This limo service was run like scam artist. It post on Living Social and promise that it only charge 75 dollar for round trip to SFO. Then when I call, it asked for additional 85 dollar for out of town pick. I think that was reasonable. But, then the dirver was not able to give me any receipt when I paid after I arrive at SFO. The driver promised he will have someone send me the receipt to email in couple day. However, it did not happen. I took the limo from SFO today and the driver asked for another 85 dollar and claim that it is per trip. If you added them all up, this is just the regular price you pay for round trip (75 +85 *2). You don't save a single cents at all. To make it worse, I can't even get a receipt from them to file for my travel expenses. This is a limo company you should avoid at all cost. read more

FRAUD !!! ALARM !!! FRAUD !!! Summary: Instead of enjoying Napa, we spent almost all of the time on a road in the limo with a bad conditioner and afterwards, we HAD BEEN CHARGED AN EXTRA $690 with no reason!!!! On August 25 me and my guests took a tour to Napa with Social Limousine that had been purchased as an offer via Gilt City. - instead of 6 hours of "flitting from winery to winery without a care in the world" as described in the offer, we actually spent only about 1 - 1.5 hours in Napa itself, the rest we spent on the road (overall time on the road was close to 6 hours). Please note that we selected a pick up location within 25 miles of San Francisco as requested in the offer. - At drop-off we received a check for an extra charge $690.00 with no clear explanation of what the charge was for. We didn't even spend promised amount of time in Napa to be charged any extra hours and we definitely were not satisfied with the service to provide gratuity. - Limo was not clean enough, its air conditioner/radio/lightning were not working properly (we didn't check flat screens and DVD players) - Only 1 bottle of champagne was provided instead of the 2 bottles that were promised as described in the offer on the Gilt City site. Answering our question about a second bottle, the driver said that it is not in the car and we can drive to a store and buy it. We refused to do so because we were on a freeway at the moment. Now I understand, it would only increase our "extra hours". From other reviews here, I see that absolutely the same things happened with other people using this service, which proves that the company does it all repeatedly and consciously. So, reviewing some of the reviews here, I see that it can be a hit or a miss. For me and my family it was a huge hit. We rented the 33 coach bus, we had only 10 people, but found that every inch of the space was well utilized by us with our purchases and snacks we brought to enjoy our 5 hour wine tour that we we mapped out. Daniel was our driver, so incredibly nice and accommodating. He arrived on time at 8AM and had 4 great bottles of champagne waiting for us all. I felt a little bad that I was going to need him for 12 hours, but he assured us all, that it was not a problem and eased our concerns. He was a trooper. Towards the end of our trip he skipped out for a moment, while we were eating and got a wonderful case of fresh strawberries for us to enjoy with our champagne. Just a class act all the way. It was the first time that some of my family members got to enjoy the wine country, so it was a huge plus that Daniel made the trip extra special for them. The Van/bus, was beautifully appointed in the interior and very comfortable. Pros- Driver was friendly/ humble - We got to Napa safely - two bottles of champagne were included as promised - I got a decent deal for 6 hours without having to go through living social Cons- Limo is outdated (the interior is not in great condition) I wish the owner would have informed me of what the condition of the limo was going to be like but then again I should have probably asked.. - champagne glasses were dirty and I don't believe we got our cheese plate/ crackers as promised - Driver got lost getting to our second winery that was 5 min in distance (took 30 min) I've definitely experienced better service but overall we made it work! read more

I have used Social Limousine on several occasions. I was introduced to Social Limo through an ad they ran on Bloomspot. The pickup was late and I almost missed my flight. The driver was apologetic and told me that the dispatch did not give him the information for the pickup until way too late. Was told by the driver that my next trip would be a "comp" trip. When I took the next trip, I was charged on my credit card for a full trip. The driver at the airport was also late for that trip. In that instances, the flight into SFO was on time. Once the driver arrived, the driver told me he was not called until 45 minutes AFTER the plane landed to come get us. The only person who answers the phone is named Ibraham. He is rude on the phone and takes the position that once he has made the charge, your only recourse is with the credit card company. To further complicate matters, the same number and person run their credit card charges through a company with a different name (variants of Social or SF limo). After leaving several messages and having a few conversations with Ibraham, he simply stopped responding. However, after a single posting on Yelp describing my experience, it took him only an hour to try and get YELP to remove the post. These guys are not in the customer service business read more

A friend of mine set up a wine tasting day trip for eight people in Napa. Vineyards we're our choice and we didn't know when we scheduled but vineyards were at least 30 minutes apart (limo Co. should have recommended closer vineyards). Driver was new and inexperienced; he drove the long route and ended up wasting a good amount of time driving through a canyon oppose to taking freeway. Weather was 100 plus degrees and the limo did not have consistent working air conditioning. We only went to two vineyards and ended up arriving at our drop off location one hour and fifteen minutes over the allowed time. The next day my friend's card was charged additional $480.00, which she has resorted to disputing these fees with her credit card company because the lime service will not return her phone calls or emails explaining additional fess. My husband and I bought a Groupon for a 5 hour limo tour through Napa. Originally $800, now only $325! When we signed the paperwork it stated that the driver had to be tipped 20% of the original price, which was an additional $180, non-negotiable. OK, fine.Then the limo shows up a few minutes late, smelling of damp ashtray and looking pretty beat up inside. The the AC was broken so we had the windows down all day in 85 degree Napa heat; not exactly luxurious. We arrived back at the limo to be taken home before the driver told us to be, yet because of traffic we arrived back in SF about 15 minutes late. The driver wanted to charge us more, but then said, "no, since the AC was broken I won't charge you any overtime". But alas, my credit card got charged for another $300, instead of just the $180 tip we were expecting. I emailed, I called, no response. Finally I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Now I'm getting emails from Social Limo for a 5 hour limo tour for only $299! Yeah, right, then they'll charge you almost that much in tip. What a joke. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I planned a surprise birthday party for my husband. I worked with Abraham to get the paperwork done and make sure that he had the details. Since there was never an answer when I called, I e-mailed the information and followed up with a phone call anyway. I never once got a return call or e-mail from him unless he needed something form me (like my credit card 3 times). The driver called me the morning of the party and had no details - not the pick-up time, pick-up address or the wineries we were going to. I asked him to get it from Abraham since I was trying not to talk in front of my husband. If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I should have been clued in when I first made a reservation. I agree with the other reviews. Abraham is very short and makes it seem like you are a nuisance to him. But whatever. I bought a Living Social deal that was pretty good and I was excited to use it. It worried me that I did not get a confirmation code or an email. Getting closer to the date I expected to get a confirmation phone call or email, but of course I didn't. I had to call to make sure it was all confirmed. The day of the event went ok but I wasn't that impressed. My deal came with two bottles of champagne....$4 Andres!!! Whatever. The trip itself went ok as well and the drivers were nice. I was annoyed that I had to give a mandatory 20% tip because a tip is a courtesy, not mandatory. But again, whatever I was going to tip that much anyways. The biggest trouble came when I needed a refund. I reserved the trip on one credit card and paid the tip and the $100 extra for 10 people instead of 8 on a different card. I noticed that they charged my original credit card $100 as well. I called Abraham and he she he would issue me the refund. A month and 6 phone calls later I still did not have a refund. Each time I called he said that he would check on it and call me back. He NEVER got back to me any time I called. Well I lost my cool after the 7th phone call. Abraham proceeded to YELL AT ME and tell me that the refund was issued despite the fact that I never had one into my account. He had the AUDACITY to tell me that it was my problem and HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I had my boyfriend call back and he said that we would have to figure it out ourselves and call their merchant company ourselves. Well I did and they were shocked at the horrible customer service he was giving me because customers are not supposed to call their company. Well as it turns out the refund never happened. SHOCKING!!! She called him and walked him through how you give someone a refund and finally it went through. He then called back and apologized and said it was his fault. No SH-- Shurlock!!!! Sometimes, you just have to realize it's too good to be true! I purchased a 6 hour wine tasting tour for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first trip to San Francisco, and the travel-zoo deal seemed too good to be true at 65.00 per person, instead of the 130. I should have known that something would go wrong when my wife called to pick dates, and they told us that we could only go on 7/4/2012, even though we were in CA for that entire week. They also told her we needed to be at the Ferry building at 7am. 7AM?!?!?!?! I'm not that much of an alcoholic to need to start drinking at dawn! Anyway, I called back, after I had emailed them back and forth (they rarely answer the telephone), and the date I was confirmed with had to be moved. Thank god I asked if we needed to be there at 7, as we would have waited for 3 hours. I was told we should be there at 10. I was the first one there, and surprise, there were no signs, and no designated meeting spots. I had to call Social Limousine in a panic to make sure we weren't left behind. 2 Limos showed up, and unfortunately, we got the jerk of a driver for ours. As soon as people started arriving, our driver got in a screaming match with the parking attendants. It didn't seem to bother him that he had double parked, but the cops were only doing their jobs. We left 15 minutes late, and had 8 people crammed into the limo. It says it holds 8, but you can't sit 8 comfortably. As soon as we started moving, the driver hands us all back a blank credit card receipt. Yes, a blank one. I told him wasn't going to sign a blank one, and asked what it was for. His response: "Don't worry about it, I'll tell you later". If we refused to sign it, we were told we couldn't go on the tour and would have to leave. I'd go into details on the trip, but it's covered in other Yelps. Sufice it to say, we didn't get out 3 stops on the tour, as he spent an hour driving up to the first one, and we basically had about 10 minutes at each winery. Instead of explaining the time issues before we left, he waited til we were at winery #1 to say, if we went past the time limit, it'd be 120/person/hour extra. Upon our return to the Ferry building (1 hour early, and about 30.00/person spent in addition since we didn't have "time" to make it to the scheduled wineries), our driver stopped each of us as we got out of the limo to demand his 48.00. Again we asked what it was for, and he said you need to pay me 48.00 each for gratuity, either on the credit card slip (the blank one), or in cash. He was a big guy, and he wasn't leaving without his tip. I tried to explain to him that it is just that...a tip, not a required figure, and no where on any paperwork did it say a 20% gratuity is required. This dufus didn't bother to put the 2 bottles of champagne in the ice box, didn't tell anyone that there was "complimentary" water bottles for everyone, and didn't mention that the only controls that worked in the limo was the partition, which he kept up the whole time. Trust me: Spend the extra 30 bucks and get a party bus or another limo. There are a bunch out there for around 99.00 that will treat you like you should be treated in a limo. Sorry Social limo, you may have had good staff, and cars at one time, but now, your "fleet" is old and tired, your staff is rude, and it isn't even close to worth the extra fees and headaches. read more

I do not recommend use of this company. From the start things were not right. When I first called I got a very unprofessional person answering the phone. I had to ask if this was Social Limousine and then the person said "oh yeah, How can I help you" Everything seemed fine until I received an over charge on my credit card - sometimes that happens but I could not get anyone to call me back after repeated phone calls and messages left and even used the website to leave messages. Finally, when I got a call back I cancelled because something did not seem right. I was promised a full refund but as of this date - 60+ days later- I still have not received a refund. But whatever, I felt like I was getting a deal. Well, come day of the service, I get a call 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup saying that the limo was in an accident. Sorry that happened and glad no one was injured. But apparently it was a blessing in disguise, according to the other reviews that I looked at after the fact. I had a house surprise party planned for my husband and needed the limo pick up at a specific time. I had party rental delivery people and friends waiting to get into the house the moment we left to set up. Well, I get a call from Abraham saying that they could send another limo but it would be 45 minutes. For my specific situation, that would not work. I talked to the driver who was supposed to be on his way and he gave me so much attitude, saying I needed to make a decision asap, as to not waste HIS time, HIS gas, and HIS bridge toll. WHAT? I thought I was the client. I turned them down saying we would drive ourselves to wine country. Abraham promised me a refund for the groupon and promised that he would make good on the voucher. Great. 5 weeks later after multiple emails to him, only to be ingored, did I contact Groupon directly and ask for a refund. That was processed in 2 days. THANK GOD I did not end up using them for my event because it sounds like it would have been a disgusting ghetto stinky limo with crap service and extra charges. Unfortunately Citibank was unable to help me get my money back as the owner of the company lied about asking me to pay the driver cash for the tip, even though I provided the emails telling me to do so, and had six people with me watch me hand over the cash tip. I was going to take them to small claims court but with further investigation find that the company has now had their license revoked. Wish I could get my money back, but at least there is some justice in all of this if they are out of business. read more

We bought a $400/6hr GroupOn for this company. Confirming our trip a couple days before was not great (no response to email or phone messages). Finally, John, answered the phone the day before and said that yes they did have our reservation, did not know who would be picking us up at the SFO airport but someone would be there. Daniel our driver was great. We were told by John that Limos not allowed in SFO so an SUV would pick us up. But, Daniel picked us up at the curb and off we went. Great day. Even though the tip was included in our day we felt we would time Daniel additional. We had to pay for 1 extra hour, which he informed me that the company would charge me. He did not work for Social Trends, he was an independent driver/limo owner. To my surprised the following week I was charged for 2 extra hours. Of course have called and left a message and emailed. NO response. Checked a few days later to see if they credited me the extra hour. Not only did they not credit me the extra hour, they charged me a total new $565 charge. Again, no response to my second email or 3 phone message. American Express is now involved dealing with the disputed charge and fraud charge. Be careful giving them your card. Use another service. If I had Daniel's information, I would highly recommend him. But, I don't! Stay away from Social Trends Limo. read more

Missed another appointment. I won't even get into the conduct of the driver (which was completely illegal and unacceptable). But, as if things could not get worse, they tried to charge us for being an hour over the time when they were late!!! Then (like others have posted) they just went ahead and charged my CC on file for double the rate illegally! Such a scam... DO NOT USE THEM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE: In June 2016, I reserved a limo for a 5 hour wine tour. I was specific that I wanted to go to boutique wineries in Sonoma. I requested to be picked up at my house at 9:45am with the understanding that we would also need to pick up some friends at the Oakland airport at 10:15am before driving to Sonoma. I was charged $425 for the service at the time of booking, with the understanding that I would be charged additional money if we went over 5 hours. The limo driver arrived to my house 20 minutes late. The limo was impeccably prepped and it seemed as if that would be the only error in service. However, as we left for the airport, he informed me that the air conditioner in the car was out of service and that we would need to change cars at the airport for a limo with a working air conditioner. We picked up my friends, and as we left the airport, I asked if we were still going to change cars, and the driver said yes. We got on the 880 freeway in Oakland, and shortly thereafter, THE DRIVER PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER OF THE FREEWAY AND TOLD US TO GET OUT. Another limo had pulled up behind us. After risking our safety to change cars on the freeway, the next car we had was absolutely disgusting. It was not what I reserved or anywhere near as nice as the one we had been forced out of. It had not been cleaned from the night before - dirty melted ice water, dirty seats, no glasses or napkins. The driver apologized and then informed us the car was out of gas and that we needed to stop and get gas. At that point, he exited the freeway (why he couldn't do this before, I don't know). We are now over one hour into our 5 hour trip. He offered to comp us a free hour to make up for everything, which we appreciated. He took us to two large wineries in Napa (not boutique wineries in Sonoma as had been agreed upon - I had provided the company with winery names). On our way home, he said that we had gone over and needed to pay an extra $100 for the additional time. That seemed incorrect to us, but we paid him anyway, and did not receive the trip that had been agreed upon. I thought this was over, and resolved to never use their service again. Unfortunately, 3 months after this disappointing interaction, I found this company had charged me an additional $455. I called the company for resolution, and was met with a lack of service. I spoke with the owner once. I felt his tone was aggressive, and condescending, and he made me feel as if my inquiry was a nuisance. He said he would look into this and call me back. I have left three messages, but still have not heard anything from him and not once did he apologize for any inconvenience. I spoke with my credit card merchant (American Express) and explained that the $455 was an unauthorized charge on my account, and requested they block this vendor from my account. I then looked on YELP and found that I am not the only person that has had this type of experience recently. I have to admit we got off to a rough start. However, Abraham- who answers the phone and plans all of the trips (the owner?) is enormously accommodating and has spent a lot of time with me on the phone, helping me to plan the trip for which I bought a livingsocial deal for limo service. Our first driver was essentially incompetent; when I described his tardiness and ignorance about our itinerary, Abraham was very apologetic and offered me an additional trip, free, to make up for it. Last night, due to some difficulty with timing, and my concern about cost, Abraham himself drove my girlfriend and I to the Madonna concert, at an hours notice. He couldn't find a driver so late on a Sunday, so he did it himself. That is astounding commitment to your customers and their satisfaction. I probably won't be renting many more limos, from anyone, because they are just expensive and I am broke. But, if you need a limo and can afford to pay for it, I highly recommend social limousine for incredibly devoted customer service. Thank you Abraham! read more

I am SHOCKED to see they have anything on here above 1 star! - I would like to say those are probably fake reviews but who knows. - I met Abraham and some woman at a BRIDAL FAIR in San Francisco last November when I began looking for vendors for my upcoming wedding. We thought wow pay $100 down and then $299 by wedding and we have our limo service booked! GREAT! - NOT!!!!!! Thankfully my mother tried getting in touch with this "company" a few weeks ago to take care of the balance we still owed and to make sure the plans were all set - after not being able to reach anyone for about a week she finally gets a man on the line who sounds like he is half asleep. He proceeds to tell her when she asked about paying her balance for her daughters wedding that she should call "some else at da office cuz he don't think they got that booking set up" (YES that is the grammar he used) - She informed him that we booked at the bridal fair and we had a receipt for $100 that we have already paid. He told her he would have the owner (Abraham) call her later that day to work it out. Of course she did not hear from anyone and had to call back again for about the fifth time to try and work this out. she gets someone on the line and again is told there is no reservation under our name - but they will have someone in touch with her for sure later to work this out. She again gives another chance and of course NO CALL BACK! - this was about three weeks ago and still today we have not heard from anyone. Thankfully her bank reversed the charge of $100 and we have found another wonderful company that we will be going with but coming from a bride to be - I could just imagine the service or "non service" I would have received on my wedding day if we hadn't checked on this. VERY unprofessional and after seeing other reviews on here I wouldn't be shocked if they never call nor if they wouldn't have shown on my wedding day. this company will fuck you over......worst service ever!!!!!!!!!!!! dont ever use this company!!!!!! they will steal your money!!!!!! they will drive you out in the middle of no where and charge your credit card even if it is their fault for driving that far out! we went an hour out of our way for one winery and was told they wouldnt charge the credit card for the extra hours if we wrote good yelp reviews! they were holding the money until they saw the good yelp reviews...which we werent going to write until i received the money back in the first place....bottom line...it was their fault for driving the extra hour to the next winery, i never asked to go over time or to go that far out! this has been a nightmare for the past 4 months to get my money back. i am going to fight this company for stealing my money!!!!!!!! beware to not deal with this company through travelzoo. i am an honest paying customer and have never written bad reviews until now. read more
