aesthetic. Is it décor? Is it a test? Are we supposed to risk it for the photo? Now let me be fair. The BEST things in the whole place? * The one photo room -- beautifully lit. 10/10 for selfies. * And the cute white guy bartender. Yes. You, sir. You were the highlight of the establishment. Other than that? The Lush Café is more "Lush Vibes, Low Effort." It's cute for pictures. It's cute for the aesthetic. But if you're going for service and balanced seasoning... you might leave a little salty too. Would I go back? For photos and eye candy at the bar... maybe. For the food and service? Let's just say I'm not rushing. P.S that free birthday shot

This review is long overdue…read more After drinks and bites at The Living Room on Saturday, May 6, 2017, Rachel took Allen, David and me to THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN for more alcoholic beverages. Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. After easily finding parking in walking distance from the entrance, we arrived shortly before midnight of the 7th. They were closing soon, but we had enough time to order a round of craftly-made cocktails and beers to down quickly. It helps when your friend knows the bartender. Enter smiley face emoji here. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return. If/when I do, I will mos def drop by THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN again!

There is a parking lot and indoor/outdoor seating. I love the decor and ambiance of this place, especially the lighting in the dining room. They have a separate area with a small shop and cafe with desserts and some grab and go items. I will be back to try a coffee! My friend and I came here for the pre-set restaurant week menu. I made a reservation the night before, but it wasn't too busy while we were there on a Tuesday at 530pm. Our server Allison was great and very attentive. For appetizers we tried the whipped goat cheese spread and wagyu meatballs. I thought the goat cheese spread was delicious! For entrees we choose the pasta pomodoro and the farmers market pizza which were both very tasty. The pizza had so much flavor l, especially the crust, and the texture of the pasta was perfect!! For dessert we tried the affogato and apricot cheesecake. Oh My Gosh that cheesecake was the BEST dessert I've had in a while!!!! You have to try it and I can't recommend it enough!!!! I can't wait to come back!!

This place usually has living room likes seating areas, but they will move out of the way to accommodate the large Cousin Eddie RV area. There were lots of lights everywhere and a fireplace with a large nutcracker next to the bar. It's a very clever that they added ugly Christmas sweaters to the chairs at the bar and high top tables. So cute! They also have two outdoor patios with couches and tables. We ordered a couple of cocktails off the Christmas menu. I order the "Clark's Nipply Egg Nog" and my son ordered the "It's a Good Old Fashioned Family Christmas." I didn't try his because I do not like bourbon but he reports it was very good. And I did love my eggnog drink. For food, my son ordered off of The Omelette bar. You fill out the little form check mark in exactly what you want in your omelette and what you want for the side. I ordered the chopped salad, which is what I've ordered here before and absolutely love. It comes with chopped salami and cheese which make it absolutely yummy. We arrived early by the time you left the place was starting to fill up. I'll continue to come here because I just love that chopped salad, but I think everything that we've had here has been delicious.

Great spot for a date night or to kick it with friends. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start and it had a good flavor. Comes with a good portion of chips on the side. Shareable between a party of 2 (maybe 3 at most). We both ordered the wagyu chuck burger and I went with the sweet potato waffle fries. Good choice. Overall the Happy Hour drinks were good but I do think they lacked alcohol. Not sure if it's bc they were off the HH menu but they were on the lighter side. I enjoyed the James Brown and the Mango Tamarind Mule. Looking forward to my next visit.
