Great service & Excellent job On my 60 year old rusty vintage furniture
    Alma G.

They did such a great job on my 60 year old rusty chipping patio chairs and table. They look brand new! They also did a great job on the vinyl strapping. Can't wait to do some more of my patio furniture !

So Cal Patio Master repaired our Brown Jordan Patio set which has some broken welds, then did a new powder coating and new straps. The set looks great! Thank you- we look forward to enjoying our set for many more years.

Crookedly woven strapping by So Cal Patio Master

Giving NO stars. My chairs had a unique diagonal strapping when I delivered them. When I got them back they were a crooked waffle pattern. They are so obviously wrong and Chris refused to fix them or to give a refund. Very unprofessional. Do not risk your patio furniture or loose your money to this company. The photos don't lie. ***edited below this, after the owners comments on 9-8-21. I wanted to keep it about the chairs, but he went there. To clarify, I am always professional and expect the trades people I work with to be the same. In business, stuff like this happens all the time. The expectation is, you admit it and rush to make it right. That's not what he wanted to hear. So here's the whole story. First, his brother was late delivering three lounges, 4 chairs and a table that day. So now, I would be late leaving for the airport. But I let that go. Then we noticed he forgot the table and had to go back for it. I told Chris's brother something was wrong with the chairs but couldn't put my finger on it. He said to call him if there was anything wrong and he would would fix it. My husband was there. Thought they looked weird too. But what was it? Yes. Chris is correct. I signed the paper and paid the balance because Chris's brother wouldn't have it any other way, and I was very late by now and was assured it would be taken care of if there was a problem. And you bet, the next day, Chris got a text, right after we looked at the "before" PHOTOS with my original order. Obviously they were the wrong pattern and needed to be fixed. There was no answer to my text that day. I called left a message. No reply. I texted to ask to hold off on depositing the check until this was addressed. No answer. The check was deposited. I texted a few times over the week and it felt like they were blowing us off. And that's what really went down during the week it took to connect. When he did take my call, Chris made it sound like it was MY "fault" the chairs were wrong. I had asked for a projected delivery date the week before they were scheduled to be finished. I was pushing him. Anyway, I asked if he could do anything to expedite the fix. Chris said NO; Three weeks to get straps and however long it takes to get his guy, who only works weekends, to get on the schedule to redo my chairs. That was disappointing. And I said so. I sent a text after that call and explained my frustration at having no other options, but maybe he could FedEx the strapping? No answer. I texted that it felt like I didn't have much of a choice and that the extra 6 weeks was all I could do at this point, so just let me know when the strapping was in. No reply. Two weeks go by and I'm thinking I have to schedule getting him these chairs soon. I wondered if I was ever going to hear from him. My husband called yesterday to see when the strapping might be in. Chris went off right away. He dropped a few F bombs saying he wasn't, "doing your F-ing wife's F-ing chairs." That he was disrespected in a text and "you may let your wife talk to you that way, but...." Blah blah blah...then Chris hung up on my husband before he could reply. And here we are today. I really believed this company would shine with all the good reviews. If it wasn't for this customer service, bad waffle weave, F-bombing nightmare, the actual furniture refinishing isn't bad. Anyway... the good news is, I can fix this mess myself. The strapping came off without a problem. I set it in hot water to get the kinks out and am now ready to wrap the backs in the unique diagonal pattern Chris liked about them in the first place. I'm sorry we didn't have a good experience at the end working together, but I NOW know strapping these chairs isn't that difficult. And I'm only out the time it takes to weave. These will be so cute and on social media soon. .

    Homecrest suite renewed!

Chris did a great job with my vintage Homecrest patio suite. It was rusting and flaking a poorly thought out spray paint coating to start, Chris dealt with getting it sandblasted and powder coated back to the cute set it was meant to be. Once I saw what a great job he did with the coating, I dove in and had him go ahead and recreate the cushions. They came out fantastic! Built exactly like the originals, but with Sunbrella fabric instead of the weird plastic. Details like the reversible tie down pockets on the side chairs and Velcro fasteners for the back of the glider were maintained. Really looks great, the stuffing is comfortable to overstuffed (this is a good thing for future wear). Looking forward to decades more use out of this set. Chris was very helpful and forthcoming with potential downsides ( springs on Homecrest can have issues). Both projects were completed in a timely manner, within 3 weeks each time. I started my project in rainy January, I expect it would take a bit longer as Summer approaches. As it was, I needed Chris to store my pieces for a couple weeks while I finished up other issues with the patio.

I bought my jarrah patio furniture about 12 years ago and my teak furniture about 20 years ago - so i called Chris to see if it could be fixed. He replied that he could and was at my place picking it up within a few hours. Then a few days before promised due date Chris texts and says the furniture is ready!!! We were excited but didn't know quite what to expect because the entire furniture collection, including all our pillows and cushions were to be replaced & the wood fixed from dog chews. I won't say it was inexpensive because it wasn't, but it was more than worth the money! And when we had a small issue with the furniture later, Chris came and fixed it in a day!!!!! Man, you're amazing, thank you for making my family happy and allowing us to spend a lot of quality time together on our beautiful collection for years to come! Thank you!!!!!!

I have been searching for a company to refurbish patio furniture for a long time. So CAL got decent reviews and I decided to take a chance. Chris picked up the furniture promptly, quoted me a fair price, and returned the furniture several months later at my request. I was so pleasantly blown away by the excellent craftsmanship. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them in the future. They also do outdoor Sunbrella cushions for all patio furniture needs. As of yet I have not utilized Them for cushions but I will definitely be doing that as well in the future.

Chris turned old rusted barstools into beautiful patio furniture. And I couldn't ask for better service. He gave us a fair price, completed the work in a timely manner and even delivered them to our house!

Before and after of my beloved stool!!
    Kate C.

Impeccable attention to detail! Our old metal stool had seen better days, and was too sentimental to us to be forgotten. I contacted Chris and the experience couldn't be better. He met with me, discussed my needs and concerns, and was able to meet a Christmas deadline! The price was reasonable for the project of sandblasting the old paint/residue and powder coating the final color. And, SO MANY colors to choose from. I highly recommend Chris and So Cal Patio Master for your powder coating needs.

Chris did a bang up job on some beat up old Brown Jordan chairs and an ottoman we got at an estate sale. Honest and reliable - will go to him again. Highly recommend. Thanks Chris!

One of the seats on my couch had started sagging because the support fabric underneath had pulled away from the frame. Mike reattached the support fabric, added extra wood supports for reinforcement, and made sure everything was secure. Honestly, I thought I was going to end up needing a new couch, so I was pretty excited when he was able to fix it. The couch feels great now and the sagging is completely gone. It's so hard to find people these days who actually show up, do quality work, and don't make the whole process a headache. Overall, I had a really great experience and would definitely recommend Mike if you're looking for furniture or couch repairs.

Now I have to find a different company to help and this company stole money from me. I will NEVER use them again nor do I recommend them. This company's communication came out to repair a lift recliner chair. The technician, a very nice man, reported that the problem was a wire under the chair. He claimed to have repaired the wire and fixed the chair. I paid him $125. The next morning, when the chair was used again, it once again failed to decline after lifting. I called the company back and reported the chair was not fixed. They got back to me two days later. Then they requested more pictures of the chair in order to schedule a technician to return. I sent them immediately via email. I also told them via email, voicemail & text that it was the Control Box under the chair and to have the technician bring a control box on his vehicle. The company never acknowledged this information. And the technician did NOT have a control box with him when he showed up a week later. Once there, he reported it was indeed the control box and he now had to order the part which could take up to two weeks to receive and 2-4 weeks to come back and install it. AND he wanted to charge me an additional $185 for the part. Their rate for a diagnostic is supposed to be $50. I paid $125 already. And 2-4 weeks? This chair is my mom's only chair and it still doesn't work. Wtf did I pay for? So...instead of fixing the chair, I decided not to. Why sink over $300 into an old chair when a new chair is less than $500? That makes no sense. This company's customer service is non-existent. They don't answer their phone and everything is robotic about the experience. While the technician was nice enough, he did not do the job correctly and preferred to argue when I called him out on it. I maintain that I will not use them again.
