They were the most affordable option out of all the private transfers I looked into. I communicated with Sam by email and he was quick to reply. Our driver texted the evening before to confirm, and again when he was on his way the next morning. He drove a very large shuttle van with plenty of room for our double wide stroller and 3 pieces of luggage. If you request car seats, I suggest telling them the weight of your kids. I requested 2 forward facing car seats but our driver arrived with 1 forward facing car seat and 1 high back booster seat. Both my girls are under 35 pounds and the high back booster is for kids over 40 pounds so I wasn't very comfortable with that but we didn't really have a choice. I'd recommend they ask if the child weighs enough to use a booster before swapping it out. FYI they only take cash and they do not drive to/from Ontario airport. read more

SCAM. They tied the classic "bait and switch" by pretending our driver did not show up and offering a more expensive option instead knowing all along this was the plan. I don't write reviews often because I'm easy to please and hate to say anything negative when I feel service has been adequate. I have traveled all over the world and booked multiple tours and shuttles (some with no reviews) that were excellent without any issues. My experience with this company was atrocious. I have had better shuttle services in the middle of the Amazon rainforest in Bolivia than this LAX scammer. We had a confirmed reservation. Our plane was delayed. "Samuel Espinosa" assured by gmail email (with photos of the "van" they had for the pick up) they were following the flight but stated they had no phone number for me so had to use email (similar to other poor google reviews that have been removed...they accused the client of providing the wrong phone number). I promptly sent my phone number and offered WhatsApp as an option as well. This was ignored and communication through email continued. Red flag! On arrival I emailed and was told to go to baggage claim and notify when there. I did so and was instructed to tell them what pillar we were located at on exiting the airport. That was done efficiently after bathroom breaks for 8 people and waiting for bags. Then we waited. For 30 MINUTES. No response to any email. I tried to call the number on the website and left a message. No response. Then approximately 3 minutes after I called a guy in full suit came out from the airport doors and offered us a "ride" for $250usd plus tax and tip (previous quote was $165 plus tax and 20% tip) but we had 8 people and bags so would need to pay for two of these special rides (with no credentials but they insisted they were "official" drivers). Uber black at that time was only $150 for an SUV. Surely we looked liked total idiots if they thought we would go for that. They offered to take us for the uber black price when they realised we were not as dumb as they thought. We refused and Instead we booked the uber blacks x2. Costed double but we had no choice. Luckily I had brought along my child's ride safer car seat (awesome but that I would recommend if you travel and need car portable car seats) for short Ubers so we did not have to worry about the lack of a car seat. Not sure what we would have done without it. Uber black was (as expected) amazing. Clean, new cars, with very polite and helpful drivers. Wish I had not bothered with the shuttle service at all. Wasted hours of valuable time which meant we could not get up early to go to Disney the next day. While we would not let it destroy our trip it did destroy my impression of LA and LAX. I've travelled the world and always been very careful about scams but the biggest scammers I have met thus far in my travels to over 40 countries is this company. Maybe I have just been lucky. Or perhaps because it was LA I let my guard down a bit and was a bit lax in usually due diligence. While on our way to Anaheim I did get some very inappropriate emails from the "driver" including one that said "any luck" when it was clear we were looking for alternative transport. When I indicated I knew it was a scam he changed his tune saying "the police made me move to terminal 1" and "I've been here all this time." It was 2am with plenty of space for cars and no police in sight with very few flights arriving at this time. Nobody made him move. He either never existed or took another group that offered more $ than he was going to get from us and then left his friends to scam us. They knew we were standing there waiting, tired, desperate for a ride and instead tried to use that as an opportunity to scam us. This company is an embarrassment to Los Angeles and airport shuttles everywhere. If you want to risk it and book anyway to save a few $$$ then go ahead but it could end up costing a lot more than that including valuable vacation time. I would stay far away. Their price was reasonable but not that much better than others, they include the car seat so was $15 cheaper than others and had such glowing reviews on Yelp I assumed it was a safe bet. They had ONE google review that echoed my experience which has since conveniently disappeared. Not sure why the yelp reviews are decent. Perhaps they figured that all reviews don't have to be good and they could mess up a few reservations and try to make some money off it. Unfortunate because I try to tip well and if my airport trip goes well I tend to make more bookings for the rest of the trip but instead we rented a car and used uber/lyft as we were too traumatised by our airport experience. I'll just stick with Uber Black at LAX from now on. I'd rather pay double than ever deal with a company like this again. read more

I was a little hesitant and to be honest, a little worried that I'd regret booking them, given several 1 star reviews they've recently received.. but thankfully we had a great experience with literally no complaints. Communication through email with Sam to ask questions and to book was simple and timely. Best of all and reason why we ultimately went with LAX Airport Shuttle and not other transportation/shuttle companies was that their price was better than the other quotes we received (from 5 other companies). As soon as we landed at LAX, our shuttle driver (I forget his name) texted us to let us know he was already there waiting for us. I was so relieved to know we would not be waiting around for him to arrive (especially since we had two toddlers with us). The shuttle fit our group perfectly and had two carseats installed just as we had requested. Our driver was kind, and got us to the cruise terminal we needed to get to in a timely manner. Such a seamless process. The communication was quick and clear with Sam. We booked months in advance for six people (2 children) and needed two car seats. The driver showed up at the airport with car seats installed. We quickly were able to load all luggage up and be on our way. The driver picked us up right on time for our trip back to the airport as well. Very friendly and appreciated having options to pay. We paid via Venmo. Our one thing we would have loved is just an explanation of the process when booking. For example, just a quick email that explains how a driver will reach out through text or phone call the day prior to confirm. Pretty minor but it would help alleviate some travel stress. Sam in the office was very kind and accommodating with our reservation and flight delay issue and always quick to respond to emails. And David, our chauffeur, was the perfect gentleman, a charming host and very prompt. His driving skills are excellent! The van was plain white, in excellent condition and very clean inside and out, oh, and it smelled great. My grandson lost his expensive sunglasses somewhere in Disneyland...or so he thought...turns out he had left them in the van. David had found them, didn't know who they belonged to, but when picking us up for the return trip asked if anyone in our group had lost sunglasses...the grandson, (and his parents), were very impressed. Made a reservation with this company in February for a transport from the cruise terminal in Long Beach to LAX. We had four adults and one child with numerous pieces of luggage so we wanted to be sure we had something that could fit us all. On the last day of our cruise we were notified that we would be arriving a little later than expected. I notified them and kept them updated on our expected time of arrival. Once we were able to disembark from the cruise ship we head out to meet our driver. I check my phone and see that I have a text from our driver stating "let me know when your plane lands". WTH? This was a transport from the cruise terminal to LAX, which my email confirmation clearly stated. Not the other way around. We were already stressing about making our flight since we were late getting into port and then have to deal with this? The driver then tells me he will be there in 20 minutea to pick us up...which with LA traffic, I'm very doubtful would have been the case. Thank goodness for Uber who was there in two minutes to save the day!! This mistake is totally unacceptable and I don't recommend using them at all. We very well could have missed our flight because of this. read more

I would never recommend this business to anyone. We had a shuttle reservation to take us from our hotel to LAX and they just didn't show up! We had to scramble last minute to find a back up shuttle (which cost more) in order to barely make it to the airport on time. No one at the business answered our frantic calls trying to figure out why the driver wasn't there. We finally got a response to an email hours later which said, "Hello  I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, the driver got sick during the night and he couldn't wake up in time. Thank you! Sam" That's it. No one called us to let us know they wouldn't be coming, nothing. When my wife called and demanded a refund, they refused initially until she got to a manager who finally agreed to pay us back. However two weeks later they emailed us and said, "I'm very sorry the company doesn't want to pay that much, they're not reliable because the driver got sick." Now we are only getting $100 back. I don't know how a business can operate this way, but it is absurb. Stay away if you can. If you do book with them, don't count on them being there every time. We had a large group (18) coming into LAX on three different flights to go to the cruise terminal. Our flight from SLC was delayed so we arrived after the American Airlines flight that we gave Sam so the vans were waiting at the AA bag claim area. We contacted David and he and Abe came over to the United Airlines claim area and picked us up promptly. We had a 1 1/2 year old baby with us and a car seat was provided. We used this shuttle to go to and from LAX AND our Disneyland hotel. The company was very quick to respond to email and was very flexible when we requested an earlier pick up than what was planned. Excellent service and prompt pick up! The drivers , Abe and David, were very friendly and were in contact with us to confirm times. This was one of the few shuttles that offered car seats as well, which we appreciated as we travelled with our toddlers. Our flight was scheduled to arrive at LAX airport at 10 pm. Unfortunately, due to delay and change of schedule, it arrived at 12:35 am instead. Sam was very quick in responding to our notification of changes. As soon as we arrived at the LAX airport, the driver Six has arrived and was very efficient and patient. He called and texted us immediately. I was traveling with 3 kids and my husband. We felt it was a huge relief to know that someone is there to pick us up to our hotel. We were very lucky that our driver Six was patient, friendly, and supportive because he ended it up waiting another hour for us to meet him. He had to wait for us to file a lost baggage with our airline. I highly recommend this business for any transportation needs because first, the manager Sam was very responsive to changes. We scheduled a round trip shuttle from LAX to Disneyland. The driver was early for pick up from the airport and was communicative regarding where to go for the van. The price was decent compared to other options and included car seats. That's where the positives end. The driver told us that we were his first pickup because the van had been in the shop all day and gotten "most" of the problems fixed. I could see on the dashboard that the check engine light and other issue lights were on. When it was time for pick up, we had emailed twice to Sam earlier in the week that we needed to change our pick up time to be 1.5 hours earlier. Both emails were confirmed by Sam, however when our new pick up time came, no shuttle came. After calling and leaving a message, Sam called back saying we had the wrong time. It was a frustrating experience given that the new time had been confirmed twice. read more

Juan picked up six of us (including two infants needing car seats). He had to wait as our plan was delayed after landing and baggage claim took forever. However, he provided great communication as to where he would be and was extremely patient. He was also very helpful with all our bags. The price for our trip was extremely reasonable. I'm Canadian and was flying round-trip from Vancouver with 4 adults and 2 very young kids, The quoted pricing was very reasonable, with a detailed breakdown of the basic charge, gratuity and tax. One booster seat and one baby car seat were included free of extra charge (some other shuttle companies charge rip-off prices). Abbie was our driver both ways and he was very pleasant and delivered punctual, safe and comfortable trips. He kept in touch with us via WhatsApp, which we appreciate very much as we travelled from Canada and were without USA cell service. We strongly recommend this shuttle service! Additional Note: Despite being an international airport, the Wifi at LAX was spotty near the shuttle pick up area which inconvenienced and disappoints us very much. Booked a trip from airport to Disney well in advance of trip. We did make a change to the return portion but not arrival ( also gave plenty of notice for this). I received an email saying we would be contacted when we landed. Our flight landed about 5 minutes early and we heard nothing. So we waited 10 minutes after the flight should have landed and heard nothing. I called and no one answered. I emailed and no one answered. We ended up taking an Uber. I finally emailed them 3 hours after we should have been picked up to cancel our return trip and was told they were sorry and they would cancel it. No explanation or attempt to make it right. Abbie took my group from the SGV area to LAX on Monday morning for 9 people. He arrived early and got us to LAX early and safely. Everything was smooth and easy. On my return trip, my flight was delayed twice. No problem. Bobby tracked our flight status. We were originally planned to arrive at 9:30. We arrived at 11pm. I texted him when I landed. I went to the passenger shuttle area and he picked us up in 10 minutes or less. All nine of us got back to the SGV area safely and quick. I am impressed with the entire experience. We couldn't have asked for better service. Our flight was cancelled on our morning out due to the Alaska pilot information picket and Sam stayed in touch with us throughout the day. As soon as we had a new flight, Sam got us in contact with our new driver and contact number. The driver texted us as we landed and was efficient. We took another shuttle from Anaheim to Huntington Beach and again Sam communicated well with driver contact information. The driver called 30 minutes prior to pick up time and even texted us to let us know he would be 10-15 minutes late due to traffic. Our last ride from Huntington Beach to LAX, again the driver texted 1 hour before pick up time with information on how to pay to make it easy. She communicated the whole time and how far out she was. I used this shuttle service to transport my 3 month old grandson & family from LAX to Hermosa Beach. The driver, David was outstanding arriving on time, with a clean car and needed car seat. He took care of our luggage and made sure the car seat was properly attached. On the return trip he even took us to the Covid testing site by the airport for our pre-boarding test. LAX Airport Shuttle was amazing for our family of 10, including 3 kids needing car seats. They picked us up right as our plane landed (they monitored the flight arrival time) with car seats all buckled in, and took us to our Disneyland hotel. Two days later, they were flexible with a time change, and picked us up to take us to Universal Studios, again with 3 car seats all buckled in. Finally, again being flexible about time changes, they picked us up and took us back to LAX. They communicated well both by email and text. They were awesome, on time, and highly communicative. Using their easy service was less expensive than renting and parking two cars for our family of 10 for 5 days. I recommend them highly. read more

However, now that we've got a little one with all his assorted gear, plus had two grandparents in tow, we needed something bigger with a fixed rate and -- as important -- a fixed pickup time. Enter LAX Airport Shuttle. It was extremely easy to book with prompt responses. Juan, our van driver, was the exemplar of promptness, courtesy, and kindness both to and from the airport. Landing at LAX at 5am after a redeye is not the ideal way to end a vacation, but having Juan waiting curbside and getting us home quickly made it so much more bearable. I booked Airport Express Shuttle to LAX and the driver was half an hour late!! when we arrived I gave him a 10 dollar tip and he would not leave, so I gave him an extra 5 dollars! He still insisted saying that he had to pay for his gas and I should give him $ 48 tip!!! He was practically harassing me! I told him the tip was complementary and that means it is not mandatory! I have used many other shuttles and have never had any problems with them! I phoned the company when I returned from my trip and they were extremely rude and practically hung up on me.
