Gorgeous décor. Posh surroundings. Luxurious backdrop. However, Snowbird lacks character and ambiance. It's only redeeming factor was its bartender that knew how to make a good dirty martini. I usually review places after visiting 3 times so that I give a good assessment, but I will not go back there even a second time, much less a third... There were 2 ladies at the bar and another couple in the restaurant. No one else even stepped foot in the place the whole time we were there. It was an odd feeling - a bit disconcerting. Maybe it's a late-night place?? My friend and I shared the wagyu empanadas and the chicken sliders to start. The empanadas were just okay. The sliders were very good - great textures and flavors and the perfect temperature. We ordered the ribeye for the main entrée. She took two bites and left the rest for the trash can. I've had better steak (and waitstaff for that matter) at Applebee's. We left promptly after we were done with our wine. It was freezing in there - we had to act like snowbirds and migrate to a warmer environment!!

The raspberry beret was a bit too sweet for my liking but it came out well and the frozen raspberry pieces on top was such a cool touch! The London bridge drink had an amazing balance of early grey and gin - I didn't know this combination of flavors could be achieved I did especially enjoy the chipotle aioli on the waffle fries and the Thai crunchy salad - they were amazing Don't get me started on how pretentious the pretentious pineapple was - it was hilarious and my favorite drink of the night with its balance of pineapple and tequila! The vibes were immaculate for Halloween - they are on point and the staff are too with their cat outfits! Be sure to dress up if you go here! (I came with a reservation)

Our reservations were for 7:30 we were seated quickly. This is a really cute place with a nice set up. The type of place you come for drinks with friends or a date. I ordered a cosmo. The menu is very small. Unfortunately, none of the appetizers were appealing to me. For dinner I went with the whole Red snapper. The thing was huge! I wasn't sure I'd be able to even eat half of it. I ordered mine fried and it was delicious! I wish fish was a thing you could take home because I would've. To finish it off I had an espresso martini that was yummy. The quality of service is great here the entire staff is very attentive.

I'm a little late in writing this review, but I still wanted to share my experience because it was that good! I visited Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen right when they opened, so the place was nearly empty, but that just meant I got to fully appreciate the sleek, clean, and stylish atmosphere. I started with a mocktail, which was well-crafted, just as much care goes into their non-alcoholic options as their cocktails. For food, we went with the Wagyu beef sliders first, and they were absolute perfection juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. We followed that up with the Wagyu beef empanadas, which were equally delightful, with a crispy exterior and rich, savory filling. Even though we were some of the first customers of the day, the service was welcoming, and the space felt well-maintained and inviting. If you're looking for a stylish spot with top-tier bites, Snowbird is definitely worth a visit! I'll be back for sure.

This place is so chic and quaint. Perfect place for the girliest of girlies. :) I came here to help my friend celebrate her birthday during happy hour. Everything was delicious and their happy hour prices are great! I really enjoyed the fried shishito peppers and empanadas on the happy hour menu. Seriously.. the happy hour menu offers a lot of great and affordable options. I can't wait to come back and try the colossal salad in the martini glass with bread and fries. Definitely will have to share with a friend

Kimchi Calamari- flavorful and perfectly fried

Came here right as the opened at 4 pm for an early dinner . When making our reservation we selected "dinner" as the area but was still placed in a room with very small tables. That's my only complaint. Everything else as perfection. We were seated promptly. Our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable . As starters we got the kimchi calamari which was delicious and a generous portion. We also got the waygu empanadas which were also really good. I wanted to order the bone marrow fried rice but they were out of the bone marrow so I opted for the lamb chops and subbed the couscous for the tricolor potato's. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection . My husband got the Waygu sliders which were phenomenal! I also for the pear faction which was really good! All in all we definitely want to return.

Went here for my friend's birthday and it was so quirky and elegant all at the same time. Food was good and service was good too. We ordered some cocktails for the birthday girl, chimichurri shrimp satay, the quinoa chaufa stir fry with salmon, snowbird salmon, and the lomo salteado-a Peruvian wagyu steak dish. Everything was so delicious. It's a great spot for small or large groups. Bring a date or your friends to celebrate. Till then, let's sip and eat!

This is definitely one of those places you go to for the ambiance rather than the food. My tacos were incredibly small, to the point where I still felt hungry after having them. Our server was very attentive and polite.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Some of the seating was too small, like literally seats for children but the food and cocktails were great! Loved the lamb lollipops and the espresso martini! Tuna tartare was decent but would be better w jalapeño or cucumber for more crunch or served w chips instead of bread. Minus 1 star for: the seating and our server was nice but very inattentive, she seemed more engaged chatting with coworkers. Still one of the better choices in the Star we will be back!

I came here for a birthday lunch and it was perfect. We received great service, I heard the drinks were pretty good and I enjoyed the food. My favorites were the kimchi calamari, steak, fried rice, and wagyu tacos. My least favorite was the wagyu empanadas. It's super cute in there, I def love the atmosphere. I would recommend and come back.

    Did not enjoy pretentious pineapple

Really really really enjoyed margarita. Guy sitting next to me...? Rich, but annoying. Huge watch collection. Gorgeous daughters.

Great atmosphere, wonderful bartenders, drinks were delicious! Literally ordered just about every drink on the menu between my friends and I and everything we tasted was amazing.

    Cranberry mimosa

Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen is an upscale cocktail lounge located in the star district in Frisco, Texas. It's the perfect spot for a date night, brunching with the girls or dinner. The decor is very chic and modern with accents of teal and purple throughout. We arrived around 11:15 for brunch and had an amazing experience from the moment we entered. I ordered the, "You're the Steak to My Eggs." The steak was a 6 oz, 24-day aged NY strip that was cooked perfectly, per my specifications. I substituted the sunny side up eggs with scrambled eggs. It also came with a healthy portion of seasoned tri-color potatoes and toast with a garlic and chive spread that was absolutely amazing. I ordered a mimosa to start with and then I switched to the "snowbird" signature cocktail that consisted of Cazadorez Blanco tequila, Combier L'orange liqueur, coconut cream, lime juice, tajin rim, pea tea bitter spray. I normally keep it simple and stick with a mimosa or a kettle one on the rocks because I'm not a fan of mixed drinks because they always come out too sweet or too bitter, but this signature cocktail did not disappoint. It was so good, that I had to order a second round. The other individuals in my party had the Espresso No Depresso and the Moscow Mule for their drinks and they were not disappointed. The bartenders at Snowbird definitely know how to prepare an equally proportioned cocktail. I would rate my overall experience at Snowbird a 5 out of 5, based on the ambiance, service, seasoned food, portion sizes and the perfectly crafted cocktails. Go check it out for yourself.

The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

On the plus side, if you're there to hang out -- slow service isn't as bad with a good cocktail. The staff were very polite and friendly...just a little overworked in my opinion.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective.
