But this review is about the "wash and fold" services the store offers. I dropped off a queen bedspread and a sleeping bag one morning around 9:30am. I picked them up that night before 6pm and was charged about $15 each, which was the price I was quoted on the phone. No problem there. My complaint comes from the fact that, when I picked up the items, the job was NOT finished. When I got home and took the items out of their bags, I noticed that something wasn't right. The queen bedspread was fine; it looked cleaner and smelled very vaguely of soap. But the sleeping bag, which had been zipped up and folded, was not dry! I unzipped the bag and found that the entire inside of the sleeping bag was WET! I had to hang the unzipped sleeping bag on a clothes line for a couple days to allow it to dry completely. Maybe it's just me, but I thought "wash and fold" services included washing, DRYING, and folding. I'm glad I inspected the items when I got home. If I had just thrown the sleeping bag in a corner, I would have gotten a very moldy surprise the next time I needed that sleeping bag. Just a heads up. Everyone at the store seems very friendly, but maybe they're not that concerned about doing the job right. I'll probably try another "wash and fold" place next time. No sense paying $15 for a service that isn't fully provided.

Their machines are of the sturdy, older version quality and type. They don't offer many frills except a couple televisions that are on sometimes and a couple of chairs. There's a soda machine and at different times an attendant that can either be "in-shop" or he can be called to the site. The attendant can take orders for dry cleaning. The costs are a little higher than the chain dry cleaners. They also offer many rolling baskets so that you can move laundry items around the shop or to your car, if parked in the lot. For washing and drying needs they offer smaller residential types of washers to the large "big boys." Costs can run from $1.50 to $4.00 for the big boys which can have a capacity of 30 or 50 lbs. Dryers are also available in large or XL. The XL's will run for ten minutes with each quarter. A max of 90 minutes which equals $2.25. They have a coin changer on site as well. Side note: Their signage indicates that the washing of rugs is okay. Big boy models can handle small and bathroom rugs. It is wise to stay with your laundry while it is going through the washing and rinsing phases. There are times I have a customer leave their machines unattended, as the attendant changes the water settings from hot or warm to cold. Shiesty! I asked him why he does it, his response is that all water is the same. I'm thinking if someone wants to wash bathroom rugs or rugs in general in hot water, they paid for it and that's their prerogative. No one pays for his input.
