I didn't expect it to be finished so soon. The owner is very informative of the problem you're having and very knowledgeable of VW's. After the work was completed, I noticed there were a few other things, not engine related that could have been fixed that were not brought up by the business owner, which I would've paid extra to have those items replaced or fixed. The owner and I did have a difference in opinion on engine parts and some other items I didn't receive from my turnkey motor that I bought from then. There were supposed to be parts left over, but according to the owner, there was not. I decided I would never take my vehicle to them in the future, due to the above reasons. This is just my opinion you would have to go there and have your vehicle worked on, to form your own opinion. I won't ever be returning my vehicle or having any type of work ever done there again.

First time there i was looking for spark plug wires and an accelerator cable. I might as well have went in there looking for a pair of size 12 Nikes from 1985. The second chance i gave this place i called looking for the gasket for the gas cap. Pretty simple request, guy on the phone said "we don't sell anything like that" emphasis on the anything. Hey guy you're supposedly a VW shop why so confused when you got a customer with a classic VW trying to give you some business instead of ordering from J Bugs which is what i ended up doing and will probably keep doing until i find a local helpful business to support.

Pros: They did fix…read moreone issue under diagnosis. The labor rate there is around $220. Cons: I had to wait quite a while (over 30 minutes) just to drop off the vehicle. The porter took the paperwork off the car and didn't notify anyone, so I was left waiting while the staff didn't even know if I was picking up or dropping off. The other vibration issue I brought it in for was not fixed, despite the car being there for about 4-5 days. I later took it to an independent shop, and they were puzzled as well and it took them 2 days to diagnose and fix it.. When they brought up the rotors over the phone, I knew it was BS. The pads do need to be changed, but I will be doing that myself. It was very bold of the tech to recommend a coolant flush and spark plugs when I had already provided a hard copy of the vehicle's maintenance history. Furthermore, they didn't actually check the brake fluid; it was still good when tested with a test strip recommended by The Car Care Nut. The rotors are clearly 28mm in the photo. I replaced them around 220k miles, and the vehicle now has over 300k miles. The tech claimed the rotors were at 21mm. I suspect they just looked up the vehicle's minimum specs and wrote down 1mm below it. This is the V6 model, which uses the larger 295mm rotors, not the 275mm rotors found on the 4-cylinder. ------------------------ I took out the tech number since this is culture of the dealership to sell sell sell rather than 1 tech. With the flat rate system they are pressured to sell sell, and can't take time to figure out the issue. This car has been mostly service by Claremont Toyota for big issue guess I'll go back as they are futher to drive for me. I personally would not go here or recommend friends and family for maintaince or parts, vehicle no more. I used to buy parts online then pick up at this dealership.

My most recent visit i got 2 used tires, they constantly leaked air within that same day. the next morning i went to Mr.Martinez & he denied wanting to perfect his work.. and replaced the tires knowing they leaked air. My Rims are in Brand New Condition no cracks no bends.. Mr.Martinez Had no Intentions on making the customer satisfied & had no solution. My wifes vehicle did not pass s smog test. 2 error codes came up. Md repaired my issue but the next day the engine light came on. Went back to MD and David was nice and told me that one of the coils failed. He replaced free. So far so good. A few months later same issue. Go back to David. Coils are bad no longer under warranty. Its gonna be another $300 plus. I leave the car. Later in the late evening we drive by and our car is in the parking lot. David told me they would bring it inside. We took our car. Now here is the crazy part. They do not call the next day to tell us our car is missing. I call to tell him i am going in to get my keys and he asks if i took my car. I found out later that his coil changing was a treatment of the symptoms not the root cause. The lack of care is astounding
