I've never met three guys more passionate about a bar of lye in my life. The two brothers plus their pal make soaps, lip balms and more to make your skin feel great and smell like a garden. Sabun (pronounced "sah-boon", rhymes with baboon) means soap in many different languages. Sabun bar soap is cruelty-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and halal, meaning it is in line with Muslim tradition and does not contain alcohol or pork fat. Their excitement for soap makes me excited for soap. These gents are chock-full of information and are eager to share their story and teach others their soapy soap making ways, which is why they now offer soap-making workshops and classes! Note: it is a little tricky to find their manufacturing/workshop location, so I recommend turning on Wylie St. It's in a yellow/brown building in suite 903. I was gifted a bar of their Bitter Almond and just received my second delivery. This stuff is awesome. Just as a fluke, I was using this to wash my face and my skin cleared up! It has all of the trendy ingredients (i.e. natural, vegan, halal, etc.), and they're all handmade! Easy to use online ordering system, great quality, vegan products and super personable people. I haven't been into the location but its definitely on my agenda.. appears to be a nice, clean (lol) environment with a humble vibe. The Soapy Soap Company produces great products under their Sabun brand. We discovered their soaps and chapsticks at the Yelp Bazaar in Indy a few years ago. We have some flower allergies in our household, so I appreciate that they offer so many non-floral soap options. Artisanal soap shops are popping up all over the place these days but what sets these guys apart from the rest is the quality of their work and the customer service they provide. You can make you own soaps in their website as well as sign up for recurring deliveries (3 options). They have a wide selection of scents and all of which are made with high quality natural ingredients. No chemicals or irritants to be found! I have very sensitive skin and their products keep my skin soft and glowing. They are also incredibly talented self-taught craftsmen. They sell a variety of frames, candle holders and small planters all made from walnut! I just had to buy a picture frame when I saw them. I also snagged some sweet matching coasters! My armpits that you Soapy Soap! While visiting Bloomington I picked up a bar of the shave soap and my armpits are singing its praises! The price is fair for the size of the bar and has kept its size after being used multiple times. Although, that was the only bar I purchased at that time I was impressed by the variety of soaps they have and was interested in all of the different bases they had that targeted different skin types. Huge thumbs up! A friend and I were excited about making our own soap. The site lets you pick a bar for dry skin or normal, what type and how much Essential Oils you want and they also have a little chart where they show you what makes the best blends. You can also pick if you want to put coffee granules, colloidal oats etc for exfoliation. In addition you can name your soap and pick out which type of sticker and ribbon will go on it, perfect for a gift. We ordered two soaps apiece and when we received a beautifully packed box we also had three sample soaps to try as well as a lavender lip balm. Extremely pleased with everything, beautifully fragrant and I will definitely be ordering more for Christmas. read more

I have used their soaps for a few years now. Best thing I've ever done for my skin. I love the Power Bubble. Comes in some lovely fragrance combinations.
