Stopped in on a Wednesday night after dinner and was delighted to find there were plenty of spots at the bar and even better, the music was an appropriate level! I had taken this place off of my rotation for a while, early on, because it was often so busy, difficult to get a drink and super loud. My daughter and I have a yearly tradition of exploring downtown bars and restaurants to celebrate our birthdays, something we genuinely look forward to. This year, Tequila Daisy made the cut after weeks of narrowing things down. I had my drink picked out, we were excited, we showed up... and then we were completely ignored. We sat at the bar right in front of the register -- prime real estate for being noticed, or so we thought. The bartender was busy but not overwhelmed. We waited patiently. I went to the bathroom (10-minute ordeal, of course), left my card with my daughter, fully expecting to return to drinks being made. Instead, I walk back to find my daughter still sitting there unacknowledged while an entire group who arrived well after us was being served over her shoulder. No eye contact. No "I'll be right with you." Just total disregard. We left. No drinks, no service, just a big "what just happened?" moment. If you enjoy being completely ignored while others get the VIP treatment just for existing, Tequila Daisy might be your spot. Otherwise... hard pass. Monica is the best bartender I've ever had! She made my birthday so special and was just so awesome to talk to. They have an amazing industry special too on Mondays if you're in hospitality. Cute place with great bartenders. Stopped in with friends for the grand opening/tequila tasting. They were passing out various cocktails, shots, and a seltzer. They also had various swag throughout the bar. One of the owners stopped to see if we were enjoying everything. We liked everything but one drink. It just wasn't for us, but the coconut tequila drink and the Paloma were tasty. Stopped in for after dinner drinks with some friends on a Saturday night. The ambience is pretty cool and there was a DJ. The tequila menu is very extensive. The tequila cocktails that we ordered were a bit disappointing though. Could be the type, but they were much sweeter than expected them. They offer a wide variety of tequila, flight options, but we did not try any flights after the cocktails because it took a while to get the cocktails due to the crowd at the bar as there was not any table service. This could be due to the time that we were there as it was close to 10 PM. I would like to return to try the tequila flights when it is less "club like" so that I can enjoy it. read more

We've been to Tequila Daisy a few times now. They have happy hour Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm I believe. They have a lot of specialty drinks which cost more, but honestly I liked their house margarita better than most of them. If you like tequila or mezcal, they have an extensive selection. You can see it right on the walls or you can scan a QR code to get a list. At first, some of the bartenders weren't very educated on them, but they seem to be getting better now and can make some recommendations. It can be hard to get a seat at the bar. I'm not sure if they ever have table service or not. read more

While I don't condone binge drinking, there are so many delicious cocktails you absolutely have to try. I had 2 or 3 myself and also tasted some of my friends' drinks. I really appreciate how much of an experience it is to not only consume the beverages and dance to some fun music, but also to watch the bartenders skillfully craft them with fire, shaking motions and decorative elements. And I have to say the drinks are surprisingly affordable! Honorable Beverage mentions: The Simply Irresistible includes a deliciously bruléed banana. Great new spot! Grand opening is July 29th I believe. They were pretty slow bc looks understaffed and just 2 bartenders when we came in. Fav drinks are the Simply Irresistible and Cafe Express. Really complex yummy drinks. All drinks we had were good! Located next to Social roost and copper so TD will take away some of their business for sure. I think they're trying to copy Copper Shaker w the giant menu on the wall but it's actually pretty hard to read up there and you don't need it bc they hand you a menu to look at. That big lcd screen would be better utilized playing sports or music video or something to entertain customers while they wait for drinks. Visited this place during the Taco Tequila Crawl, which was an event that cost about $80 for two people with fees. Instead of offering a Taco that we paid for, like the other pubs, this place allowed us to use a taco ticket to get a shot, as long as we purchased another shot. Thants cheating, we paid for Tacos, if they didn't want to participate they should not have joined the crawl and wasted our time. They obviously joined the crawl just to get people into the bar.. but that's not playing fair.. disrespectful to customers so we left and will not return. read more

Walked by heading to a show up the street from this place on a Tuesday. This place was very close to our destination and was a pretty big place. Definitely would seem like a place where you would get some good margaritas as it is a tequila bar. Even had a tequila tuesday menu. We were in a hurry and the place was almost empty which was perfect. We go in and sit down at bar thinking we going to get some quick margs. Immidiately started feeling odd about the place when we ordered and started to see functionality unravel. Seemed there was one person working in total (which could be fine as it was not busy at all) but then she became the slowest, most unprofessional person that appeared to have zero bar skills, people skills or drink making skills. A good 10-12 minutes passed while she stood directly in front of us going back and forth with two guys to the left of us that she may or may not have known while also mumbling about making drinks and trying to remember how to make the drinks we ordered. Mumbled something about not having made these in so long yet they are on the Tuesday special menu given to us. Between the strange body language, the extremely immature conversation being had and overall behavior of the girl and the amount of cursing and weird stuff being said between the bartender and other couple of patrons plus the at least 15-20 minutes it took to make these two drinks that were absolutely disgusting this place gets a full one. It was almost as if she had never made a margarita before. Mind-boggling, no muddling. no measuring, completely uneven pours. One was basically so sour it seemed as if it was sour mix with a orange ring in it and one was so bad we couldn't drink it. We watched her pour random amounts of various liquors over a "special" ice cube never muddling, mixing or stirring even once then gently placed a flower and dried orange peel on top as if that was going to help this vile concoction. We held our tongues in aww thinking wtf is going on here. We coud not make this make sense. This big kinda fancy place with all this tequila and this is what we got!! It makes zero sense. I wish I was not writing this. I almost never do this but the entire experience was just so bad we had to speak up. So dissappointed in this spot. read more
