I was taught if something comes around twice you should take a better look so I went to the truck (big red food trailer) which happen to be across the street from where I was shopping at. The truck does free samples which is already a plus in my book because of the old saying scare money don't make money, if they are willing to give samples I knew the food had to be good. The jerk chicken and jerk pork was delicious!!! You got the signature smoke ring around the outer edge of the meat so I know the guys there were smoking it right and not using that imitation liquid smoke. The truck is only open on Saturdays and is usually from Noon until they sell out, AND THEY SELL OUT so get there early!

There's free parking across the street but it's a bit of a walk and we thought it was worth paying to save us from more walking in the heat. We do like supporting local shops/owners so for that, I think it's worth it. I also liked that it was clean, they had lots of tables with umbrellas and seating. Also there were a lot of enclosed trash cans which I appreciated so it didn't smell bad and there was always one close by to throw trash away. I'm glad the cups were big because they are kind of pricey. While I was a little slow to hop on the Smash Burger bandwagon, I am so glad I finally caught up, because wow! And Irregular Smash has really cornered the market on their smash burger selections. With them setting shop just outside the Ivanhoe Brewery parking lot, the owners got to know quite a few of us because our social tennis league (Tennis on Tap) would meet every Tuesday evening for our seasonal matches. This meant we were no strangers at Irregular Smash. By the time they left, which was a couple of months ago now, my teammates and I had tried nearly everything on their menu, and not one thing we tried was bad. The quality of food their team provided was exceptional. Everything tasted amazing. They were awesome and always just fun and supportive of our tennis trials and tribulations. I also loved that they got to learn our names, too. Made the experience of patronizing their business even more special. Price points were reasonable as well. If you don't eat meat, they also offer an Impossible Smash Burger option - great for the vegan folks (like my mom)! I was a regular patron of their OG Smash and Truffle Attack Fries. I am definitely sad to see them leave the parking lot of Ivanhoe Brewery, but I am happy to know they will be coordinating pop-ups all throughout the Orlando and surrounding areas in the coming days. I look forward to seeing how they grow, and maybe one day they will have their own brick-and-mortar. Until then, I'll be on the lookout via their social media account for where they'll be next because they made a lifetime fan out of me.

Irregular Smash is the resident food truck at Ivanhoe Brewing. What better combination is there…read morethan craft beer and a smash burger?! We did take our food to-go but enjoyed a beer from the brewery while we waited for our food. The staff at Irregular Smash were so kind and had me smiling through our whole process of ordering. Genuinely some really nice people work there! The burgers were SO DANG GOOD. I would absolutely come back here, but I think I would rather eat there because the whole area is a vibe. The Firestarter is a bit spicy so just be aware of that when you order. The Truffle Freak was my absolute favorite!! I am a sl*t for anything that has truffle in it, and their truffle aioli is FANTASTIC. My only piece of advice when visiting here would be to check the events happening at the brewery before going. Sometimes there are markets or events occurring that limit the parking. The events also usually add to the fun environment though!

I had a hard time choosing which food truck to order from, I ended up getting a brisket sandwich which was really good, except I think it had mayo on it (not advertised on the menu). Other people in my group got food from a variety of places, and we were all really happy with it. I will definitely be visiting this place again. It's got a really fun vibe, and I'm excited to try more of the food trucks!
