Had a wonderful time here with my friends for Sunday HH. Apparently it's HH all days of the week here in Vancouver. This place is very cool with both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside decor is simply but yet elegant. High ceilings and with great vibe. we sat outside on the sidewalk and it was great of seeing people walking and with the warm sunshine shined on us on a nice Easter Day. The service are excellent, so friendly, lovely and very attentive. The foods are good and with the HH prices, can't complain at all. Simply delish. Drinks are excellent, we support to drink a bottle of wine and a cocktail and coffee and several HH dishes but ended up with 3 bottles, 2 cocktails for each of us, and 2 coffees, yup it was great, especially when you're with great people.

I've driven by this place so many times, I never really thought about trying it until someone else mentioned it me. I was attending a show one Sunday night, and decided to go here for an early Happy Hour Dinner. The place looks impressive. It feels upscale with the decor, high ceiling and chandeliers. We were seated by the window. We tried the following: - Patatas Bravas (Happy Hour): Very good. Slightly spicy, well cooked, and impressive portion size. - Carpaccio (Happy Hour): Very good. Simple, but nicely done. I liked how the bread wasn't too hard. - Paella: Very good. It's a good serving size, and full of flavours. I was impressed with the amount of seafood on top, and the effort in making it so presentable looking. What didn't have was the crispy bottom layer (socarrat), but still happy with it. - Cherry Pistachio Mousse: Good. The main flavours were chocolate and cherry, with pistachio being less prominent (which I liked). Service was professional, friendly and attentive. What I would expect from a higher-end restaurant. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal. I'm not sure why it has such a low rating on Yelp, so I guess I was lucky. The fact that I went at Happy Hour probably helps, because the dishes were less expensive, and maybe the restaurant was less busy. I would rate 4.5. I would definitely return for Happy Hour, because the Happy Hour menu is quite extensive.

This is slightly over four stars based on our experience. The hotel recommended based on the burgers which look AMAZING! We arrived around 11:30am and sat on the patio immediately. Very friendly service for the entire visit. After we arrived it was a nonstop flow of people into the restaurant which was evidence of its popularity. We had a pizza and the avocado toast and a side salad all of which were perfect. The pizza was really good and came with a pair of scissors to cut your own slice however you want!! The avocado toast was really good and the goat cheese balls were such a nice little surprise on the salad. All Tolled we were $80 out the door and felt like it was worth every penny. The restaurant has plenty of seating options and the patio is perfect. Shaded, Green, Clean and not too crowded with white tablecloths.

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Overall: 4/5 I came here for brunch on a weekend and loved the atmosphere! It was super roomy and not too loud which is great. I ordered the brunch bravas and we also got a spicy vodka pizza to share. The staff was really friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. My favourite was definitely the bravas! I loved the sauce on them and they were a great portion size. I personally found the pizza to be underwhelming. At a price point of $30 I expected the pizza to be more filling with more generous toppings and flavours but it was just okay. I'd definitely come back for brunch but id skip the pizza next time.

Came here on a Friday for lunch. There are two entrances: one is to the restaurant and the other is to the cafe. We didn't know and we walked into the cafe but because the cafe and restaurant is connected and is just roped off, we walked from the cafe to the restaurant side to be seated. Immediately right after we sat down, we were offered a choice of sparkling water or regular tap water. We picked the tap water. For my lunch I got the Risotto Burro E Sablefish and my friend got the Margherita pizza. The Sablefish was super delicious. It was nice and oily with lots of flavor. I really liked the grilled radicchio. The risotto was nice, cheesy and creamy. My friend said the pizza was very delicious. The restaurant has an Italian Pizza oven at the back and you can smell the smell of the pizza in the entire restaurant. I personally highly recommend the Sablefish. It was very delicious. It is a bit on the pricier end of $49.

We came for happy hour at around 3:30pm and had no problems finding a table. Beef carpaccio - good balance of savoury and sour. Not overly chewy Pepperoni e ricotta - was a bit too oily for me but I liked the chewiness of the dough. I wished there was a bit more ricotta to offset the oiliness of the pepperoni Truffle fries - super addictive. Not truffle-y enough. But I loved the crispness of the fries We had the tinta cocktail and the espresso martini. Both were okay but nothing stellar. The price of their happy hour is pretty good and their menu is pretty broad. The service was fast and good. Loved the ambiance here but the food was just missing that little punch to make me want to come back

After a full day of sightseeing, I stopped in for dinner--and this spot did not disappoint. The cozy, casual ambiance set the perfect tone, my server was wonderfully attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the recommended cocktail. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I'd happily return the next time I'm in Vancouver.

Such a cool ambiance for a group dinner or date. We made reservations for 11 people and were able to get seated right away. It was pretty warm inside though - needed the AC to be on full blast. Food and drinks were spectacular. We ordered seafood paella, truffle fries, the burger, steak, pizza and pasta. Cocktails were amazing.

Beautiful and romantic spot. Great for date nights. Love the cocktails here. They are also known for their pizza because they have a special pizza oven. They come with scissors that you have to cut yourself. The ravioli appy is good but just three pieces. You need to try the burger here too.

This place is great for a fun night out. Group dinner or date night night. We saw several of both while out for dinner on a Friday night. The place is busy and bussling! The high ceilings, viewable pizza oven station, wine lights, shelves everything was giving to the aesthetic of a classy night out. The food was good. We got the calamari and potato bravas to share, both yummy and gone. The drinks were fun and different. They had something for everything and spins on drinks we had never seen before. For dinner I got the crab and lobster ravioli and it was delicious. We soaked up all the sauce in the pizza crust. The pizza was as expected and great quality. The paella looked beautiful and the seafood was cooked perfectly but the one comment I would make would be the rice was a little dry for my liking. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back if there weren't so many other good restaurants in the area that I also want to try.

    Steve A.

The focus here is on their pizzas, which are hand-tossed and then rise dramatically in the oven. We didn't have pizza, but we did have the resulting bread with both the hummus and carpaccio appetizers. The Caesar salad was straightforward, with delicious brioche-like croutons. Service was attentive, and the place has a cool vibe.

    Tri Q.

Beautifully designed restaurant with amazing decor, super high ceilings. You can watch the chefs assemble your plates or make your pizza. Service was phenomenal as it was friendly and didn't feel fake. Food came out in good time and everything tasted great. I wouldn't put this as my top places to eat but it's a good choice for coal harbour. Very expensive for the portion sizes so prepare yourself.

super cute interior and has great ambiance, it has this moody vibe even when we went for lunch! Loved their paella and was definitely enough for the both of us so we had a bit of leftover. The gnocchi was amazing too but super filling. Would recommend to get the paella cuz what are you doing if you didn't get the paella , curious to see how their paella would compare to casa molina's

Our server was attentive and around when we needed something but never interrupting, and his recommendations ended up being some of our favourite dishes. The anchovy olives were a standout, super crispy, packed with flavour, and not overly fishy at all (great if you're a bit hesitant about anchovies). The mushroom toast was rich, savoury, and full of umami. Just a heads up not to let it sit too long since it softens the bread. The tuna tartare was fresh and well-balanced. Not my personal favourite served on toast, but still really enjoyable overall. The paella was excellent, perfectly cooked shrimp, tclams, and crispy pork belly chicharrón that added the best salty, fatty crunch. The roasted cabbage completely surprised me and was easily one of the best veggie dishes I've had in a while. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. We wrapped things up with churros and shared a pitcher of sangria. For three people, it came out to about $68 each before tip, which felt very fair for how much we ordered. Would definitely recommend.

We had begun our night at Bar Gobo and just was not feeling it, so we decided to come to La Boqueria instead for dinner. We were able to get a table right away with a quick phone call, and they saved us a table upon our arrival! We mainly came here for wine and the delicious Pintxos, and between the two of us we shared a bottle of the Blasted Church Hatfields Fuse, and a platter of 5 Pintxos (great date meal!). Due to the current circumstances they seemed to be understaffed so the food was taking longer than usual so they offered us a complimentary dish of Pulpo a la Gallega - perfectly cooked giant octopus with potato, mayo and paprika - if I knew how delicious it was I would have definitely ordered it as an appy! The Pintxos are to die for - perfect for sharing. Our favourite was probably the negitoro, and the ultimate sardine. The platter of 5 is a perfect portion for 2 people and a great way to try a selection of Pintxos and a delicious explosion of variety of flavors. This place is a must-visit for seafood lovers, and such a unique offering comparing to the many tapas options in the city. My only feedback is I would have probably liked a more extensive list of red wine; maybe more full bodied reds? The cocktail list also looks amazing as well but sharing a bottle of wine is such a great date idea that we decided to leave the cocktails for our next visit. If you are looking for an unique romantic date night spot, I would highly recommend La Boqueria because it will be sure to delight and surprise your date with a great meal, ambiance, and great service. Truly a hidden gem in Vancouver for seafood and wine lovers. They are only open for dinner service for now so be sure to make a reservation.

The alcachofas con jamón paired confit baby artichokes with roasted onion and jamón Ibérico. It was a good balance of textures and classic Spanish seasoning. The ensalada de ajo blanco con tomates asados y atún semicurado brought a creamier, richer profile: silky almond‑garlic dressing on fire‑roasted tomatoes with chunks of semi‑cured tuna and a drizzle of ash oil that added a nice aromatic note. The arroz negro arrived with seafood mixed into deeply flavoured squid‑ink rice; it was hot, savoury, and rich, perfect with a squeeze of lemon and garlicky aioli. Service was a definite high point! It was warm, knowledgeable, and paced so we weren't rushed. Portions were generous enough for sharing among two, especially with the more substantial rice dish in play. That said, the overall meal trended toward the rich and dense, so pairing with a couple of the lighter salads or crisp wines next time would help round things out. Would recommend for for date nights, small groups, or anyone curious about Spanish flavours. Lighter eaters might want to mix in a salad or a vegetable forward plate to balance the richer offerings.
