Sure, you can get something cheaper but their reliability , punctuality and dedication is something to consider when you book . I needed fool proof , reliable transport in Los Angeles for traveling from the airport to Monterey Park , then from Monterey Park to San Pedro cruise terminal . I thought on the way back I could book two ubers, simply because I didn't know when I could get off and reAlly couldn't give them a pick up time in advance . Well , I was Wrong . Lyft malfunctioned and I couldn't even figure out for half an hour if they would come . I called John ( owner ) and he surprised me to say that he would send someone within twenty five minutes . The person came within twenty five minutes . We were so glad to get our transport to the double tree in El Segundo. The price was very reasonable. The person who came to pick us up at the airport and in Monterey park , arrived 20 minutes early for us !!!! This is the dedication and sincerity I'm talking about . All the drivers were professional , kind and helpful with our luggage . And when I spoke with John for the initial concerns I had , John was so courteous and eager without being pushy about my concerns . The vehicles were very spacious too. They also give you free car seats to use - many other services may tell you that you don't need it . False ! It is the law here to use one , I did check with law enforcement. From my very first interaction with this company via email to our final drop-off at the airport for our flight home, everything went extremely smoothly. I didn't even bother getting quotes from other companies because I could just tell from the initial emails (super quick responses and very professional) that this was going to be the best service to use. I loved the convenience of communicating via text to let the company know where we were so that they could make sure they were close by when we were ready. The van arrived right on time (we waited maybe two minutes tops) and had all the car seats installed for us. The van was super clean and Kim was very friendly and got us to our hotel promptly and safely. Would easily choose Payless for all our future flights. When you're traveling, especially with kids, you don't want to mess around and take chances with a shuttle service that will be late or that is not communicative. We decided to try Tri Shuttle after seeing the positive reviews, and we were glad we did! Unlike Uber, this is a small business, and so it's much easier to be in direct contact with your driver. Tien was our driver both ways. He was friendly, prompt, and a good driver. He texted to confirm our pickups both times, and when we were coming back, he had tracked our flight so he was ready to pick us up at the curb. Getting a rideshare pickup at the airport can be a big hassle, and you usually have to go to a separate area. Then you have to wait for your ride, which your driver may cancel for whatever reason. But with Tri Shuttle, you get picked up in Arrivals as if you're having a friend or family member pick you up. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent (if you use rideshare, you know those qualities can be REALLY hit-or-miss), giving us more peace of mind to enjoy our trip. For example, I've called in regard to two different booked trips in the past month and only ever got through to someone once (out of about 6 calls total and one unanswered text). - They tend to switch drivers day of trip due to availability and timing which I can totally understand but if you're someone who gets anxious about switch ups like that - just something to note. - There isn't really a way to modify or cancel a trip reservation easily off their website. You'd have to call but as I've mentioned, it was tough getting in touch. However! The little chat function on the website worked pretty quick and they were responsive at first in helping. Then I got ghosted mid-convo bc I think whoever on the other side thought I was done with my questions/asks. - There is a 5% cancellation fee due to the company's bank? This is regardless of time before trip. There are other reputable car service companies that give full refunds for cancellations as long as it's at least an hour before reserved time. This company is cheaper than the ones I'm thinking of so there is balance there! But can get complicated, if like me, you're booking for business trip which is an expense but hard to expense a cancellation fee on top of a different res elsewhere. But also, I had one experience where there wasn't any issues with pick up other than the driver switch which had us confused momentarily. We got over it fast and was nothing but a hiccup! But again, if you're sensitive about things like that - just something to be aware of so that nobody is surprised.

They arrived on time but only then informed as they were arriving the limo's ac was not working nor was any of the power. It was a super hot day and 9 of us so you could imagine our concern. One of the passengers was pregnant and was feeling nauseous. They pretty much told us you can ride and they would only discount the deposit $105 and I would still owe $405 for round trip without ac to and from LA when I'm in OC (over an hour). This was for my birthday celebration... we had made sip and paint reservations for 5:30 pm... at this point had no time to find other transportation. While they tried to see if they could fix their ac/power issue and all back and forth about any other possible options... we asked if they can send another of their limos but they said that was not an option. Long story short we arrived over 40 mins late and missed out on the sip and paint experience of which we paid over $1,000 for the group. At the end we ended up hiring a luxury van to take us back home and canceled the limo, after they took $305 from me for what was the worst ride imaginable. I will be seeking legal advice because these people should be put out of business for being such a rip off. Save yourself some frustration and don't hire these people!
