Sunrise Laundry - Spacious, comfortable, clean interior with Laundry Card X-Changers....NO MORE QUARTERS :)

However, at Sunrise Laundry all you have to do is buy a laundry card for $1 and you can load the card by using cash or a credit card which is super convenient. They also have a TON of washers from all different sizes- small ($3.25), medium ($6.75), large ($8.75), and extra-large ($10.75). They even have a quick wash option if you are in a rush. Dryers are HUGE and cost only $1.60 per cycle for 30 minutes. I typically use two cycles for the dryers even with a lot of clothes in them. There aren't "bad" washers or dryers either, they all look well-maintained and newer. The only downside is that you have to wait for the 30 minutes to end before you can add more time to the dryer cycle. It's not really busy to where you have to wait for other people to finish their laundry in order to do yours. I go during the week in the earlier part of the afternoon and see three to four other people typically. The staff is really friendly and super kind. They are constantly sweeping, mopping, cleaning each machine, and keeping things really tidy. They have a vending machine selling cold drinks, including another vending machine with laundry products. Sunrise Laundry has been really great for me and I love that I can do all of my laundry in a few hours.

I asked the woman working here and she said the owner said it gets hot during the cycle. I guess the hoses for hot water and cold water must be crossed, but, no because I had a load of darks that I picked cold and it was just as ice cold as the hot ones. I guess the owner thinks everyone is stupid. I realize they want to save money on their hot water bill but come on! They literally just stole my money.

But, for a couple of years now this laundry has been on and off for me. I keep saying I am going to go to a different laundry, but never do. I like the machines here, when they work! The guy that runs this place is hardly ever there. When his machines don't work I never get my money back. There needs to be an attendant on duty at all times. I like the pre-wash cycle & few laundrys have this any more and this is what keeps me coming back. Also the location is convenient. But, I swear one of these days will get feed up with this laundry and never go back, or just buy my own washer :)

I've been coming to this laundromat for a while now. Two good things about it: the cost is great…read moreand it's not usually packed. But some negatives: I see the guy cleaning, but I often have to go back through the machines to remove cat hair. Also, the bathroom is not in a good place for a woman if it happens to be night time when you're doing your laundry - you have to go down a hall and to the back. But more than anything, this place eye ax to before I first came here I asked what are their hours were. They close at 10 pm, so they say the last wash is at 9pm. t I'm sure they say the last washes at 9 PM. The guy didn't like that I would come there unintentionally sometimes at 8:30 p.m., he would huff, puff, shake his head, etc, and finally on Thursday, September 13, 2018, he told me that it wasn't the intent for people to come around 8:30 and even though the last wash is at 9 it is "not the intent" for the last wash to actually be at 9. He literally told me "that's not the intent" when I told him you said the last was is st 9 - it's 8:30 p.m. My problem with that is if you don't want people to come at 8:30, tell them the last wash is that 7:30 or 8 - that's the latest most people will get there. At least I didn't literally come at 9. So, also in his explanation he told me that "the intent is for people to come at a respectable time", which means that you're saying I'm not being respectful. I've been coming here for awhile now, eventually noticing his attitude, and now he's questioning my respectfulness. After I told him to change the hours, I went to my trunk and decided forget it I'm not going back there anymore. I do not appreciate that I've been coming often to this laundromat only just to end up having my character slandered in front of other customers, because he didn't want to stay late. I'm convonved he knew the hours before he took the job. And if he's not the one with the authority to change the hours, he should have taken it to his boss. If he was afraid to do that, be obviously knew that was unprofessional. I understand where he was coming from, not wanting to stay late, but you can't get mad at customers for coming between the hours that you approve and advertise, especially not slandering them to their face! This was just flat out rude and unprofessional. If you want people to be there by 8 o'clock tell them the last wash is at 7:30 or 8 PM!
