We got beef, pork, and lamb skewers for $8.50 total which was so worth it. You can choose spicy or non spicy and we went spicy. The beef was the most average of the three, the lamb was better, and the pork was delicious. If you are in the area definitely give this place a try!

While it appears as "Young Xinjiang" online, the owners have confirmed this cart is nameless despite what the rest of the internet says. (#1) Open until 1A.M nightly, they have steadily maintained one of the best street food options in the Chinatown vicinity. Gone are the days where the skewers were $1. Thanks largely to food inflation, each one now varies between $2.00 and $4. While it's a steep increase, the meats have remained excellent in quality and in today's economy would be considered a very good deal. Their most popular options include lamb and beef, both aptly at $3 each. The meats are grilled over charcoal, and make for an excellent snack at any time. Chili powder is highly recommended for a small kick but delicious finish. Duck skin ($3) is a sleeper pick, and the beef tendon ($2.50) is excellent and is their most tender choice. Squid ($3.50) can be incredible if grilled well, and I would highly recommend avoiding the Italian sausage ($4) completely. Vegetarian options such as eggplant, king oyster mushroom, corn, or rice cake feel a bit overpriced at nearly $3 each. As per usual, everything is cash only. Given the price point, friendly service, and high quality meats, this nameless cart (#2) is an excellent option for a late night goers and carnivore lovers. ANYWAYS, WOW, what an extreme disappoint is all I can say. They were offering their Pad Thai which was described as "Award winning Bangkok street style wok-fried noodles with tofu, scallion, bean sprouts, egg and peanut". Let me tell you, this Pad thai they gave out was the WORST pad thai I've ever had in my life. First of all, it looked absolutely NOTHING like the photo. (The photos look effing amazing). The entire dish was plain, flavorless and sauceless. The noodles were plain white, no added sauce or anything like it. They were definitely not wok fried as described but tasted like they were plain boiled. Image boiling a box of pasta, straining it and then eating it JUST like that. That's exactly what this entire dish tasted like. There was no tofu, scallion or bean sprouts. I had to add SRIRACHA to the dish for flavor. You don't add sriracha to pad thai!!! But I was desperate for some flavor. I'm sorry but WHY would you demolish your entire dish just because you're on a college campus? I'm sure the school is paying you very well to be there and what you did is basically RIP THEM OFF. Does the school know you did that? Or did you tell them beforehand that you're going to revamp your dishes for the worst because this is a school event? I'd love to know. No wonder the Halal line was almost 10 times as long. People probably know the deal. This was my fist school event so I had nothing to go by. If you can provide a valid explanation I will take down this post. Trevor and crew prepared and served passed hors d'oeuvres, then followed up with a full dinner buffet and a snack that could be ordered at the truck. Everyone raved about the food, which was certainly worth raving about! We particularly enjoyed the bao buns, holy basil stir fry with japanese eggplant, waterfall hanger steak, and chicken satay. I am not a fan of mayo but I am sure that the garlic mayo takes this lobster roll to another level. The cart also had nicer colors and pictures, and of course, it had a sticker saying it was recommended by the Midtown Lunch (ML) blog. Unfortunately, this is one time I will have disagree with Zach (ML blogger). I am definitely not a fan of my street meat being chopped up to pieces like minced meat. The lamb and chicken were also quite dry, and the same goes for the rice as well. But on the positive side, the chicken/lamb combo over rice was definitely less oily than the same combo at the La Baguette Cafe cart a block away. A meal at most street carts now cost north of $6, so it was still quite a treat to see every platter on this menu at only $5 each. Despite the mediocre combo, I'd still be interested in trying the Kofta Kebab and Shrimp over rice. Anytime you get seafood over anything for $5, that is a good deal.

In concurrence with the post, it's a good and filling deal for $5. Of course it's nothing gourmet, but it's better than what you would expect from a street cart. I made the mistake of letting them douse my plate with too much spicy hot sauce though. After ordering the said fish over rice, I saw the vendor preparing a Lamb Pita ($3) and it looked so good, so I decided to return for today's lunch. It was tasty, but again they put on too much hot sauce. Little Morocco distinguishes itself by including cilantro and sweet corn in its dishes (along with the usual suspects of tomato and lettuce). The prices are great here, and the dishes taste good. It's a win win situation on the NE corner of W 39th St & 7th Ave.
