Check-in and check-out were a HOT MESS. The girl who checked me in tried to put my cc into the machine while I was actively reading the rate sheet that I had not signed yet! She literally walked around the desk with my cc in her hand and tried to put it in the machine before I realized what she was doing and told her to stop. Who are you to charge my card without asking?? She acted all shocked when I told her to stop, also! Then she told me that I had to park my car on the fourth floor?! When I asked if there was a parking garage (since she told me to park on the 4th floor and I didn't see one), she said "no" and that she "isn't explaining it well because I am new here." That was NOT the problem. She took so long trying to check me in that my husband had the entire car unloaded onto a luggage cart (for a 9-day trip with a 5-year old) and THEN she tells me that we have to drive around the building and that you can't get to the elevator from the front door. WHAT?? The pool was a nice feature and we enjoyed the s'mores. The room was comfortable and clean. Bummer that there is no breakfast provided for over $400 a night - egregious cost! The front desk agent at checkout was alone and I stood in line for a good 20 minutes trying to check out. There were only 3 guests in front of me. He was flustered and blaming the computer. We stayed at the Snow King Hotel for two night, during our visit of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton NP. The hotel is really nice and the room was super comfy. Great amenities, very clean, very friendly & professional staff, free parking and a great location. From the hotel, it's just a 15 minute walk into the town center. A three minute walk from the hotel is a really nice brewery restaurant (Stillwest) that also has a great coffee shop. At a six minute drive from the hotel you'll find a Whole Foods and an Albertson's. It's also just a few minutes by car to the road that leads to the Grand Teton NP. We visited outside of the ski season, but the hotel has its own slopes when you walk out the door. The next time we're in Jackson Hole, we will certainly stay here again. read more

Where my card was supposed to be held for incidentals. This is insane. People don't just have bank accounts for holds of over 500 dollars an account! The woman at the front desk said they don't have control over how much money comes out for holds. That is fine but holds on both cards for a total of almost 1000 dollars is absolute shit! I wish you could do zero stars as they are not worthy of 1. I bought 2 tickets for the ropes course for $171.00 for 10:30 AM. We arrive at 10:25 and they said we already missed the 10:30 one we can do the 11:30. That would not work in our plans as the course takes 2 hours and we have to be somewhere at 1:15. The restaurant has so much potential, great view and atmosphere. The food on the other hand, is terrible. I didn't think you could mess up a french dip sandwich or pasta, but they managed to do so. The french dip was some sort of shaved beef that was completely dry, with matching roll. The au jus was way over salted. The service was slow and they have the nerve to add a mandatory 20% service charge, for what, I have no idea. Awful lack of common sense and security! My husband stayed here for one night with the sole purpose of distancing himself from his toxic sister and the man at the front counter gave his sister a key to his F#%*ing room! His sister AND HER FRIEND proceeded to enter the room at 1 am and throw items at my husband until he woke up and they began to argue. My husband had to physically remove his sister from the room after asking her to leave several times and she attacked him leave marks on my husband! All of this happened to my husband because of this hotel workers lack of common sense and security training! Just because she had the same last name she was given access to my husband's room, she could have been an ex wife with a knife there to murder him. Was happy to find a deal and was able to book my family into the SNOW KING RESORT for Memorial Weekend. The cost of the hotel was roughly $200/night and I got a room with 2 Queen beds in it. I made my reservation on Hotels.com and already knew about the $35 resort fee that will be charged at the time of my visit. So no hidden surprises. I have read some reviews somewhere that people were complaining about parking fees and having to hike up the hill, but that is not the case for me. Parking was free and even though they is a small slope to the registration area, you are not hiking up a mountain in order to check in. That is pure exaggeration. As for the room, it is not top notch, but it was clean and spacious. I especially enjoyed the small patio that I can go out and breath in some fresh air when needed. Even though I brought my bathing suit, the pool and hot tub did not look too inviting to me. There were just too small for my liking. The perks of staying here at this resort is that the staff were friendly and was very helpful. Room reservation also came with free WIFI and a bottle of water for the guests. Would highly recommend this resort for those flying in Jackson Hole during the winter and will be skiing/snowboarding at Snow King, because the resort is just right next to the lifts. My parents and I arrived around 10pm. We had reservations for 4 nights. The resort is a big place (obviously) so in the dark it was hard to navigate to find our condo. Once we did, we had our own parking spot in a covered garage. There is no elevators so you will be carrying luggage upstairs. Once we got to the room, it was dirty. There was dust balls on the floor, a empty beer can and water bottle under the couch, and the Murphy bed was dirty. This was a huge inconvenience because we had already unpacked our luggage and took it upstairs. Not to mention my dad is disabled. When I went back to the front desk they were willing to refund all fees and charges. But now at 11pm after driving for 12 hours we have to find somewhere else to stay. Later they give us the house keeper room and said it is inspected, but when we see the room, the bedsheet is unchanged with some remaining fruit in the refrigerator. The service response is very slow due to the waiting people. When we are finally settled down, it is already 12pm. After we slept in the house keeper room, the other morning, the stuff from toilets flushed into bath tub. It is so disgusting. The plumber come and say they suggest us go out because of the smell will be bad. However, the bathroom is even more disgusting, and the room is kept open! After we keep complaining to the front desk, we finally got a new room which we are supposed to stay by our reservation. The hotel keeps us staying unlivable room while let other customers from some airline conference check-in is unacceptable! Just finished a 10 day stay in the grand view luxury condominiums. 1. Wanted to acknowledge Greg at the front desk who went above and beyond with his service helping us with a package delivery issue. We travel a lot and don't usually find front desk employees to be this level of helpful. 2. We loved our stay in the condo. View from the balcony was gorgeous with lots of great light. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with supplies. The condo was well cleaned and the furniture was high quality. They have lied and said they mailed a check multiple times and after a month of not receiving the check, they have stopped answering any of our phone calls/emails. Our experience at the Snow King completely ruined our anniversary trip. Our first encounter with the woman at the front desk after driving all day completely set the mood for the entire stay. She was rude, and couldn't care less about our needs. We get to our room and although the rooms look very attractive, what do we find? Hair in the shower, ick. An A/C unit that was completely off its rocker, we couldn't keep the room at a decent temperature the entire time we were there. Our $65 hotel room in Rock Springs had more amenities then our $200+/night stay at the Snow King. No ice on our floor, no microwave, no coffee maker -- like what? They even patronized us by leaving us coffee pods and hot cups. Lastly, the restaurant in the hotel was a complete joke. $78 for dinner and we had to wait for an hour and a half after being told it would be up in 30 minutes. By the time it arrived all we were left with was a mediocre over priced meal. Believe me, I was ready to turn my keys in and see that place in our rear view mirror. 100% disappointment ‼ Never had such a bad experience and I stayed at Motel 6 where I had no expectations. We have checked in with 3 different women. They were keep passing to each other our ID and credit card and continuing from where the other ones left off( at least this is how it looked like). I have asked about the package( breakfast was included) that is advertised on their fb and instagram profile and they said it doesn't apply to us because we have booked with Expedia which was cheaper unless we had booked directly with them($$$). We have stayed at the Snow King at least a dozen times. We like the shuttle to and from the airport and to Teton Village. It's so convenient. We love the hot tub too. The rooms are really nice especially for the cost. It's too bad Hayden's post is only open until 10 now. Covid hours. The main complaint we had was with the front desk. They were so unhelpful and downright unfriendly. One gal I think her name is Abigail was the worst. There may be a language barrier with others. Reviews for this resort is way better on TripAdvisor than on Yelp but Yelp is more reliable after my stay this past weekend. I knew we were going to be charged a daily resort fee of $35 but I did not know what they include until I was checked in. Many of the things they charge for resort fee are included in other chain hotels such as water, free wifi, fitness facility, hot tub, outdoor pool, parking, and water. Keep in mind these chain hotels also have microwave, complimentary breakfast but this place does not provide. read more

I booked this place through Orbitz and assumed I would be getting a room with a single king size bed. When I checked in they told me I have a condo. That's a deal compared to all other places I was looking at for the price. The place is older but everything has been kept up nicely. They didn't stock some of the main items in the bathroom so we had to call to get them to bring it up. The coffee maker still had old coffee in it and most of the cups have major coffee stains. They do supply the kitchen with cooking utensils but nothing else. They could have a soap dispenser in the kitchen at least.. There's no directions or the TV and remotes and our room you have one main remote that goes between rooms to control the cable with others to control sound and movies. There's plenty of space in the unit you can store mountain bikes and have blow up beds if you have more people. This place did have a pullout bed in the living room. It has a laundry room too! The beauty with this type of place is you can buy groceries (they have several grocery stores nearby Albertsons or Smiths) and make your own meals. They don't have any extra bedding, but I'm sure you can call and ask or if you're driving you can bring your own. You do have a parking place in the garage space under the condo units. It's close to a lot of restaurants that you can walk to. There's bikes around town you can rent but the closet parking for them at the lodge is down a block. There is a pool at the main lodge, which is a little trek to get to from some of the condos. There is a cleaning fee you get charged once you leave and you have to haul your garage out to the garage when you check out. We stayed an extra night night and it took two hours to get it rebooked and they made us move rooms. They also said that we'd be waved the fees but when I checked out this morning they were going to charge us. Another frustration because it was supposed be noted. Not to mention the cleaning people were at our door at 9:30 this morning. And sitting there when we walked out at 10:30. They were very kind, but it made me feel very rushed as I was getting ready to leave. read more

Customer service is questionable... the lady checking me in kept whispering to the other employees at the desk. She never made eye contact with me, and barely said anything to me. I'm checking in at 8:27pm after a 5hour drive and the room is dirty... towels all over the bathroom and one of the beds, previous guest keys by the tv. I know this happens from time to time, so no big deal go back to the desk and get another room... again this whispering between employees happens, no one seems to know what to do... so I asked for a different room... but nope, I'll have to wait for that one to be cleaned. Ok ok, get ready for a legit novel, because that is what it is going to take to get my honest review across. Me and my friends decided to head to Jackson for a quick little ski trip! We decided to stay somewhere close to town because it was cheaper than staying in teton village in addition to being close to good restaurants. We all decided to stay at the Snow King because the pictures looked great. When we originally checked-in we were assigned to stay at what is known at the "Pitchfork Condominiums." The 3-bedroom unit was quite dirty and nothing like the pictures that were on the website. We had no idea that "pitchfork" was even part of the Snow King complex. At pitchfork, the lights to the unit didn't work, the unit was severely outdated, mold was in the shower, and the ceiling looked like it was collapsing in the bathroom. We were not comfortable staying there. If the story ended there, this place would receive a one star review for sure...But fortunately the front desk staff was great. We went back to the lobby and told them our story, and they immediately upgraded us to their super nice 3-bedroom unit. We were so happy with the upgrade and that the staff was so willing to help us out. The room was well equipped with comfortable bedding, a nice kitchen, nice bathrooms etc. The only problem was that there were only 2 cereal bowls in the place. Also, the hot tub was all the way back in the main complex. That would have required us to drive back to use it. Overall, it was a good place, but beware that they might put you in the "pitchfork." If we would have ended up there, there most certainly would have been real pitchforks...from us rioting in the streets. Also, the hot tub is far away. read more

I would not recommend this place. The staff is friendly but for what you're paying for it's not worth it. The resort has so much carpet (not in the rooms) that look worn and smell. The 4th floor smells like a box of crayons. The carpets in the room did not look clean to me. The rooms are small. You pay for everything not even breakfast is provided unless you pay. The activities around the resort will cost you an arm and leg and are not worth it. There is so much construction happening around that they need to close the place and then do renovations. While at the pool a guy was sanding the deck. So paint dust was going into the pool while my kids were swimming. I don't understand how they can charge so much for everything and it's not worth what you're paying for. Again the staff is super friendly but I would not come back to this place. If you are going to have a resort make sure it feels clean, not just in the lobby but everywhere. Your carpets seriously need to go, the ones in the hallway to get to the elevator. If anyone is trying to reserve tickets in advance, you will be misguided, misdirected and at sea. If one arrives at Snow King, there is no sign directing a guest as to where one buys tickets; it is a small hut set in the middle of the area. I had hoped to pre-buy tickets for a large group, but was told by the woman manning the desk that I could only buy tickets for that day, so I should go to guest services. I went to guest services which is a distance away, and was told that I needed waivers for all twenty family members before I could buy tickets. (One has to know all birthdates of the guests) I was told that I should contact another party, Sidney, to help me with organizing for a large group. I was given the address Sidney@gmail, which clearly did not work. I called Snow King's number and was told that Sidney was spelled with a Y as in Sydney and to try that, which also went to Mailer Daemon. I finally went on the website and found what I think might be a correct address, sent an email, and have not gotten a response. Snow KIng is like a temporary state fair where organization is totally dubious, no one seems trained for the job, and though set up as an amazingly fun experience, doesn't have a clue about how to run such a complicated operation. read more

Our family booked this resort for our family reunion of 15+ family groups over 2 years ago and pushed out due to covid. When booking a 3 bedroom condo of over $700 a night we requested pack and plays for rooms with young children. Something you'd expect of a "resort", we confirmed a week before arrival that there would be pack and plays or we would bring our own. Remember pack and plays are used to help a baby sleep. The poor front desk employee was not empowered to make this right for their guests. As a person who used to work at Disney World these things are easy, just delight the guest. I suggested that I go buy a pack and play and get reimbursed for the cost. The manager said only up to $50 as that is how much it costs Snow King. When I called the manager he complained that it was his day off and that he'd try to go to the resort to help me. When pressed about an extra room or a night for free he said that was not an option. At this price point per night I would suggest go stay anywhere else. The resort seems to be "nice" yet the poor front line staff is not empowered to delight guests and the management is not willing to support guests needs when the resort had already committed. Nestled at the edge of the Bridger-Teton National Forest and the base of Snow King Mountain, Snow King Resort is located near historic downtown Jackson. The rustic resort is located near two of America's most beloved national parks - Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The resort is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. It offers traditional western ambiance, inspired campfire cuisine and a great location. As you can see from my pics spacious and stylish accommodations are provided. When I arrived early around 2pm I was able to smoothly check into my room 451, which only cost $117 or $138 with all fees because I was here for a conference on business. I was pleased with the location of my room on the 4th floor with a view overlooking the outdoor pool and hot tub. The only downside to my view was some building construction going on below the view of my window. Parking is complimentary. My early morning check-out was also efficient. They also provide shuttle service to and from the airport. read more

Snow King Resort is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and the staff I interacted with were pleasant. Our trip was ruined once I realized my purse had been stolen out of my room. Of course this was reported to the manager. The manager took a long time to do research as to who or when this could have been stolen and to try and locate the purse. My contact with the resort was daily for over a week before I received any information. Of course no purse was uncovered and no retribution offered for my loss.
