The rustic resort is located near two of America's most beloved national parks - Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The resort is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. It offers traditional western ambiance, inspired campfire cuisine and a great location. As you can see from my pics spacious and stylish accommodations are provided. When I arrived early around 2pm I was able to smoothly check into my room 451, which only cost $117 or $138 with all fees because I was here for a conference on business. I was pleased with the location of my room on the 4th floor with a view overlooking the outdoor pool and hot tub. The only downside to my view was some building construction going on below the view of my window. Parking is complimentary. My early morning check-out was also efficient. We had a room block here for our wedding and overall had a very positive experience. Some room hiccups at first with rooms being different than what was reserved, but Jeannette at the front desk was truly amazing and helped myself and a couple guests straighten that out right away. I cannot speak highly enough of Jeannette, she deserves a promotion for sure! They accommodated for early check in as best they could. Rooms were clean, highly recommend the suite as it is very spacious and if you are lucky and get the one with the outdoor area it is perfect if you have a pet. The restaurant at the hotel, Hayden's post had delicious food, but they were short staffed so took a bit longer. Staff super friendly too! Pool/ hot tub area was nice. Liked having all of the activities on site like mini golf, alpine and coaster, etc. Great views of Snow King Mountain and super convenient location so close to everything. Stayed for4 nights while skiing Jackson Hole. Beds were comfortable, however only one size of pillows. (thick). Rooms were clean and housekeeping was very responsive, in bringing us extra towels. The coffee bar next to the lobby was great, I wanted to like the he breakfast buffet as I am all about convenience, however adding a service fee and an automatic 20% tip seemed excessive. ($50 for 2 was a lot, especially for a basic offering). I did appreciate the free shuttle and ease of booking it online, the free s'mores bar on Wednesday was a nice treat. read more

This hotel was decent and nice, maybe pricey for what it is but not for the area. This is right at the base of the mountain. The decor is rustic but nice, and the rooms are comfortable. There were very few outlets, and there was a lot of stuff plugged into a surge protector behind the TV, which had another surge protector plugged into it. Doesn't seem too safe. Anyway, maybe it's by comparison to some Super 8s, cabins, and a covered wagon we stayed in on this trip, but Snow King was super comfortable to me! They also have a shuttle that will take you downtown for food and shopping. read more

I think this Hotel has an appropriate rating. We booked this Hotel on hotels.com, and for 1 room, it said something like $110/night, which sounded great. Then, once we were checking out, it added a $100 resort fee! It ended up being $340 for a 2 night stay. The room was nice and we didn't have any problems, but this is not a resort, and I have no idea where they justify the $100 resort fee. From was we researched, the fee covered the pool and hot tub (which are kinda a given in my opinion,) plus a shuttle that goes to and from the airport and Teton village. Also, when booking online, we requested a king bed instead of two-queens. I later got an email saying that they have approved my request for a king bed, but once we got there they had us in a two-queen room. They were nice about switching it, but it was pretty annoying. The service wasn't great, and the pool was nothing special. I also appreciated how close it is to downtown jackson (less than a mile!) It makes it easy to get to town quickly if you want to get a bite to eat or go shopping. It also is about 20-30 minutes from Teton Village and the national park, which was very convenient. One fun little tidbit is we could see the grand Tetons from our window! (only for about 20 minutes on a clear day) that was super cool! This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed. The place was extremely dirty and lack of staff. The service was non-existent and you should be shameful. I would need 10-pages to discuss how bad the serices and no service to clean the rooms. I understand Covid and some people would not want their room cleaned but you took that option away by NOT cleaning the rooms at all and we were there 9 days. I travel a lot and not one hotel ever stopped service completely. What a disgrace. There is NO bell hop and when you check in there are NO carts to take all your bags to your room. Hence you have ski bags as this is a ski resort. The restaurant was a complete joke which each meal took 45-1 hour to get food each time we ate. Again lack of staff. The car service was a joke and they just lied when they would pick you up. The skiing they do not have an intermediate hill for my young kid to learn to ski. Straight from the magic carpet to a hard blue. The instructors all complained. It also gets zero sun so you freeze you Ass off. Just to get fire wool to put in the fire pit in the front lobby was impossible. They gym was so dirty my wife refused to go. Trash and towels would be left outside of everyone's room for days and was never fully picked up. The health department needs to contacted. Overall waste of time and money. read more

Rented a condo unit thorough hotels.com. Regular rate was $419 I paid $360 with resort fee. Pulling up to the resort I thought "this is ok" check in was hectic and not what I am used to at a 4 star resort. No assistance at the curb, a line waiting to get to the reception. No way this place is 4 stars by any definition. The exterior of the condo building had paint that was either peeled off or blistered. Parking was depressing as we walked up. The interior of our unit #2326 was mismatched, old, out dated and down right disappointing. If I had paid $120 I'd say this is ok but for $419 or $360 it was so over priced that I'd of asked for my money back if it wasn't just one night. I've staid in hotels like the Montage in park city and even a Marriott in Logan Utah that were both less money and a million times nicer. This is a solid 2 star resort. read more

This is a decent hotel, with clean rooms and a great location next to the ski hill. It's about a 5 minute can ride to downtown, so the location is great! The rooms are smaller, and are getting dated. The rooms need an upgrade, they are just ok. The housekeeping was also slow, cleaning rooms up until 4-5 pm each day. The rates are reasonable, I was there for a conference on Valentine's Day weekend and the rates were around $175 a night...not bad for the area. The ski hill is right out of the back door. Skiers were tromping down the stairs and right out onto the hill. Great location! The bar/restaurant was nice, newly remodeled, with excellent service. They have a pool and a pool deck, which looks like fun in the summer. Other than the rooms being older, my other concern was that there was a lot of ice and snow in the parking lot and on the sidewalks, and we told the front desk several times...to no avail. This could be quite dangerous, so watch your step. It's a fine hotel if you want to ski and have some drinks...great location. Just know the rooms are older/dated. read more

After reading several reviews on Expedia prior to booking I decided to book a one bedroom condo. Upon check in, it was the front desk attendant's second day working there so it took a good 15-20 min to check in. He was unsure where our unit was located and gave us some pretty bad directions. The units have 3 different sets of numbers on them. For example, our room was 2421, but on the door it had 464, 2421 and 202 on it. Once we finally found it, I'd say that our unit was pretty out dated. Probably from when the building was first built, with some minor upgrades (furniture) in the 1990s. Our bathroom sink was broken and the entrance door to the unit was broken as well (kept getting stuck on the metal plate that the dead bolt locks into). Overall, it was clean and quiet and a short walk to the main hotel. read more

On September 17 my husband and I checked into the Snow King Resort for our honeymoon. We were excited to stay here after a friend highly recommended it after his stay with his wife just a few weeks before our stay. After 5 nights of camping we were both ecstatic to take a shower. To our dismay, there was hair in the shower which was alarming since the room door said the room was cleaned and sealed (new due to COVID). The staff member at the front counter apologized and said she would have house cleaning come to the room. We asked for a room change but she immediately said that was not possible because the resort was booked. Obviously not everyone had checked in by that time (around 2:30pm) so we didn't understand why we couldn't switch to a new room and have a new guest take ours but we didn't argue. We left the room for house cleaning and confirmed with the front desk before reentering. I went to take a shower and there was still saw hair in the shower but at this point we had no faith house cleaning would do a better job so we left it alone. A few hours later we left the resort to walk to town and have dinner. When we were leaving we heard the front counter (different staff) tell new guest about amenities such as the pool/hot tub and shuttle service. When we checked in, the staff member didn't tell us anything about the amenities. We were interested in the shuttle service but the line was long and we were on a time schedule so we left. It was unfortunate the staff member who checked us in didn't tell us about the shuttle service because we would have taken advantage of that. We also were interested in the hot tub and when we came back from dinner we made reservations. By this point only the next morning was available. Shortly after coming back from dinner we could immediately heard the lobby staff and guest and music and knew it would be difficult to sleep. (We were in room 205.). I went to the front desk and asked if we could change rooms and the gentleman looked on the computer and said there wasn't anything available (at least he looked while the earlier woman did not.) He turned down the music and said he would try to keep the noise level down. We appreciated that. After 10pm the woman in the front started vacuuming behind the front counter. We asked her to stop because obviously we could hear that from our room and asked her to turn down piano off. She honored our request. We could still hear guest traffic but at that point there was nothing left for us to do. We went to bed and of course we both had trouble sleeping. And then at 5:30am the alarm went off. One would think that house cleaning would reset alarms. Guest do not intuitively think to reset alarms. At 9:00am we went to the front desk to get our wrist bands for the hot tub. The woman at the front counter was the same person who checked us in. Not much to our surprise, she was not friendly. We went to the hot tub and there was another guest there. We told him we had reservations and showed him our wrist band. He said he reserved the pool at 9:00am and I told him there are two different reservations. He said he was unaware and asked to stay. Feeling awkward to kick someone out we said yes but really that should be the resorts responsibility to ensure there is compliance with reservations. We will not stay here ever again. read more

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. When we got up to my room there was a sock on the ground, change all over the floor and cookies underneath the bed. We go down to the front desk and ask them to send someone up to clean it and they said they'll see what they could do. We leave for about an hour and go back up to our room and it was not cleaned at all. The next day I checked my bank account and they made random charges on 2 separate cards. So we go to the front desk and ask to speak to a manager and he says he has no idea what those charges are and that there is nothing he can do for us. Don't waste your money here. I have not had the chance to stay at this hotel, but after the nightmare of getting my money refunded, I would never trust them with my business. On August 16, 2017, I put down my deposit for this hotel for my honeymoon in June 2018. There was a change of plans after my fiancé and I were gifted a honeymoon in Hawaii as an early wedding present. As a result, on December 7, I cancelled my reservation at Snow King and was told my money would be refunded to me. We planned on rebooking at a later date, as we both still want to see Jackson. After not hearing anything by December 13, we called and were told we would be refunded within a few days. Wanting to give them enough time and not be a bother, I waited until today (December 22) to contact the hotel again. I was then told that in their system my reservation was in June 2017, and that was the reason I had not been refunded. Both the confirmation email and my cancellation email that were sent to me list June 2018, but they apparently had it incorrectly in their system. I'm not sure why their system would let us book a reservation in June 2017, when I didn't even make it until August 2017, but I suppose that is besides the point. I'm also not sure why we weren't informed of this when we called the first time. We were then told we would receive our refund around January 7, a full month after it was requested. This has been a major headache, but I definitely feel lucky that we did not show up to this hotel exhausted a day after our wedding, only to be told our reservation in their system was for a year prior. I'd tell anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. read more

We came here for the mini golf and the luge. The mini golf course was fun and nobody gave us a problem for playing in a somewhat large group (although it was pretty dead when we initially arrived and began playing). We also did the luge ride, which is sort of a rip off but still fun. It's $20 for a driver and $10 for a passenger....so for 4 of us (2 drivers, 2 passengers) it was $60! For one ride! We had previously done the luge in New Zealand, where it was a lot less money and you got multiple rides. The ride itself was fun...you don't get to steer because you're on a track...you only can brake so you can control the speed somewhat. The ride takes your photo at one point and then they have the nerve to try to charge you for the photos when you are done with the ride....for the outrageous price, the photo should be included. read more

This was the second time my fiance and I stayed in this resort. The first time was last year in the middle of August and we had a great experience. This time was completely different. We knew we are traveling during a pandemic so of course certain amenities wouldn't be in service at the moment, but what we got was just unacceptable. The first room we checked into, was a ground floor level, king bed room. Everything seemed fine, until we started looking around. The bathroom was by far the worst part. First of all, we noticed immediately we were missing hand soap. So when we went out to get our bags from the car, we stopped by the front desk and told them we needed some. The woman that checked us in took down our room number and told us she would send someone over with it. We left for a while and then came back to the room 4 hours later and noticed the hand soap still wasn't there. So we called down to the front desk, gave them the room number again and requested they bring some now since we still didn't have any - spoiler alert, the soap never came and didn't until my fiance later went to ask for a room change - they handed him some from behind the counter which we don't understand why they didn't just do that the first time we asked. Beyond the missing soap, the glass shelf that was supposed to be under the mirror was missing, but only the glass part. The stand it should have been sitting on was still there, but the actual shelf was no where to be found. The toilet paper roll holder didn't fit correctly and every time you went to rip a piece off, the entire roll and holder would fall to the ground, the bathroom vent didn't work at all and the worst part, when my fiance went to take a shower before we went out, the shower water pressure was pathetic. The water basically fell out of the shower head. That was the last straw for us and my fiance went to the front desk to ask for a room change. The next room was on the third floor, still king bed. The bathroom was a bit nicer as in the glass shelf was at least there and the toilet paper roll actually stayed in place. However the vent still didn't work and in this room, the shower pressure was hard enough it was leaving pelt marks on your body if you stayed in too long. This was all fine, until we tried to go to bed later that night and found out the A/C didn't work in the room at all. For over $200 a night, I would expect better than this. We could have stayed in the Motel 6 and got a better room for a cheaper price. I think it's also worth noting, someone was complaining about their room when we first checked in and another person was complaining about their room - specifically the bathroom vent and A/C not working - when we were checking out. We were so bummed because the first time we stayed here it was great, but we will never waste our money at this place again unless some major renovations are done to the rooms. Also, forgot to mention - no one ever came to our room to clean it or give us fresh towels. If they would have mentioned cleaning service was discontinued during this time it wouldn't have been a big deal, but no one ever said anything to us about it. So we have no idea if they did discontinue the services for now or if our new room just got overlooked. read more

The hotel is on the outskirts of town, near the city town lift (Snow King) I found it to be poorly run. The first thing I saw on entering the room was a layer of dust on every surface. It did not change in the four days I stayed there. The sliver of soap left in the shower did not impress me either. There is only a sliver to begin with, but I didn't really want to share with the previous visitor. We had to call the desk EVERY DAY to get the room serviced. Find another place to stay in Jackson if you have customer service expectations of any kind. This place offers a shuttle service that is virtually never available for use due to reservations or prior planned uses by the hotel. They do zero house keeping so after a week stay our room was in need of lots of items that were almost impossible to Get. Rooms are old with a cheap facelift. Bell carts are old and impossible to get into elevators . Many complaints from other guests for exact same things. Seems like they have some issues to iron out but their customer service is less than concerned. read more

There were two people in front of us and we waited in line for close to an hour before we got attended to. When we tried to get in touch with the front desk through the in room phone nobody picked up and we had to call them with our cellphones. And even then spend 20mins ringing. When we arrived the front desk people were not professional whatsoever and took a rather long time. I asked if there was a problem and they said no. When my husband and I got to our room it had two double beds. I called down and they said they did not have any other rooms. So basically we paid for a king and are stuck with what we they had. The view is horrible and all I can hear is the sound of a generator outside of our window. Smells musty and not very clean. The shower in the bathroom is old and needs to be replaced. Housekeeping stole and management didn't address or try and help me. Took me 4 days of calling to finally reach Matt Cooper who wasn't helpful. I left an entire drawer full of lululemon leggings and workout clothes along with dresses and other items. The housekeeping didn't return or claim to have found them after we checked out 8/4/2020 out of room 608. I'm so disappointed the employee wasn't questioned and my items weren't "found". How can a full drawer of clothes not be found?! Totally my fault for forgetting to pack it but I would think I could have easily have paid for it to be shipped back. Clean rooms. Fresh contemporary/ Scandinavian design themes in the rooms. Check in was annoyingly unaccomodating until 4pm, after a long days drive. Check in staff were super slow. Seemingly processing 1 guest per 10 minutes. Despite the sluggish pace they gave us a dual bed instead of a solo king (wrong room type). Despite covid, room lacked hand soap. Room seemed very clean. A/c worked. The snow king grill was completely closed at 6pm so had to go into town for dinner. read more

The good: Staff was super friendly and accommodating. When we complained about the room we had been assigned in the main hotel being noisy and too bear the parking lot (we were picky as it was our honeymoon!), the front desk woman was so kind. She realized it was our honeymoon and complimentary upgraded us to an entire condo run by the resort!! She then kindly had some champagne and dessert sent over to us :-) The condo was large and spacious. The bathroom was nice and luxurious. The interior of the main building was quite nice. We had a glimpse of the rooms there and they seemed updated and trendy. Maintenace guy responded quickly (twice) when two of our three fire alarms started chirping at two separate times! The bad: The accommodations in the condo were a bit outdated. The bedspread looked tired and the bed was not very comfortable. There should be ice machines or ice cube trays in the condo area. We've been coming to Snow King for over 15 years. I was really concerned for this trip, last week, because of all the horrible reviews the resort has been getting recently. It had been about 6 years since our last visit. We booked a luxury one bedroom condo, so that we could have a full kitchen during our vacation. The check in process, the airport shuttle, and getting to the condo were all flawless. Our condo was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. We even had a beautiful view of the Grand Tetons out of the bedroom window! We walked everywhere while we were in town. We walk downtown every evening for drinks and dinner. And on the one day our friends did not ski, they walked downtown to explore, shop, and go for a sleigh ride in the elk refuge. It's about a mile to downtown from the hotel lobby, but it's an easy and enjoyable walk even in the winter. If walking is not for you, there is a regular town shuttle that is free to use within town limits. If you are physically able I recommend walking, it's a great way to get to know the town. The process of getting lift tickets for Snow King mountain was a bit laborious, as the lift ticket windows were often closed even if the lifts were open. If you're buying lift tickets for snow king while staying at the hotel, your best bet is going down to the rental office inside the hotel. The price for the cowboy coaster is a bit ridiculous, at $15-$20 a ride, so we did not try it. The lobby area and the hotel restaurant have all been redone, but we did not eat at the restaurant and so I have no opinion. It looked beautiful. Our friends stayed in the hotel and said their room was well appointed and recently redone. They said it was modern and very nice, but I did not see it in person. Overall, we are very happy with our recent stay at Snow King and will be thrilled to plan our next vacation to Jackson, there. read more

Booked room and paid 4 months in advance and still got a crappy room with a view of a parking lot. We also got an "accessible" room for no reason. When I asked if there were other rooms we could switch to, the staff was rude again. This "resort" has no laundry or dry cleaning service. I'm here for a wedding and had to frantically find a dry cleaner to press my suit. There is no complimentary breakfast. No bath robes. No extra blankets or pillows. Housekeeping did the absolute minimum. There was no mini bar, no room service... there weren't even any glasses in the room, just crappy plastic cups for the nice wine we bought. I saw a guest have to BUY a travel sized toothpaste!!! No info about the amenities was given whatsoever on arrival by the rude staff. The pool and hot tub close way too early. I've stayed at cheap motels better than this. The thing is this place isn't cheap by a long shot. This is NOT a resort. It is an overpriced hotel. read more

Honestly, we were disappointed with our experience for the amount we paid. After we arrived we learned that we didn't have housekeeping services, no ice in the room (had to walk a block for ice), had to take our garbage to the garage each day, pool was closed for two days, satellite/cable just stopped working one night, no remote control for the tv, washed our own dishes, had to shove our food into a dorm fridge, front desk didn't answer the phone, no in room collateral, etc. I get it, these are all 1st world problems, but again.... we spent a LOT of $ each night. I travel professionally and personally every month and don't feel this lived up to our expectations. Great location. Waking distance to most of the tourist areas in Jackson. read more

We loved our condo. It was spacious, perfect for cooking in when you get tired of Jackson's 'fancy' expensive, small portion restaurants. Our bed sucked if we are being honest and we had maintenance knocking on our door late one evening and unlocking our dead bolt for a call we did not make. Luckily my husband was able to hold the door back because we had no idea who it was until calling front desk to figure it out. We were glad, we weren't in bed when this happened. Washer and dryer was very small so we had to do lots of laundry but it served it's purpose. Things to note.. they say they have extra towels for you In the cabinet that is wrong. They only give one towel pre person staying. 2 towels isn't enough especially when you want to wash them and have 2 people. If you need extra towels it's an extra $10 pre towel. What kind of place charges for more towels? That's ridiculous. We loved the jacuzzi tub, we cleaned and sanitized it before using and we enjoyed it every night. The rooms are spacious. We booked through American Express Hotels Collection. I am a bit surprised that they affiliate with this hotel. Credibility: I am a hospitality professional. My background involves managing a 2500+ room Forbes Four Star Hotel. I consider myself to be an expert in this realm. So, I called ahead to request an early arrival (we landed around 10AM). The person who answered was unhelpful and rude. "Yeah, we don't do early check-in. When you get here if there is a room we might give it to you but yeah there is nothing I can do". He then ended the call. OKay... So we arrive to the Hotel, the agent advised that they didn't have any rooms immediately available but she said she was going to assign us "The best room, top floor, overlooking the mountain". We were pretty stoked and suddenly the wait didn't feel so bad.She assured us we were receive a phone call when the room was ready. We were told to put our own bags in the bell closet which was left unlocked... not a very secure feeling... We took the bus downtown and walked around Jackson Hole for about 4 hours, got lunch, shopped, saw our family, etc... no phone call. We called the hotel, "we have a lot of rooms available right now, but your room is THE BEST so you should keep waiting for that room". Again, okay, that sounds worth it. FINALLY we get a phone call. We head back to the hotel, exhausted and rushed to prepare for a rehearsal dinner. We get up to the 7th floor to find an active construction area (tarp covered carpet, equipment in the hallway and JACK HAMMERING in the room directly next to ours. I pretty much lost my marbles. I went back to the front desk and demanded another room, the agent asked me what was wrong... Me: "IDK how about the active construction and jack hammering?" Agent: "OH, I forgot about that, are you sure you want to move? I can't give you a room as nice as that one." Me: "Listen, I work in hospitality - please give me another room." Agent: "Why didn't you just tell me that when you checked in?" COMICAL. Tears of frustration... After trying to set them up for success, hours of waiting for a terrible room, we were downgraded. It was really disappointing. Jackson Hole is gorgeous and we intend to return next summer but will not stay at Snow King. I did want to note: the shuttle drivers were pretty awesome. It rained pretty hard one night and I witnessed the shuttle driver pull over and offer rides to respective hotels to random patrons. You definitely do not see that everyday. read more

This is a great place to stay in Jackson hole. The staff is very helpful. From the shuttle driver to the housekeeping , we were given attention, yet enough space to feel like we could relax. Wonderful fireplace and quiet corners when you don't want to ski. read more

We stayed here for a recent business trip. There is not a good thing that I can say about this place. From checking in, we were told that the room we had reserved was not available and we were moved to a smaller room. We were told that we will get our originally reserved room the following day but we had to come back to the front desk to check out and check in. The next day, we were told that there was no existence of our reservation and either we stay in the smaller room or we can check out. To say the least, the front staff is as rude and lost as one can imagine. The internet was slow, constantly drops out, and most of the time in accessible. Do not stay at this place. read more
