I was able to experience Costa Rica inside and out. I zip lined thoroughly the jungles, river rafted for my first time and even got to waterfall repel. I was able to get over my fears and made life long friends. The trip leader was very organized and on point. I never once felt like It was unsafe or confused about the activities for the day. Not to mention the hotel rooms! I felt like a queen, with views of Volcano Arenal, or the coastline. It felt like I was in a movie the entire trip. Wish it wasn't over! Pura Vida!

Because I bruise so easily I definitely came home with a bunch of battle scars but they were worth it. If you're afraid of heights like I am then when you're at the top don't look down. Flash forward to a few years ago and a friend of mine convinced me to do it again I had to psych myself out a little but once I did it I love it. It's a smooth ride with lots of g forces at the end. Other than the drop there's nothing mind blowing about the ride. But it's a solid part of the park.

Had so much fun hang gliding today. We took off at a little over 3500 feet and were able to climb…read moreto over 4000 feet. We were higher than the airplanes on landing approach to Burbank airport. We flew with some turkey vultures in the area. This is the closest experience to flying like a bird. My instructor has flown over 10000 flights so I was in good hands. The video is of Alice landing after me. She landed on her feet and my instructor landed on the wheels. I will post the go pro footage later. Another great adventure!

Lately I've been doing a lot of daredevil activities and came across hang gliding. I previously did…read moreparagliding at La Jolla it was okay but hang gliding seemed to be more fun and extreme. I arrived at the glider port and then the instructor who was very nice Andy the owner came. We took a 40m drive to the glider port the team set everything up. Watched video on a iPad for quick training it was very simple instructions even kids can learn. We were up 35-40 high went fast, circled around and landed on the ground safe. Willie was my tandem pilot his landing style is very graceful and you land on your feet while Andy the former airplane pilot expert likes to land on wheels it was pretty cool. I'm really excited to get home and watch the gro pro footages of our mountain tandem hang gliding.

Such a fun experience at Santa Margarita Ranch Ziplining! The adventure honestly starts the minute…read moreyou arrive. You check in at the main office downtown, then hop on a tour bus to the ranch property. Our driver was super informative and entertaining along the way. The drive itself felt like part of the experience with bumpy ranch roads, multiple gates, gorgeous scenery, and a real behind the scenes feel of the property. Once you arrive, the staff gets you geared up with all the safety equipment and everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and great with all ages. After gearing up, you take an old Army style jeep up the mountain and that ride alone was an adventure Super rickety, steep, and fun! We felt very safe the entire time because before every single zip line, the staff carefully checked everyone's safety gear and connections. There are 6 zip lines total and each one is different with spectacular views that change throughout the course. One thing to know is that you should be in reasonably good shape because there are mini hikes between some of the zip lines. There are lots of water stations along the course, which was great, but the experience is definitely active and you do not want to hold up the group. Totally worth it though and such a memorable Central Coast adventure for families, couples, teens, and adventurous kids!

My friend and I were staying in Santa Barbara. We wanted to zipline. I found Highline Adventures…read morethrough searches and reviews. I went on the website, easy to navigate, reserve a spot and pay. About an hour drive from downtown Santa Barbara...not bad. We did go on a Thursday at 11:00 AM. Plenty of parking and only 6 in our group. The "Base Camp" main office is very nice, new, clean bathrooms, easy check-in with small storage box to hold a small purse with keys wallets and such. Joey and Jaun were our guides, they were fantastic, super friendly very courteous, made sure we were safe. Basically the Zipline adventure consist of a jeep ride to the first Zipline where you get geared up and are given safety instructions. The zips are 2 side by side lines, which was fun to race with my friend. First zip is the longest, Second is medium and third is the fastess down to base camp. My only wish is that hey had more than 3 ziplines. My only helpful hints would be is to wear sunscreen (in our case I wore leggings and a light long sleeve shirt), more comfortable, PLUS if you wear shorts or sleeveless shirt of any kind, put bug spray on. When you were stationary there were these annoying flys. It was deffinitely worth it and fun as hell. I would go again when I go back to Santa Barbara. If you plan ahead leave time to go to Solvang for lunch... fun area too. Zipline: very safe and so much fun. Service: excellent.

Great way to get into nature without hiking, and had so much fun zip lining! Kaitlin and Kyler were fantastic guides and kept us engaged and safe throughout the entire trip. Big kudos to them for getting everyone across the finish line, and being the nicest people. There were five lines in total, each with unique features to keep it exciting. Our group was about 8 people, and we each finished a line before moving to the next. There were a few people in the group who were very nervous or had a fear of heights, much made it through the whole tour, so I wouldn't be discouraged if you've never gone zip lining before.
