Come on y'all, you know why I was here yesterday. I love celebrating Cinco de Mayo here for the…read morebulls rides and other entertainment. I went around 6ish and there were many people waiting. I was told about 20 to 30 minute wait. So I went to the patio area and rode the mechanical moo moo twice. After the ride, came back inside. It was loud due to the music, but the dancers entertained us. It took a bit longer than expected, but I was seated about 45 minutes later. I took the house margarita for 10 bucks, and it was served in a plastic cup. I was just expecting a standard, but decent quality margarita since it was cheap. I was way off! After the first sip, I can immediately tell I was going to have a huge fiesta. They must have put a lot of tequila, cause I was feeling tipsy already. After drinking half of it, I was dancing to the music. The full drink left me in party mode throughout the whole time as the restaurant. For my entree, I took the chicken enchiladas got 17 dollars. I choose double rice and cream sauce. There were two nicely sized enchiladas, and the chicken was shredded nicely. It was tender and the enchiladas was pretty soft. The sauce was mild, but still flavorful to enjoy. The rice was filling. I saved one enchilada for home cause I wanted dessert too. So I took the tres leches (9 dollars), which was sweet and moist. It was just the right slice portion for me. It was just an excellent dinner for Cinco de Mayo. Service was pretty busy and got a bit chaotic at times, but they still did a very good job. While it did get slow sometimes, the entertainment fully made up for it. A lot of people were dancing and chanting to the Mexican hat dance and tequila songs. Quite a few, especially the kids, were having fun on the bull. And the professional dancers did a great job interacting with the guests. It was wild, fun, and enjoyable. I must say that while Azteca Del Oro has smaller portions at higher prices than a few years ago, it is still serving filling food at maybe higher quality than before. Maybe it was the alcohol making me happy, or the bull rides that got me disoriented. And I made the mistake of telling the operator that I ride live bulls too, because he did go hard mode on me the last ride, causing me to land awkwardly and hurt my arm. But he helped me back up and this is just all part of the fun. This is my favorite place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Overall: A

I didn't get any of the chorizo, but it was good, and not too spicy despite plenty of visible chilis. For my entree, I went with the molcajete, a large serving of steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo with peppers and onions and a chunk of queso fresco on top, served in a scalding hot stone mortar with rice and beans on the side. All the meats were good, I really couldn't pick a favorite. A fraction of it went home with me afterward. Nothing on the dessert menu grabbed my attention. Service was good.

Our server had such a bright personality and was very attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was fun and lively! There was good music playing and it wasn't too loud to connect over dinner. The happy hour food and drink specials are incredible deals that are incredibly delicious!!!! The guacamole was so fresh and tasty and the goat cheese jalapeños were absolutely scrumptious! Great light bites before our meals came. For dinner, I highly recommend the chicken and spinach enchiladas!!!! The margaritas are phenomenal and the selection of flavors are beautifully crafted and yummy! The Pineapple Margarita and the Cucumber Elderberry Martini are my top picks for drinks. Our food came out quickly, arrived hot, and everything was prepared correctly I ordered the chicken fajitas, which came with three soft tacos, rice, beans, sour cream, and lettuce. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I think it could have used a little more seasoning, but overall the meal was very good. I also treated myself to a strawberry margarita and it didnt disappoint! The restaurant was a little busy, but remained clean and well kept. Also the parking lot is shared by several businesses so finding a spot was challenging. The Winter Park area tends to stay busy so it was no surprise. I've been to Agave Azul several times and its always a good vibe! If you're looking for good food and an authentic Mexican experience this is the place for you!

The grandson recommended Queso Loco so we tried it. Definitely not disappointed. There were three main birria options, the birria quesadillas, birria tacos, and quesabirria tacos. I had the quesobirria tacos and the wife had the Barria quesadillas. Both were spot on delicious. I enjoyed the taco version better because they were like tiny quesadillas that were crispy all over. The consommé was flavorful and not at all greasy. The wife refuses to dip her food into a broth and make it mushy, but she tried it and was enjoying that consommé on the remaining bites. The service was fast and friendly. It started to get crowded but we never felt rushed. The place is decorated well with vibrant Hispanic motive. I can't forget the chicken quesadilla that the daughter had. She said it was also full of chicken, cheese, and goodness. We live nearby so Queso Loco will be our go to spot.

Got the Chios & Queso. That queso was really good. I haven't tried it before. So creamy and the bacon in it adds a good touch. I got the Quesadilla with Chorizo. Wow... that chorizo is soooo good. It was crumbled chorizo and it was a little crispy from being cooked on the flat top. I love that crispyness to it, just like on a good corned beef hash. The quesadilla was packed with meats, veggies and cheese. I wish I got a picture of the cheese being gooey when I pulled it apart. My husband got the nachos with chicken. The fresh sliced jalapeño's were not spicy (after we took the seeds out) and it was packed with flavor. The nachos were layer... which is the ONLY way to enjoy nachos. 10/10 he would get them again he said. Overall, great food experience. Can't wait to indulge again.

We've basically trained all the servers to know our orders without even asking lol. The place itself is cute, over the last year, so they've been doing a lot of cosmetic updates that bring it a little bit more modern than it was, they have music playing, but it's not too loud and you can still enjoy your dinner and conversations But now to get to the important stuff, I usually rotate through the same three meals, nachos, quesadilla or chimichanga. And they're all solid options for a picky eater like me. Today I had the quesadilla and was quite surprised by the portion size, it was bigger than normal. I don't know if that's the new regular or not, but it was plenty of food for three meals for me. On the other hand, my mom ordered the chicken salad, and felt that it was smaller than it usually is, she usually has leftovers, but not today. Overall, the place is cute, the staff is friendly, and the food is good, would definitely recommend for a solid Mexican dinner!
