Evidence we were in second place

This place is a mess. The manager is incredibly rude and unprofessional. On two separate occasions, our team showed up for games only to find out the other teams had canceled, and the manager never bothered to notify us. Complete waste of time and energy. The facility is poorly managed, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone, they waited until the league playoffs came around to kick us out for "having a significant higher level of play" after we had paid over $500 for the league. We were not offered a refund at all, even after finishing second place with two defeats that contradicts their statements. Keep in mind this league is 5+ weeks long. This new management is horrible compared to the last management keep in mind I have been here the last 3 years.

I like the concept of this place. HIDDEN in Elk Grove right by the Elk Grove Soccer offices. I went there because it was my nephew's birthday and my brother-in-law rented out the practice field they have there. It was pouring rain, so the fact that we were able to play soccer on such a stormy night was awesome. We were in our own little area and didn't have to deal with anyone who wasn't a part of our party. I do have a couple complaints leading into my 3 star review. The first one being, where was the staff? When our time was over, there was a new family that instantly came in to take over the field. We weren't given a heads up that our time was almost over and there was no mediation so we didn't brush shoulders with this new family. It didn't cause any issues with our Christian family but I expect problems could arise if two of the wrong families clash. Another thing I had issue with was the quality of the building. I don't have a problem with the warehouse decor, since this is not what this facility is about. But having holes in the wall and shaky seating could be dangerous for littler kids. My last complaint was this was not an easy place to find. Google maps lead me down a road that included a no trespassing sign and the other way to get here was a block behind some other businesses. When it was pouring rain this was even more difficult to navigate. The last thing I want to add is that I don't know how much it was to rent the field, but it was worth whatever the price the get a secluded soccer field on such a rainy day.

They remove teams out of the blue after they pay. I wouldn't recommend coming here. They need to be more professional about their business.

The venue is a indoor soccer arena with bleachers and folding chairs. Good food and drinks are available and they take credit ! Also they sell alcohol ! The crowd makes the night and this was a good crowd not to rowdy as this is a kid friendly environment. First match was great as were all of them the ones that stood out for me were Sir Samurai vs Ugly in an I quit match. This was my first time seeing a I Quit live ! I seem many on TV but live is so different the bumps, both gents getting cracked open the crimson dripping the stapling of a ten spot on Sir Sammy's head and he still won ! The other match that stole the show was Hammer and Mayra so fun so fast just a blast only intensified and made more enjoyable with the chant alongs! Holy shit is a trade mark chant when someone takes a bump or make an extra special move it's an appropriate chant and Sunday night it was used a lot ! Extra special shout out to the camera crew they were everywhere but not in the way and the staff spotting high points to make sure workers and audience were safe. What a VALUE at 15 bucks for four hours of wrestling!

Fortunately, I discovered Sacramento has a highly entertaining, homegrown alternative: Supreme Pro Wrestling! Frankly, I was blown away by just how entertaining I found my first SPW show. These guys worked their butts off, both in the ring and on the mic, and they did a great job. The matches were highly entertaining, mixing some family-friendly humor and silliness with some good old-fashioned, high-flying, hard-hitting wrestling action. The crowd really got into the action too, yelling at the heels, cheering on the faces, and having a generally fantastic time. The venue itself is nothing fancy (specifically, a high-school gym with plastic folding chairs) - but that didn't bother me in the least. Tickets were a mere $10 at the door, or $8 online, a great value for a show that lasted over three hours. Tip: Come early (doors open at 4:30) if you want a front-row seat - though there really isn't a bad seat in the house, given the small size of the venue. My only complaint is, the arena evidently has no heat, so my companions and I were freezing throughout the show. If I could do it all again, I'd have worn a heavy jacket, a warm hat, and possibly gloves. This presumably isn't a year-round problem - though I also wonder if it's ridiculously hot in the summer time. All in all, SPW has made a believer out of myself and my friends who joined me at the show. They appear to have events every third Sunday of the month, so I expect I'll be back in February. Thanks SPW!

Unlike most of the parks in the area there is no play area for kids, no benches, shade structure or onsite parking. Amentities: This park is strictly a multipurpose field but generally I have only seen it used for soccer. Nothing really wrong with this park really but it really isnt a park in a traditonal sense and more of a field. Parking situation out here is not great. Parking is street only on the Laguna Bond road. Despite being close to the Camden Passage there is not a direct path and its more of sidewalk until you can get to Camden Park. Even their cousins and friends from their age up to 11 love it. I love that it's so big, open, for the most part clean (the tables could use a good wipe down) and in a great neighborhood. Difficult to lose eyes on your child, even if there are a bunch of kids around. They have a smaller children's playground, bigger children's playground, sand area, sitting zip line, lots of equipment to spin individually or as a group, lots of grass space to run, play, soccer, football, baseball and a basketball court. They also have many tables/seating under awnings for shade, or even in the sun if you want some color. It's a dinosaur themed park as they have Dino footprints on the sidewalk, Dino rockers, and during the summer they even have a small water spray area in the shape of a dinosaur's rib cage. The only downside is the water fountain doesn't work very well and no bathrooms. So make sure your kids go before you get to the park! Other than that, definitely one of my top Elk Grove parks and will be one for many more future play dates!
