Good customer service and selection! They seem like they try to keep their selection fresh, up to date, and with the season. I haven't had anything here that I disliked! It is priced well also!

Today was my first day to try this donut shop and it was pretty good overall. I got Biscuits with sausage Gravey which I'll be honest tasted like powdered gravy but the biscuits were really good and flaky. I also got half a dozen of Kolaches 2 of each kind(Jalapeno sausage cheese, Cheese & Sausage, Ham & Cheese). I also got a dozen glazed donut holes which were also good. I am the kind of person that likes my bread soft and fluffy when it comes to Kolaches and Donuts and this is not how the bread was which is just my personal preference but over all the taste and flavors were there and I cant wait to go try other things like their Breakfast Croissants, Bear Claws, Cinnamon rolls, Burritos and other things I did not get to try. The employee that was working was also really nice which is always a plus.

I have been going to snowflake my entire life and they have the best donuts hands down. I currently live in Austin and I still have yet to find a nice donut shop with this high quality warm donuts. The glazed donuts are my favorite. On the weekends they always have nice warm donuts (especially the glazed) that have just been taken out. The drive through can get a little long on the weekends in the morning but they are pretty quick to serve you. Today I went to snowflake for the first time in 10 years and they did not disappoint.

This place has hot donuts until about 11 after that they aren't hot but they are fresh. The staff strives to be friendly at all times and are a fun little group.

First time for me at Snowflake Donuts .I enjoyed the sausage and cheese kolache with a huge donut twist. Fast service. The kids really enjoyed the sprinkle donuts with a take home bag of donut holes .

Locally owned donut shop. Bought a dozen donut holes, they were very delicious. I also bought a sausage cheese jalapeño kolache. It was ok wish it was warmer but not bad. Prices were low yet the food was good quality.

Best donuts in the entire world!!! Since 1946 :)

Donuts are delicious! Snowflake is like a hometown secret. Way better than most big name brands. Good hometown service too!

Java Owl Coffee House - Look at this beautiful matcha latte! Tastes good, too!

Ah, Java Owl -- a welcome little refuge in the strip-mall sprawl and chain-coffee sameness of Clear…read moreLake. The kind of place you stumble into expecting caffeine and leave with a small, irrational faith in humanity restored. People like to say Montrose is where Houston keeps its cool, its weird, its pulse. Maybe. But Java Owl makes a strong case that Clear Lake has been hiding a little strange magic of its own. It is bright, clean, odd in the best possible way, and alive with the feeling that something interesting might happen before you finish your cup. Now, the important part: the coffee. I judge a place by the black cup. No sugar, no milk, no whipped cream masquerading as personality. Just coffee, exposed and unprotected. Java Owl passes that test. The roast has character. It tastes like someone cared. It does not taste like the sad, scorched sludge you get from places that treat coffee beans like evidence to be burned. And if you want something more elaborate, they have that too. The specialty drinks rotate, mutate, and show up with a kind of reckless creativity that works more often than it has any right to. Every visit seems to bring some new concoction, some fresh little act of caffeinated imagination. Late nights at the Owl are their own species of entertainment. Beer, wine, conversation, and the grand old human circus of people watching. Someone might break into "Sweet Caroline." Someone else might decide the room needs a guitar solo. You do not so much sit there as get folded into the scene. It is noisy, warm, occasionally ridiculous, and never dull. Somehow, the place manages to be both energetic and peaceful, which should be impossible and yet is not. Good coffee, good people, a little music, a little chaos, and staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. The positivity is not the forced kind. It is not laminated corporate cheer. It is real enough that you can walk in tired and walk out a little lighter. So yes, go. Go to see and be seen, sure. But more than that, go because places like this matter. Java Owl is coffee, community, weirdness, and warmth in a town that could use more of all four.

The breakfast was pretty average--it looked good and tasted good, but nothing that completely blew me away. BUT THOSE DRINKS?! I am STILL thinking about that Dirty Horchata and trying to figure out how I can recreate it at home because it was THAT good. I would highly suggest getting there early, or bringing someone with you so that when you get inside, one person can grab a seat while the other waits in line to order. They also have a drive-thru, which is a great option if you're mainly going for a drink. The vibe is very beachy, plant-filled, and organic, which I really loved. Overall, it was a great experience, and I absolutely cannot wait to go back for another Dirty Horchata!

Service good, parking lot a bit confusing at first…read more I ordered a cappuccino and their signature breakfast burrito bowl style. Cappuccino was good, but they ran out of mugs...looked around not a single person had a mug so I guess no one to do dishes. My chorizo breakfast bowl was overpowered by nutmeg, i know nutmeg is in chorizo, but they put way too much, had to soak the bowl down with hot sauce to counter the flavor. I only ate half the meal and was out...couldn't take it. Probably not a place I would come to eat again at. Nothing really too appealing on the menu for me.
