Super positive experience with this shuttle service. With three kids, we knew we did not want the hassle of trying to take three car seats onto the plane with us. From my very first interaction with this company via email to our final drop-off at the airport for our flight home, everything went extremely smoothly. I didn't even bother getting quotes from other companies because I could just tell from the initial emails (super quick responses and very professional) that this was going to be the best service to use. I loved the convenience of communicating via text to let the company know where we were so that they could make sure they were close by when we were ready. The van arrived right on time (we waited maybe two minutes tops) and had all the car seats installed for us. The van was super clean and Kim was very friendly and got us to our hotel promptly and safely. Would easily choose Payless for all our future flights. When you're traveling, especially with kids, you don't want to mess around and take chances with a shuttle service that will be late or that is not communicative. Arrived at Long Beach for my birthday week and we could not leave the airport because my sister's bag did not arrive with her flight. Kim and Kendra were amazing and understanding about our delay. Although we had to pay for our first shuttle that was at the airport on time to pick us up, they worked with us to make sure that we had the documentation we needed to be reimbursed by the Airlines. And they arranged for another shuttle to come and pick us up at a later time so we could wait at the airport for our luggage to arrive. The car that we were picked up in was clean and had enough legroom for me to sit comfortably in the back, being a tall person this is super important to me. Kim our driver was very pleasant. We took a family group of 10 that needed transportation roundtrip from Long Beach Airport to Disneyland Hotel. Just as prearranged, our very large van arrived 10 minutes after we got to the curb, they had already installed 2 car seats for our grandchildren. The car seats and the van were pristine and there was plenty of room for our luggage. Our return trip was just as efficient. But what puts this company over the top was when one of our group left their cell phone in the van. Even though it had been over 30 minutes since they dropped us at the airport, they sent someone to intercept the van and drive the cell phone to the airport before our flight boarded. I was so very happy with my entire experience with Payless Shuttle Services, serving LAX, SNA, LGB airports. From the easiest reservation process, to the pick up at LAX and return to LGB airports, I had the best customer service, drivers, pricing, etc.. Our plane was delayed 2 1/2 hours, yet we were not delayed in being picked up, right at the curb outside of the baggage claim doors! Kim & Abraham were fantastic! I was impressed with their safe driving, navigation, courtesy. We had children & they provided the required carseats & boosters, no extra charge! We had 14 of us, which required 2 Shuttle vans. I have an electric mobility scooter, which easily fit. The prices were more than fair and competitive. Returning to Long Beach Airport was just as great. They said they'd be there at a certain time and they were. No waiting. Dropped off at the curb in front of the terminal. I will definitely use them again. I recommend them 100%. We were quoted $135 for our trip. the van showed up and smelt terrible like urine. The woman drove so pourly we all got car sick. Upon drop off she charged us $190 after we paid cash tip (which she didnt deserve). when questioning the added charge they said it was $175. So nothing about the pricing adds up. I called 3 other shuttle companies that advertised private airport transfers and could also provide car seats before finally deciding to use their service. Payless actually listened to my instructions. The car seat was rear facing and the straps were where they should have been for a 32" tall toddler. Every other time I have used a shuttle service that claims to provide car seats (15x as of today) and specifically requested a rear-facing convertible car seat for a 30lb 32" toddler, the car seat has either been forward facing or extremely wobbly. Whomever it was that picked up the phone seemed unfriendly, condescending and kind of snippy. I had asked if they could offer a lower price due to their Long Beach location relative to others based in Los Angeles, she responded by saying I should just use another service if I could find something cheaper. (I mean jeez.. I was just asking.) In the end, they did have the best price if only marginally. When it was time for a pick-up, I called to ask her if the shuttle driver could please pick me up from the Downtown Disney pick-up spot by the ESPN Zone because it would be closer for me, the condescending tone returned and she said she didnt understand how it could be closer and that I just needed to walk out the park and turn left. I asked for a change of location because we were at Earl of Sandwich grabbing my daughter's dinner since I knew we would have no other opportunity to eat before arriving in Oakland at 10pm, well past my 22 month old's bedtime. I didn't feel like arguing and at that point, I could have probably run faster than it would take to explain/discuss the why/how and then wait for her to do the same with the shuttle driver. Fortunately, the shuttle driver (Dan) was polite, friendly, efficient, and thoughtful. He arrived earlier than promised and when I explained that everything was delayed due to some boat traffic on It's a Small World ride (seriously), he seemed more concerned about me missing my flight than I was! (I was actually freaking out internally, I've just learned not to show it as often now that I have an uber sensitive toddler who very quickly reacts to and mimics my emotions.) He got me the airport in record time and even offered for me to pay for the shuttle during the ride to reduce any further delays. Dragging car seats around airports is a real hassle, so before going on our last vacation we wanted to find a shuttle service that provided car seats so that we didn't have to bring our own. Payless Airport Shuttle seems to be one of few shuttle services in LA that provide car seats for securing small children in LA traffic, so we chose to book with them. We didn't regret it. On departure the driver was 10 minutes early, but parked outside the building and waited for us. On arrival we sent a text to PAS once the flight had landed, and called their number once we had picked up our bags. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the driver to get to the terminal and pick us up. Long enough for tired kids to start getting anxious, but still not too bad. Came into LGB from PHX and had to make a VERY quick connection to go on a cruise at the Long Beach Port. I was very nervous but after reading reviews here I decided to call Payless and have a taxi meet me at the airport. It was $40 and worth EVERY penny. Other places were more expensive but did not have these reviews. The taxi lady was ON TIME even earlier than she was supposed to. Got me there ON TIME and did not take the long way. She was pleasant and I even had a nice convo with her. If you're coming out of town and looking for something reliable and reasonable don't look any further! read more

Their rates are extremely reasonable for a group. We always had 10 people and filled the van each time. The van was clean and comfortable. This was my first time booking or taking a shuttle so I did extensive research and looked through countless YELP reviews to find a shuttle. I was flying down to LAX for a Carnival Cruise in Long Beach. Unfortunately San Jose doesn't have direct flights to LB therefore i had to book a shuttle for my group of 7. I read how nightmarish a lot of other shuttle companies were so i was very hesitant about the whole shuttle ordeal in general. For 1, i didnt wanna be the one in charge of book the shuttle and have something happen and screw it up for the other 6 people. I found their yelp, went to their website and requested an online quote. Was emailed within the next 10 hours, $80 for a one way trip from LAX to Long Beach Cruise Terminal (van seats 8 passengers if i recall correctly) which came out to be much cheaper than doing the Carnival airport transfer. They ask to put a credit card on file but allow you to pay cash day of or have your card charged. Simple process; they email you information on what to do when you get there. Text/Call to let them know you landed then text/call again to let them know that you have your baggage and waiting curbside, then driver would arrive within 5 mins. Reason why I didn't give them 5 stars was because our driver wasn't too personable and didnt come off too friendly. Her driving was a little scary but we did get there in one piece. Only time she talked to us was at the end to let us know the red shuttles take us to the Long Beach Downtown area. Other than that, Payless Shuttle exceeded my expectations and made my first shuttle experience quite smooth. read more

Needed a shuttle service that provided a car seat for my 2.5 year old from SNA to hotel near Disneyland. Just had to include in request. Reasonable prices. Our flight was delayed into SNA and I was able to email them letting them know about the delay with a timely response. I received a text message to notify them when we landed. We were picked up curbside with minimal waiting. Vehicle was a large passenger van and was clean. Driver was very friendly and pleasant. They picked us up after the cruise to take us back to the airport (again) on time and no problems. Very nice people. We are using them again 8/26 for another transport to the cruise terminal. If I can give zero I would. The driver was 30 minutes late for pick -up and didn't apologize. Kept us waiting with anxious kids. AND on the return... 1 HOUR late!!!! So we prepaid for a shuttle to and from the cruise terminal. Our ride there was fine. But we called over an hour ago to be picked up. Said they would be here in 30 min and we are still waiting. We called to inquire about the hold up and they said they were just leaving LAX. We said we are waiting in the sun with a man in a wheelchair and have flights to catch. Having had no- show experience from taxi co. which will remain nameless I insisted that driver be on time when making reservation for 4:30 am. In fact driver showed at 4:10. She graciously waited while I finished breakfast. The driver had a very gentle driving style, much appreciated so early in the morning. The van was clean and apparently well maintained. I was headed to Disneyland from Long Beach Airport by myself with three kids. I wasn't looking forward to the drive and based on previous reviews I contacted Payless. It was a life saver! I filled out the form online got a quote and then confirmed my reservation. I switched hotels and let them know. When I got to the airport I called to let them know that I had arrived and the van was there very promptly and it was spotless. The drive was actually really pleasant. I paid using square and they emailed me my receipt upon arrival- Seamless. I called on the morning of my departure to remind them that I had moved hotels they said yes that had already noted it. When I went down after checkout they were waiting for us and I had been texted that the driver was outside. It was just one less thing to worry about and all my interactions with the drivers and staff were very pleasant. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
