For my birthday weekend, my family and I came to enjoy their most memorable and amazing Sunday brunch!! They had a live mariachi band for the first time and they were a complete vibe!! Amazing voices and energy. The ambiance and aesthetics were gorgeous! Omg, and Bad Bunny was on rotation as we were all getting ready for his Super Bowl appearance Lexi, our waitress, was so kind and served us well! The ambiance is cool and looks very fun for the right kind of night, but the service was terrible. The bartenders looked annoyed while we reviewed the menu and were visibly impatient. Then, around 10pm, right after we'd gotten our drinks, a staff member came up and told us we needed to get up and took away our barstools. While I understand if the restaurant transitions into more of a bar at night and needs to remove seating, he was insincere and unapologetic about it. So Gigi's is a very cute spot. It has many photo opportunities. It's very pink, charming and darling. Great for a girls night out. The ambiance is definitely a vibe. 4 STARS for the cool atmosphere and decor. Service 2.5 STARS Short staffed and slow. We were a big party and they couldn't handle us. The restaurant was EMPTY. We helped them out and gave them some business. They knew we were coming well in advance and should have been prepared. Food 2.5 STARS Average and came out cold. Brunch menu has a very limited selection. I ordered a side of crispy bacon and it was nice and crispy. The Latin potatoes were seasoned and had they been served hot. I would have liked them better. Drinks 4 STARS This was the GOOD part. The drinks were good. The Go with the flow had cotton candy. It was cute and delicious. I also tried the La Toxia and enjoyed the smokey flavor. The lime, agave and jalapeño with mezcal was yummy. They definitely need to work out some kinks. I can see the potential. However, right now it seems to be a little underwhelming. I went to Gigi's for a girl's brunch. I saw an instagram post on this place and thought it would be a great place to try. The ambience was great. The decor was perfect for a girls brunch. When I arrived on Saturday I was shocked that my party of 30 women were really the only people in the restaurant. The service was slow. The waitress was good. She just honestly had a hard time keeping up with the large group. We really needed several people for our area. The drinks were tasty and strong. I'd come back for a drink and the prices were ok. At $14 they weren't crazy. The food was average. I had eggs and bacon and it was ok and most of the ladies said their food was ok. At the end we had a disaster trying to pay. They couldn't take many cards and had to split the card payments evenly. It just made the whole brunch worrisome for our group. Overall I think this place had potential but definitely has many areas for improvement. read more

Duplicate Charges: I visited Gigi's Bar this past weekend and had an issue that unfortunately seems to be a recurring pattern. After purchasing drinks, I noticed I was charged twice for the same transaction. (No Tab opened) When I contacted management, I was given multiple explanations, including that their POS system places temporary holds. However, I am familiar with how these systems work, and this was not simply a pending authorization it appeared as a duplicate charge. What was more concerning was the response. Instead of acknowledging the issue clearly, it was framed as a "favor" to issue a refund, which is not appropriate when correcting an error. I've since learned that others have experienced similar issues here, so I would strongly encourage the business to review how transactions are being processed. Transparency and accountability matter. Guests should feel confident that they are only charged for what they actually purchase. read more

On evenings then they have dancing, This arrangement changes, however. They convert the dining area into a dance floor by storing the tables in the patio. They have a limited food menu with 3 appetizers, 10 shareable's, 4specialty sandwiches, and 5 large plates. The tahin spiced shrimp and chicken quesadillas are very good! The bar is stocked with premium liquors.. they charge separately for the setup and liquor so you need to state your preference when ordering a drink. First off, let's just start with the food which was really good. Small menu for brunch, with a large cocktail selection. The drinks were great as well, and the ambiance, perfect for a girls brunch! First things first, this place is extremely well decorated! I'd love to come here with my girls and have a fun night out! I came here with my husband on a random Wednesday night for dinner. Here's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5: They have happy hour from 6pm-2am Monday -Thursday but you can't find that information anywhere on their website, and the staff definitely don't tell you about it or advertise it to you! I found out via social media about happy hour and asked our waitress about it. She said they only do happy hour directly at the bar or on the patio. It had been raining, so we definitely weren't going to sit outside. We asked if we could sit at the bar instead and she said it was fine. I asked her what was included in happy hour and all she said was "cheaper drinks". She couldn't give us more information. We sat at the bar and had to request a happy hour menu and it wasn't descriptive at all. We had to ask several clarifying questions. We ended up getting $6 frozen margaritas that were super strong so it all worked out! I really dislike how shady and secretive they are about their happy hour though. If you're going to offer it, offer it without withholding information or don't offer it at all. Would I return? Yes!! Would I recommend this place to others? Yes!! I do think it could easily be jam packed on a weekend though, so please pay extra attention to the reviews from those who went on a Friday or Saturday night. If I could leave a half star I would. Went there with a small group of people "4" in total. The service was absolutely horrible. Waited forever just to get water. Then we ordered drinks and that took even longer. We then ordered chip and queso and that took at least 30 minutes. We also ordered quesadillas, we had to cancel the quesadillas because it was taking so long. Told our server that we just want to cancel the order. She then told us she had to get her managers approval in order to do so, 45 minutes later server comes back with our check and guess what the quesadillas showed up. This was our first time there, so I called for a reservation with no issues and told the guy who took the reservation, one of the reasons we were going is because we wanted to dance to Latin music. He said great. the 4 of us got there for our 8:pm reservation and were told that the dancing would start around 10; pm, on the website that Latin Nights start at 9: pm. On there menu for wine, it said chardonnay and Pino Grigio. I ordered chardonnay the waitress took the order. She came back to the table and said the bartender told her they were out of chardonnay, I said OK I will have Pino grigio. She said great. She came back to the table and told me that they were out of Pino Grigio. So, we ordered dinner and after dinner we wanted desert, the waitress told us they had 2 deserts, one was a chocolate flavor pudding and one was a vanilla flavor pudding, we order the vanilla flavor. Guess what. The waitress came back to the table and told us they were out of the vanilla flavor pudding. so, I called the manager over and told him my complaints. He said they had a big party the night before and ran out of things, what can he do to make our visit right, I told him nothing. So, then he informs us that they start moving the tables off the floor for dancing and we would have to stand at or around the bar. The moral to this story is very poor management. read more

The place is beautifully decorated with upbeat vibe. Foods selection is very limited. I came on Thursday evening. Service was not attentive at all. The restaurant was not busy. I requested extra crispy jalapeño lime wings. The order came out with buffalo sauce and no extra crispy. The second time it came with the correct sauce but still no extra crispy I ate one wing and was done. Needless to say, it was disappointing. We had a reservation and even received a confirmation via text. But when we arrived, we were told they don't accept reservations -- a confusing and frustrating contradiction. Our plan was to enjoy dinner, drinks, and stay for karaoke to celebrate a birthday. Instead, we were seated at a small table and told we only had an hour to eat. Then came another unexpected "rule": if you arrive before 8 PM, you're not allowed to stay at your table -- even though there were no signs indicating time limits or upcoming reservations, and the place wasn't full. We ordered full meals and drinks, yet the check was brought to us without being requested. As the karaoke began (this was on a Friday), no one came by to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert -- despite it being a birthday celebration. At any other restaurant/lounge that promotes a similar "experience," there's usually a designated area for bottle service or large groups. Not here. Instead, they simply tell paying customers they need the table -- which comes off as rude and classless. The venue promotes itself with the phrase: "At Gigi's, we don't just serve food and drinks -- we serve an experience." Sadly, our experience was far from what was promised. It had the potential to become a regular spot for us, but after this, we won't be returning -- not even for brunch. One of the most horrible experiences on a restaurant , we have a confirmed reservation and when we arrived they said they don't take reservations and they said you can only be seated for 1 hour after that time without asking they bring the check , completely rudeness, minutes later, someone came and said they need the table, which for us that was leave immediately, .
