I am used to tasty Caribbean food in NY, but here I haven't had much luck, 'til today. I came in around 2:30, places my order- jerk chicken dinner and it was so go. The chicken was well seasoned and the jerk sauce was on the side. I normally like sweet sauce on my meal, but since it was my first time here I wanted to see how they served it. The sauce has a little kick, so be warned. The staff was friendly. They have an outdoor patio and my meal was served there. I was also told that sometimes they have entertainment outdoors- I definitely would come for that. Their outdoor space felt like I was literally on an island. Great experience, I definitely will be back.

If you read my review yesterday regarding another Jamaican restaurant I spoke of my go to place for food. THIS PLACE IS IT! Went with my daughter today to get some fish patties and their patties actually have fish in it. (Only go to Golden Krust if you want to eat crust). This bakery has two locations (that I know of) and have been consistent in food quality for 20 years. My daughter ordered curry goat (small) that is pictured and loves it. Looking forward to some spices bun later.

Starting to become a routine for me now, coconut bread with beef patty! That's all I have tried so far but they have some good meals at decent prices. I recommend this place you will be in and out!

Here in Orlando for vacation from Maryland. Glad to have found a Jamaican place to eat. Had to drive 30 minutes to get there but it was worth it. Patties were good but did taste different than what I am used to. I am Jamaican by the way. Curry goat was pretty good with the rice and peas. Oxtail was good as well. But I forgot to request scotch bonnet pepper. There was none in the oxtail but a little in the goat. Very nice selection o drinks. Thy even had some Trini drinks. The place was very clean. The deserts looked delicious but I did not try any this time around. I did not try the hard dough bread yet but I did buy one for the trip back up to Maryland tomorrow. You will not regret a stop at this place.

I would venture to say this is one of the best Jamaican food spots in Orlando! I am Jamaican so that says a lot. They have the Jamaican staples like oxtails, brown stew chicken, patties, and Jamaican breakfast items. They are all amazing. They have a really good callaloo Pattie if you don't eat meat. They are always friendly inside. Small place so you order takeout and I've never had an issue with this specific location. If you love Jamaican food this place is great. It's in Pine Hills though, so I'd you are not familiar with the area, I would go at day time.

The giant NOW OPEN banner was flapping like it personally invited me, and the storefront painted in bold Trinidad flag colors looked ready to hand out citizenship papers with every order. I walked in thinking I'd grab a quick bite. Rookie mistake, one look at the doubles and suddenly I'm ordering five. Then I'm calling my aunt and cousin like it's a family emergency: "Allyuh want doubles? Because these looking SERIOUS." Next thing you know, I'm walking out with ten doubles like I'm catering a small festival. And let me tell you, these doubles? Soft bara, perfectly seasoned channa, pepper and tamarind sauce hugging everything like a warm Caribbean auntie. I've basically been on a doubles‑only diet since, and honestly, I feel spiritually aligned. I even ate one cold from the fridge and it still slapped. That's when you know it's real. Then there's the boneless curry chicken with buss‑up‑shut. Pure comfort. The kind of meal that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. The potatoes were soft enough to spread on a cracker, the channa was rich and earthy, and the chicken tasted like somebody's grandmother was in the back whispering, "Put a lil' more seasoning, nah." The buss‑up‑shut was fluffy, torn, and ready to scoop up every drop of curry like it had a mission. And the pepper sauce? Flavorful. Respectful. Not trying to fight me or send me to the ER. A rare and beautiful thing. The place is clean, the parking is plentiful, and the staff has real Trini accents that instantly make everything feel more authentic. Even the way they say "Next!" has rhythm. Next time, I'm calling ahead for dhal phourie, because clearly this place does not miss and I'm not risking it selling out. If you see me there again, mind your business! I'm probably ordering another ten doubles and living my best life.

We also got the Pineapple Ginger Juice. The staff was friendly. I paid with a card so I was charged a 3% convenience fee which for our order totaled an additional $2. The wait for the food and drinks was short and we received all items in a reasonable time. The food was flavorful. The Saltfish is mixed with the Ackee and was minimal in portion size. The best item was the Fried Dumplings. They were fresh and cooked perfectly. The Pineapple Ginger Juice is a favorite. It's refreshing whether it's served bottled or from the fountain. The juice has a good balance of the pineapple and ginger flavors.

Plus, they were on Uber Eats and I didn't feel like going out. Ordered my usual Jamaican dish - brown stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables. Started out with the carrot cake - 10/10. Cake was moist, cream cheese icing was creamy and not too sweet, a good amount of carrots in the cake, a big portion sliced in half for sharing, and an affordable price. Brown stew chicken - 5/10. Ok flavor, but the chicken was kind of dry. I would have liked extra gravy but was unable to make that special request. Rice and peas - 10/10. Rice was good, nice hint of coconut milk, peas cooked perfectly. Veggies - 2/10. Bland AF. Everything except for the cabbage tastes like it came from a can. Plantain - 2/10. Bland, kinda dry. Would only order from here again for the carrot cake.

The jerk chicken, I got with rice and peas, mixed veggies and cabbage. The cabbage was a little strange to me- not as I imagined from Jamaica steamed cabbage. The mixed veggies were also basic - like boiled frozen mixed veggies. The rice and peas were overall good but tasted a little on the hard side. The chicken though! This was the highlight - it was very flavorful, though I wish I would be able to have the sauce on the side.. For the fried chicken meal - the fried chicken was nice and hot. I got this to-go and was worried it would get soggy but it still tasted great when I got home. Environment This is located in a plaza tucked away near the corner. It seems to be a more takeout restaurant. There is some seats inside for your to enjoy the food. Since it is in a plaza, there is plenty of parking available, but in front of the restaurant could be a bit tricky. Niceness of the staff I would say she was not on the nice side. No one greeted me upon entering also they seemed preoccupied and did not once gave eye-contact. Definitely not friendly.. but nonetheless I got my food. Dollar It is like the bang for your buck. I ordered via UnderEats and there are deals, it was very reasonable as you get 2 leg quarters! Yes I would definitely order takeout again

The menu read great and we were excited to try this place since we love Jamaican Food. Was not easy to make a reservation - had to call Universal main line and choose from options. However, once we got a person, the reservation process was easy and pleasant. We informed the person taking the reservation that this was our first time visiting the restaurant so we expected a nice table - I assume they want repeat business. But instead we were seated right in front of the live band and it was so loud, we couldn't talk at all. The funny thing was that the restaurant was barely half full! Our waiter also had a tough time hearing us so we had to corret our orders a couple of times. They ran out of beef patties:-( that day. We decide to order some appetizers and a couple of entrees and shared. We had the Buffalo Soldier Jerk Wings - Had a nice spice to it and was quite delicious. We also hd the Jerk Caulifolower bites - a little sweet and spicy sauce and we all agreed this was the best dish we had! We had the Curried Goat stew - a weak curry and did not really have any spice to it. The Reggae Jamaican Jerk Chicken had a sweet spice and sticky sauce - next best dish we had. We also ordered the Coco bread- which was disappointing andd I do not recommend. It was just bread with some butter in it and definitely overpriced for what you got! Cocktails were rather weak. Server was just OK. He wasn't very attentive and did nothing to make our visit great.
