Rented this scooter a week ago for Disneyland. Not only were they super friendly they helped teach us how to fold/take the chair apart! Absolutely loved their customer service. 100% recommend! The battery lasted the entire time we were there as well!

We had planned a day to Disneyland months ago for my husband's birthday. Then I was hospitalized a few weeks ago and had surgery on my leg. Since we already had these tickets and reservations made I did not want to have to cancel nor did I want to chance Disneyland being sold out of motorized scooters. SoCal Scooter guy saved our very much needed family day out!!! The communication is great!! Excellent prices and they made the process so easy for us. Scooter worked perfectly and I took their advice and turned off the scooter whenever I was idle and one battery lasted us from 8am- 7pm !! So grateful for all their help and will definitely be using them again!!

This is perhaps the best accessory item I have found yet for my mom's visit to So Cal. She has been plagued with lower back problems and had even had a massive reconstruction leaving her with mobility issues. It was my daughters high school graduation and my mom was apprehensive about coming out due to her inability to move freely and that is when I found So Cal Scooter Guy. He was flexible with pick up and drop off times and the scooter was in superb condition and he even gave me two batteries for my first time rental to help me get used to the battery life. Without this Scooter my mom wouldn't have been able to see the Huntington Library, Lake Arrowhead or get a birds eye view of her granddaughter graduating high school. Such an awesome experience. My family and I were planning a two week vacation across 7 states. My mom's steps are a lot slower and we needed a scooter. I did a scooter search that lead me to Socal Scooter Guy. Everything from booking, delivery to pick up was so easy. The rental price was great!! The scooter was wonderful. My mom did not miss anything. I had knee surgery a couple months ago and my husband and I wanted to go to Disneyland. So cal scooter guy was the perfect option for us with great prices! I was worried the scooter wouldn't fit in our small Honda Civic but it was easy to put apart and we were able to quickly put it back together. We had a hassle free pick up and drop off. The battery lasted all day and we went all over Disneyland and California Adventure. The scooter was also very comfy and easy to use and navigate in the lines unlike the park scooters which are really bulky. I would definitely use So Cal Scooter Guy the next time I need a scooter!

Ok I have rented a lot of places and they r overpriced and rude. BUT HERE LET ME TELL YOU. Not only r they decently priced after I paid I realized they were a hr 1 45 min ! Detour out of our trip for a fee they came all the way to my Location for drop off. Then when I had expected car trouble the owner was so incredible and worked with me every step of the way!!!! I would rent from This place any day of the week weather ur family Memeber is disabled Or you had a surgery and can't walk and need a family member to get around safely this is your place, not only that the owner as I said is a saint this man is incredible Thank u for Making this rental seem less even with all the hiccups on our family's end !!! Had a friend from Hawaii visiting and needed a scooter for her to get around. This company was very helpful accommodating and excellent service. The scooter ran all day at Disneyland it was easy to dismantle and assemble in 3 easy steps. Will definitely rent again. They have 3 and 4 wheels scooter to choose from. I had never rented a scooter before, but my wife needed one for a night out that some close friends had planned at Disneyland a few weeks after her surgery. Aaron was very kind and quick to respond to my questions. The scooter was easy to use, clean and in good condition, and came fully charged. I broke my foot a few months ago and have had to rent From these guys a couple times to go to events. My husband has severe neuropathy due to chemo and he is not able to walk. We needed something that would be light enough for me 5'2 to be able to lift and load in our truck. Not only light and able to be taken apart which was super easy by the way, but it was clean and the battery lasted all day. We were very impressed with the battery life to say the least . I can't thank Socal Scooter Guy for making this past weekend a very memorable one. I was searching for a mobility scooter to rent out here in the Inland Empire and sad as that is there are not many that have the availability for rent. Other times I would have to go into Orange county, But as I sent a Google search I saw SoCal Scooter Guy pop up and noticed it was close by where I reside Corona to Chino Hills I called and left a message and received a text walking me through on how they reservation system works. I was able to secure a scooter that is able to break down and put into the back of my Honda CR-V easily. I appreciate there customer service and response if you have any questions. Over this weekend we went to Disneyland and rented a scooter from SoCal Scooter Guy. That was the best decision ever. We chose a three wheel scooter. I made it so much easier to move around. The battery lasted all day 8am-11pm (mind you we would turn it off when not I'm use). I do recommend a little extra help loading it into the car but with two people there should be no issues. It was easy to load into the car and take apart/put together. They are so knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the scooter and how to work it. Prices are unbeatable! I will be renting from them for any future scooter rentals! read more

I've rented from many scooter companies in the LA area. These experiences have ranged from terrible to ok, but SoCal Scooter guy has finally given me a reason to write a Yelp review! The scooter was waiting for me upon arrival, fully charged and ready for the adventures ahead. The scooter was sturdy and in good repair/ condition. Absolutely no complaints. During my last rental with a prior company, I had to swap my scooter out twice and it died frequently (to the point that a friend had to push me in my scooter up hills). Delivery and pick up was okay . Saturday : San Diego Zoo: The scooter stopped working several times (needed help from security to get back to the car). Use time 8am to11:30 am Sunday: Irvine Spectrum Center: same problem. Use time 9:30 am to 1:45 pm Monday: Disney Land: Scooter used only from the parking lot to the entrance (rented a scooter from Disney Land to make sure that I have no trouble) and back to the parking lot. I used the Disney Land scooter fro 8:30 am to 7:00 pm without any trouble. I have 2 scooter from Pride (1 in DC and 1 in Hawaii) with no problem . I think I have gotten the lemon scooter. read more

This is my second time using them! First time I messed up and didn't request the assistance to load the scooter into my car, highly recommend unless you know what you're doing! Picking up my scooter today and they were so helpful to meet me even sooner then they allowed so I can make it on time to a convention! I highly recommend them for all your scooter needs. Reserved a scooter from So. CAL scooter Guy, pick up was great, on time, great info. Used it at the CHOC Walk at Disneyland. I usually get pushed in a wheelchair, this was so much better. No problem crossing the railroad tracks, watched strollers and wheelchairs get stuck. Pick up was just as easy. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. SoCal Scooter Guy is awesome! Josh is super helpful. He helped me set up a pickup time in Chino and offered to show my grandparents how to use the scooter at their house. SoCal Scooter Guy also has a great website with videos showing how to break down and set up the scooter and payment was easy. Prices are great too :) Thanks to SoCal Scooter Guy we we're able to take my Grandma out on a beautiful trip to Santa Barbara. She has not been out of the house in years and it would not been possible without SoCal Scooter Guy. She was able to get the hang of the scooter quickly and was able to get around easily. read more

We have been working with Doug for several months. I have been without a chair since September. I had to do all the pushing with the insurance company. I had to call Doug to make sure he sent in what the insurance company needed. I have never worked so hard in my life for a company to take my money. It's beyond pathetic. We were told our insurance will only pay $1k. That's only true if we don't receive a prior approval (which was processed on 12/05). Then he tells us our company will only pay for a rental. Again NOT TRUE. Our insurance company pays a monthly bill to the DME provide for 13 months or until the maximum price of the chair has been paid. I had surgery on 12/19. I was supposed to have my chair by then. read more

However, getting there the 2 guys working in the office didn't know about my reservation. I had to look up the change in my email to even show the guy. I have had to use mobility off and on since 2011. Its not my 1st time renting. with them not really helping out when i asked questions. I had asked about I was going to DownTown Disney however, to even get there from the store with the security at DT Disney said we couldn't get through the front. The scooter weighed 300 pds we couldn't get it in a SUV. the only way is driving it down harbor, to Katella to go in through the parking lot. it wasn't doable. we took it back. Once back in less then 30 mins of pick up. I asked for a discounted rate because we couldn't use it. They had many left , (not a restock issue) even so a restock fee but, full price is uncalled for and not good business. As I was in the store talking to a lady associate she kept raising her voice at me and called me stubborn. I told her that not right and left. I emailed the company and they basiclly said they can change the price. Which to me is bs because who put the price in, or set the price in the pos system which can be changed they will not because of money grubbing practices. I will add i was staying at a local hotel and met a man who delivered for another customer from another mobility scooter place called One Stop Mobility. The gentleman was so kind and so helpful even when i was venting he said yes not good practices. Plus his scooters were smaller and less bulky he delivered his in a personal van. I will use them next time.

So Cal Scooter Guy (SCSG) is the guy to know! Not only was he willing and able to accept an online reservation with delivery with less than 24 hours notice, he called to confirm the details of my order and my specific requests. His prices are upfront, reasonable, and in my opinion well worth every cent! Even when my party was running late to the pick up location, that I set, So Cal Scooter Guy was understanding and patient. He replied to our tardiness with calm demeanor and professional humility that you don't seem to encounter much anymore these days. We arrived to SCSG fully sporting proper COVID-19 PPE and loaded with a pair of spotless, fully charged, and fast four wheeled scooters for our day of fun at Six Flags Magic Mountain! My family and I was going to Magic Mountain and sometimes we run into the issue where a mobility scooter will not be available. Well in the middle of the night I did some research and found the Scooter Guy and completed an easy reservation online. To my surprise without much time between my reservation and time the scooter was needed the request was still filled and the battery was fully charged. Pick up was easy after instructions was emailed and text sent as a notification. The Scooter was in good condition and held up good on a hot day at Magic Mountain including the battery which stayed fully charged from 12:30 to 9:00 PM closing time. This type of quality service I can appreciate and will be renting plenty more times in the future. read more

If you are anywhere around Ontario, this gentleman is who you want to rent from. A friend of mine recommended them to me and I can see why. Joshua is so nice, and worked to accommodate our last minuted trip. He rents his scooters, and to save you some money he allows you to pick it up locally from his home office. He has the scooter ready for you to pick up at the time you scheduled with him. We couldn't return it on day we agreed, but he allowed me to return it the next day free of charge. Huge shout out to SoCal Scooter Guy. I had ankle surgery a month ago and have been confined to my house/couch. I decided I needed to get out and googled local scooter rentals. So Cal Scooter Guy came up and I took a chance, and so glad I did. He is local (Chino) and made it super easy to pick up, return and the scooter was clean and in great working order. My wife is going through chemotherapy and can't walk far, I use a wheelchair for her. But this made it so easy for her we took a trip to Ventura and this gave her more freedom to do things on the boardwalk and around town the scooter guy went out of his way to accommodate us from the kind of scooter, extra battery, and the scooter comes apart easily for loading and unloading, they have great equipment and great customer service. Let me start by saying that these guys give great costumer service. Aaron was very helpful and the scooters are very useful when going out to the fair, the mall or even just for a trip to the grocery store. If you are planning on going out and don't want to worry about getting tired of walking then you should definitely rent one of these scooters. I needed a Scooter for disneyland and when he found out he gave me free upgrade with extra battery and charger with a helpful tip on were to charge it while I'm in the park. I saw an ad for scooter rentals on Facebook and checked to see if they had any available to rent for a week. Joshua walked me through several types of scooters they have and I decided to rent a Golden Buzzaround scooter. I liked the suspensions and the LED lights. Most scooters dont have lights. Highly recommended!! We didn't anticipate needing a scooter, but 2 days into our trip, someone in our party injured their foot. SoCal Scooter Guy was super accommodating and communicative. When I get back home I see the charge on my card. I call them and ask to speak to the manger Chris. After informing me he will call me back after speaking to the "owner", I get a text message. I never ordered 2 scooters. His dates were inaccurate and tried to say we're used something we never received. They try to add false information and fake reservations to seem well-intentioned. Since he has no decency to call me back I proceed to call him back our conversation lead to false information and Chris proceeds to curse and use profanity as their "general manager". -Lack of customer service -Lied and allegations -Extra charges -Profanity and rudeness -Faulty equipment Are all the things you will receive if you use their services.

Okay, so I have a lot to say! I had to rent a couple of scooters last minute, as in the night…read morebefore my friend and I were flying down to Orange County. We are normally ambulatory, but she was recovering from 3 root canals the day prior and I was getting over food poisoning. Neither of us were in any shape to be walking miles on end, but we weren't about to cancel on Mickey! I researched several scooter companies, most of which did not have any availability so last minute. I found Anaheim Parks Scooters, but I was super nervous because there were no reviews yet. They had scooters available, they offered to drop off and pick up from our hotel, and they even offered a discount. It sounded too good to be true. I was praying it was not a scam. The checkout process was seamless and self-explanatory. I received confirmation emails immediately after placing the reservation. I only had to pay a deposit upfront, too. I later received an email after the scooters were dropped off at my hotel, including a follow-up one to let me know they had put covers on the scooters in case it rained. We flew in the next morning and found our lovely scooters waiting for us at our hotel. The keys were left with the front desk staff as stated. The scooters were clean, sturdy, spacious, and almost too fast once you're inside the parks. They were easy to maneuver and had a long-lasting battery. Shout out to Candy Cane Inn for charging scooters for us overnight! We used the scooters all day and the battery never even got down to the halfway mark. My only gripe is that I could not find clear information on their website as to when the scooters would be picked up. There was an AI Assistant that was available to chat and answer any questions. I needed the scooter for two full days, so the AI Assistant recommended I rent the scooters for three full days, as they are picked up by 10AM on the last rental day. However, the night before my last rental day, I received an email stating that the scooters would be picked up 30 minutes after the park closed on the last rental day. So basically, I could have gotten away with just two days instead of three. I received an email once the scooters were picked up. There were no hidden costs. Everything was transparent. I'm so relieved it was not a scam after all! I would highly recommend Anaheim Parks Scooters if you're looking to rent a scooter for the parks. Thank you for such a great scooter rental experience!

Exceptional Service - Truly Saved Our Disneyland Trip We…read morevisited Disneyland over Thanksgiving and arrived at the park on Thanksgiving Day to find it completely packed. Unfortunately, there were no scooters available inside the park, and I have difficulty walking long distances due to a disability. I started calling several scooter rental companies hoping someone could help us last minute, but everyone I contacted was completely booked. Thankfully, Anaheim Park Scooters called me back quickly. The gentleman I spoke with was incredibly friendly, polite, and very informative. He took the time to explain the different scooter options and helped us figure out exactly what would work best for our situation. We ended up renting two scooters the first day and three scooters the second day, and the service they provided was above and beyond what we expected. Normally they deliver scooters to nearby hotels, but since we were staying farther away and didn't have a way to transport them, they personally delivered the scooters directly to us at the Disneyland entrance and picked them up there at the end of the day. That level of accommodation meant so much to us. Because of them, I was able to enjoy the park without worrying about my mobility issues. My husband had also injured his back, and the scooter allowed him to comfortably enjoy the entire day as well. We were able to stay at Disneyland for the full day and truly enjoy our trip. The scooters themselves were excellent quality--very clean, well maintained, easy to operate, and surprisingly powerful. They move quickly, so I recommend using the lower speed setting until you get comfortable with them. What really stood out was their kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism. Any time we had a question, they responded quickly and were genuinely happy to help. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. They were incredibly accommodating and truly helped make our trip possible. I would absolutely rent from Anaheim Park Scooters again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Disneyland who needs a mobility scooter. Top-notch service all around.

In a nutshell, here is what we have experienced: -Obviously the cost for a non-Disney ECV rental will be cheaper but only if you have it for several days. The cost for the Disney rental was $60 a day at the time of this review. Typically, the cost elsewhere is around $170 for the week. Do your research. -So, the Disney ECVs have some big time speed limiters on them. It's very frustrating to not be able to go faster than a slow stroll on the fastest speed. it makes it difficult to maneuver around large groups of people and get out of people's way. I think the Disney lawyers went a little too far here. The non-Disney scooters that we have rented go much faster. I'm not saying you should be tearing around the park at breakneck speeds but you ought to be able to get where you want to go at a much less frustrating speed. -The annoying backup alarm. OMG!! Whenever you backup the Disney ECVs they emit a very loud, harsh shrill much like the sound of Iago being plucked alive!! The other scooters that we have rented make no backup sound at all. You just have to go slow and LOOK. -The most surprising limitation is the restriction of where you can even go on a Disney ECV. Do you want to go back to your hotel for a nap? Can't take the scooter. Do you want to go beyond Downtown Disney to the Disneyland Hotel area? Nope. Do you want to scoot into the Grand Californian to listen to some soothing piano music while watching a roaring fire?? Fat chance. You can go to all these places on a non-Disney ECV but Disney won't let you take their scooters. -As far as battery life, I was impressed with the Disney scooter. The battery indicated full charge for the entire time it was used in the parks. To be fair, the non-Disney scooters we have experienced also have an adequate battery life. -The overall condition of the Disney scooter was slightly lower than the other non-Disney scooters we have had experience with but this was not significant. So, if your feet hurt and you need to take a load off for a day, sure, by all means rent yourself a Disney ECV. Just make sure you take your blood pressure pills because you will be frustrated. I however would recommend checking with a non-Disney rental company to compare prices.
