I was able to experience Costa Rica inside and out. I zip lined thoroughly the jungles, river rafted for my first time and even got to waterfall repel. I was able to get over my fears and made life long friends. The trip leader was very organized and on point. I never once felt like It was unsafe or confused about the activities for the day. Not to mention the hotel rooms! I felt like a queen, with views of Volcano Arenal, or the coastline. It felt like I was in a movie the entire trip. Wish it wasn't over! Pura Vida!

Flash forward to a few years ago and a friend of mine convinced me to do it again I had to psych myself out a little but once I did it I love it. It's a smooth ride with lots of g forces at the end. Lately I've been doing a lot of daredevil activities and came across hang gliding. I previously did…read moreparagliding at La Jolla it was okay but hang gliding seemed to be more fun and extreme. I arrived at the glider port and then the instructor who was very nice Andy the owner came. We took a 40m drive to the glider port the team set everything up. Watched video on a iPad for quick training it was very simple instructions even kids can learn. We were up 35-40 high went fast, circled around and landed on the ground safe. Willie was my tandem pilot his landing style is very graceful and you land on your feet while Andy the former airplane pilot expert likes to land on wheels it was pretty cool. I'm really excited to get home and watch the gro pro footages of our mountain tandem hang gliding.

We flew with some turkey vultures in the area. This is the closest experience to flying like a bird. My instructor has flown over 10000 flights so I was in good hands. Everyone at Margarita was super nice, and you could tell that everyone involved with the escape room were hardcore enthusiasts. Rita's is their stand-alone, which was a lot of fun and was challenging but not frustratingly so. Definitely can do it with two people with minimal to no hints. Renegade is where they really bring it in terms of design and puzzles. We escaped Retrofit but needed help, and Episodes 2 and 3 were very challenging (we did not escape). Having a third or fourth person would have helped. I can't say much without spoiling anything, but they definitely put their love into this one. It is the same set for all three chapters, but certain elements are only active depending on which episode you're playing. But if you hate lock heavy rooms then this one is for you. I think just about every puzzle you solve leads to the next one without ever having to spin numbers or letters on a lock. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping off here. Plenty of parking and there's Ancient Peaks wine tasting room with a menu across the street. Or The Range or The Porch not too far up the road.

The Best ziplining experience we have had!…read more I learned about Highline Adventures sometime last year, and knew I have to come here to do the longest and fastest ziplines in California! The best and cheapest way to book is directly with them. They do offer 15% military discount, which makes a pretty good difference. For ziplining, they offer 2 options for regular zipline across 3 different lines that they have. You can either ride the military HMMWV up, or hike your way to the top. They both cost the same, which I found surprising. Besides that, they also offer Sunset and Moonlight options for sunset hour or night time. We were going to opt for the hike, which requires no guide. You just follow the path and signs along the trail to go up to the top. However, for some reasons, they didn't offer that on the day that we chose to go. When you arrive, you check yourself in at the main building. Your driver and 2 guides will meet with you and drive you to the top for the first and longest zipline. Along the way, you make the first top at the base of the 3rd and last/fastest zipline to be fitted with a harness. I have had the "pleasure" of trying and wearing multiple different harnesses on different occasions, trust me when I say, theirs are the MOST comfortable and BEST harness you'd ever put on. It provide full support and sitting position if you choose to sit while ziplining, no need to worry about the harness pulling or tightening up your groin area. Besides zipline, they also offer suspended obstacle course and suspended net play. The latter only has a minimum age requirement of 2, so perfect for the little kiddos to come here and play. Overall, very well run and thought-out courses that's perfect for the whole family! We can't wait to come back here again to try out the other activities that they offer. Highly recommend!

Spencer, Elijah, and Brittany were amazing guides! It's such a cool experience and they made us feel so safe. It's crazy because you're so high up. It was an awesome time. Definitely recommend and they made the process so smooth. Had a great time talking to our guides. They were very efficient and we had an awesome time. It was our first time ziplining and it definitely set the bar very high.

There is some walking back and forth the little hill. They zip line down and walk back up. After the hour and half course, they were tired. They still Enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are friendly and making sure they understood all the safety rules. It runs about 0930-1330 and there wasn't any options for food. Kids get grumpy and hungry. I recommend bringing snacks. The other thing I wished was that they offered gloves. The girl's hand are all tore up on the ropes and some ropes looked like metal and hot from the heat. If they don't provide gloves, then recommend them and allow parents bring or decide to buy them.
