I've been coming to this car wash since it opened in 1992. It was always the best car wash around…read more Hands down. A few years back they changed owners and... things went downhill quickly. I'd actually stopped coming after a series of PATHETIC car washes- really bad. Seems like the crew at the end of the tunnel liked to stand around and do almost nothing... snapping towels at each other and studiously ignoring the customers. Windows and wheels were always dirty as hell and, frankly, for the amount of cleaning that I had to do AFTER the car wash- it seemed pointless to throw away $29.00. Fast forward to this past spring (2023) and I REALLY needed a car wash- I was taking the long way to work - through Butler to 287 -and I threw a Hail Mary and stopped at Wash Hounds. Keeping my expectations VERY low, I was wildly surprised! There was a young (Russian? Polish? ) guy at the computer and he tried upselling me to a monthly pass. I told him, point blank, that I hadn't had any good experiences here for quite some time and that they'd really need to knock the ball out of the park if they wanted my business. My car looked like it had been detailed when I came outside from paying. Seriously- it was perfect. Spotless windows, gleaming wheels, everything dried, cleaned, vacuumed, and looking like I did the job myself. I came back the next day and signed up for the unlimited plan. As the summer wore on, the Russian kid vanished and the service started slipping. I finally cancelled the plan at the end of November, as I don't wash my car all that often in the winter (I go when it really needs a good bath, but- you know- not often enough to warrant $60/month) My car needed a little spiffing up before we started all the Christmas shopping, etc. so I stopped at wash hounds this morning and the evolution (or I suppose this would be de-evolution) was complete. Awful job. The guys at the end of the car wash were just snapping towels at each other and basically standing around doing very little. Flashback, man. Far out. I parked my car a few spaces down from where the crew was wiping down cars and spent 20 minutes with a spray bottle of cleaner and a towel (out of my trunk... I'm a bit anal about my car) and spiffed it up to the point that satisfied me. I cleaned the wheels- they were filthy. I cleaned the entire interior - looked like they hadn't even wiped it down, never-mind. CLEANED it. I wiped down all the door jambs and trunk jambs- they were all dripping water. I rolled the windows down a few inches and cleaned/dried the top of the glass that was still wet and soapy. If I had windex with me, I'd have re-done the rear window and the windshield- pathetic. So- we're back to "stay the hell away." If you REALLY want to come to wash hounds - pull 30 bucks out of your wallet- rip it up and keep driving. You'll have the same experience and you'll save yourself 20 minutes and a day of frustration thinking about your wasted money. I MAY come back in the Spring to see if things have changed... but I really need a place that is consistent. Wash Hounds is truly hit-or-miss with the "misses" being all too common. They need to find a manager that knows what he's doing and has experience dealing both with customers AND with lazy-ass employees.

this is the worst car wash I've ever gotten they left all my wheels dirty stains in the car still…read moreand didn't even put armor all on all my tires I had to grab it all myself and actually do it all before I left 40 down the drain I'll stick with Paterson had ca washes they are cheaper an do a way better job and it's all by hand
