The Club store that I experienced on my recent visit to Carmel was absolutely amazing, both in product and service. If you're looking to buy inexpensive clothing, this is not the place, nor do they make such claims. This creative, well made clothing is, in my opinion, quite fairly priced. Certainly a large selection of Robert Graham, a line that is not for everybody. But they have a wide variety of different lines, at different prices that are current, hip and great fitting. Otherwise, if IZOD is your preference, go elsewhere. The staff is top notch, and that's coming from a fellow retailer. They are friendly, extremely knowledgeable about their product lines and highly professional. Of course they want to make the sale. Isn't that what they are there for? But they certainly were not pushy or obnoxious about it and they were genuine and quite honest about their assessments. I actually was looking for an overcoat and found one elsewhere that was similar but less expensive. In the end, I went back to these fine folks at The Club to purchase their coat, just because they were such great people and such a pleasure to do business with. If you are male, visiting Carmel and have great taste in clothes, The Club should be your first stop. Was not sure if I liked the small fit of the jacket so I ordered a medium and had it sent home so I can try. Easy returns via mail with no charge. The best thing about the Carmel store is the manager, Jessica! She is uber helpful and so sweet. She knows her clothing line also. That is why she is the manager :). The shops have started to reopen after months of quarantine. When I stepped into Bhody, I saw people had their faces covered with masks, and items were neatly displayed in the store. The Bhody manager and other associates work extra hard to provide a safe and comfortable environment for customers. We are strangers, yet I felt very welcomed and safe during my stay. Our respectful social distance didn't prevent our warm engaging conversation. The staff shared so many interesting things with me. I quickly glanced around the store and immediately noticed a white shirt I couldn't resist to have for this summer. I love it so much and I knew I will get it for myself. I kindly requested the staff to make sure the shirt is safe for me to try on. They are so kind and professional, they told me that every day they use high technology to scan, clean and iron each single item in their store. I tried the shirt and it's such a classic fit. I love the elegant and simple design. The fabric is soft and organic. This white shirt I will cherish forever, and remember that it made me smile in such an unusual year of 2020. And, the shopowner is LOVELY to talk to and was able to recommend other shops in Carmel's downtown that might pique my interest. She said that if people express favorite brands or styles, she tries to reach back out when she gets new items in stock. Amazing.
