I went there almost a year ago, I still think about this place to this day. It was a beautiful relaxing experience. Truly one of the best spa days yet. Everything was clean and thoughtful. Like between the salt soak and the colors and hues of the room it just was an overall mesmerizing experience. You must try! They have the cutest bags, jewelry, and lovely scented items. Hoping to make my way back one day!! Late but overdue review

My husband and I had a magical and deeply restful time here a couple of years ago. We rented the room with the sauna (you can ladle eucalyptus-scented water over the hot stones to steam it up) and beautiful hot pool and were able to really relax and not do anything for an hour and a half. I would seriously recommend this as a way to get away from everything and be in a very warm, comfortable, gorgeously aquamarine space filled with hot saltwater. It's worth every penny.

Oh my heavens this place is a heck yeah in my book. I try to do a night away to Port Townsend every year and almost always reserve myself an hour here. It is so relaxing, affordable, professional, calming and perfect. No shoes but yes service! Definitely purchase the coconut oil balm for after. Drinks are available; no outside food or drink. Go alone or with friends or loved ones. Relax in a salt water tub all to yourself for 40-50 minutes! Shower before and after (showers are in the hot tub rooms; bathrooms are off the lobby). I suggest getting out of the tub a bit early--before the bell--so you have more time to dry off, oil up, and dress before floating out into a blissful rest of your day. Don't look at your phone once; do sit in peace and enjoy the ambiance & music.

Lovely reception and environment. Enjoyed the soak as a welcome retreat. Very soothing!

My third visit to soak on the sound even better than the first two! I really enjoyed coming during a colder month when the hot water chases away the autumn chill. I had a delicious kombucha, a private bath, and ordered a spoonful of balsam scented oil to rub into my skin afterwards. It's always over too soon but I sat on the patio enjoying my newly refreshed self before heading back out to the ferry.

We had a great experience. Came for a quick trip to port Townsend with my husband and was able to snag a last minute 50 min soak sesh here and I'm so glad we did. It was a very relaxing bonding time. We soaked in the Tide room. The ambiance was nice; loved the brick walls. The water and room appeared well cleaned and sanitized. We ordered the package that came with a drink. We will definitely come back and reserve the suite with the sauna during our next visit to Port Townsend. You do have to keep your volume down--we were shushed while talking at normal volume in our room, something to consider if you plan to soak with friends or whatnot.

We came from Camas to celebrate our anniversary and spend time together away from our children for the first time. When we arrived to check in we were greeted by Angelina amd Martino Silva and told I booked our reservation for NEXT Friday. Before I could panic or cry I saw them both studying the schedule and with a smile was asked to come back in 40 minutes and they would accommodate us. When we came back they had the public room as a private suite for us and charged us the same price we were ready to pay previously. The room, the music, the obeisance was everything We relaxed, connected and already started planning our trip back. This was the start to our weekend here is Port Townsend and Angelina and Martino have already made our entire weekend. We are beyond grateful.

Private bath (Flow), very large, with a mobility assist bar. Perfect temp!

Brilliant experience, can't wait to make a return trip. The staff were exceptional in their helpfulness and by all appearances covid controls were fully being observed. I chose just the basic soak in a private room after a long camping trip. It was exquisite, and very clean. For being in a somewhat busy town, it was very quiet and serene. I went in with a very ache body and badly injured knee, I emerged relaxed and my pain had substantially subsided.

Did a 60 minute private soak for two with my girlfriend. You remove your shoes before walking into the room, get undressed, shower and then enter the bath. Man it's so relaxing. Be sure to drink plenty of water as the salt will dehydrate you! Felt great after leaving the place.

Great Picts if the facilities on their web site.

Took a wonderful vacation so far and added luxury, peace and even deeper relaxation. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I'm so relaxed right now, I can't remember her name. Bonus factor was super easy parking and close proximity to a few sites, stores and eateries to round out the day.

Only good thing from the valentine package
    Corinne G.

It was a joke. We paid $107 for the valentine bath soak which came with "champagne and organic chocolates" as shown in photos we paid for baby cans of champagne (it was white wine) and two tiny chocolates. Adding on they don't allow you to wear shoes which is fine, we were not greeted until our shoes were off. But the least they could do is dry the dang floors!! We left with drenched socks! We seriously have never been so upset from a service. It was insanely hot in there to the point we couldn't even stay for the 30min. The tub was just standing water no jets or anything. The only thing we actually enjoyed was the lotion mask stuff that's it. We will not be returning or recommending this place. Such a waste of time and money. Such a shame.

[Note: no extra plush blankets provided, but the in-room heater was good]. Reviews of the water front motels in Port Townsend mentioned bed bugs which scared me and led me to book here. You should think about staying at Mansera Castle if you like character and history because the building has a palpable sense of olden times built into the architecture, the creaky stairs, the narrower door frames, and the oldest working elevator in the state (it's a bit like a freight elevator with brocade dressing). However, the lack of accessible entryway (a flight of steep stairs to get inside) and an antique elevator that is only operable by hotel staff should warn off people with limited mobility, injuries etc. I used the wonderful WiFi for a night of iPad entertainment while toasty under the covers. It was a fun experience for a night, but it might have been louder had the hotel been full. Nearing Christmas, the hotel staff had decorated the erstwhile Victorian-era wealthy resident's home parlor. This was rather charming to see and definitely not replicable in a sterile, modern hotel chain. This vast building was subsequently used as a Jesuit boarding house for decades. The hotel amenities are barebones relative to a modern hotel chain where you might expect a writing desk fitted with desk lamps, and numerous outlets, etc. My room came with TV, refrigerator, a coffee machine and insufficient wall outlets. Even the internal phone system was non existent. Downstairs lobby has coffee in the morning. No breakfast included in the price. The whole historical immersion experience is unique however.

The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, which was nice because it was a couple of hot days. There was ample parking, and the motel was within half a mile of the charming downtown area. There were many dining options, including pizza, Thai, homestyle, breakfast, coffee shops, ice cream, etc. Lots of shopping and art shops, also. The check-in process was easy, and the staff were nice. Although the carpet on the walkway outside the doors was worn, housekeepers were cleaning the lighting fixtures and dusting under the walkway roof, which tells me they care about keeping the environment clean. The carpet and fixtures in our room were in good shape and worked well. The pool and spa are out of commission because they are doing renovations, but there is a nice green area downstairs from the pool building, which was good for our dog to stretch his legs and relieve himself.

After we arrived the couple in the room next to us went into their room and we realized we could hear everything they said. I quickly struck up a conversation with my partner so that they would also know the walls didn't provide privacy. Those neighbors were awesome and were quiet and polite the entire time. Unfortunately, the neighbors upstairs went out to party and came back between 12am and 1am... The first person clomping up the stairs woke me and was slightly annoying, but when the drunk people started arriving giggling, talking loudly, and falling around up the stairs - that was annoying! I don't know if it was the same group or other guests, but after being woke up the 4th or 5th time - I was pretty frustrated and had trouble getting back to sleep. I told the front desk clerk in the morning, and he apologized saying he'd talk to the guests staying upstairs. Instead of enjoying Port Townsend the next day, we just drove the 2 hours home in the morning so we could get some sleep. II doubt I'll splurge (nearly $300 for the sleepless night) at this hotel again due to the noise issues. Maybe the cabins would be a better experience. And likely this was just situational - if all the guests were like the people in the room next to us, we would have had a much better experience. Pros: - Friendly Staff - Dog friendly rooms - with nice dog beds and a dog welcome basket that includes dog treats, poo bags, info on dog friendly businesses in the area, and towels to wipe the dog paws - Comfortable bed and pillows - Great location - On site parking Cons: - Lack of sound proofing - you hear everything around you - Expensive
