They also have a wonderful Italian market with aisles full of specialty foods, plus the cutest kitchen knick-knacks and gifts -- perfect for the foodies in your life. The food is fresh and delicious, whether you enjoy it there or pick something up from the fridge to take home. When the weather is nice, it's lovely to sit outside under the olive trees, and during the summer there are plenty of comfortable indoor tables. It's the perfect little getaway for a couple of hours if you're in the area. The 40-minute olive oil education experience was so enriching and absolutely worth it. Just a quick note - summer is much quieter, but be prepared-- it gets really busy in the winter!

As I looked around, I couldn't help but think that if I lived there, I'd probably be stopping in daily. The combination of a bakery and coffee house makes it the perfect neighborhood spot. Although I skipped the coffee this visit--it was mid-afternoon on a Sunday, and I wasn't looking for a caffeine boost--I'll definitely be back to give it a try. For this visit, we focused on the baked goods and sampled four items: the chocolate croissant doughnut, maple croissant doughnut, vanilla doughnut, and a red velvwtcupcake. Every single one was delicious. The croissant doughnuts were wonderfully flaky with just the right amount of sweetness, the vanilla doughnut was soft and flavorful, and the red velvet cupcake was rich and satisfying. It's rare to find a bakery where every item you try is a winner, but this one delivered across the board. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, a sweet treat, or both, this charming bakery is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

Perhaps dining in is a better experience, I can't remember if they warm up the pastry but we took our maple, cheesecake croissant, and cinnamon roll to go. It tasted a day old. The croissant/ bread didn't taste fresh, almost stale. I opted to warm it up a bit, it was a bit better but then it just started feeling too sweet so I wasn't interested anymore. the cinnamon roll breading lacked flavor, but the cream on top was good. But again the bread dough just felt stale. It was a Sunday in the AM that we went. Not busy at all. Since it's a part of an apartment, parking is a little awkward and can feel tight. You could easily not notice the place and mistake it for being closed. It's right off of the round about. (the wind had blew over the open sign and the open sign wasn't lit) Service is okay, nice enough. Not really warm. Seating is ample and is cozy to sit and read or catch up with a friend.

I will also say they stay incredibly fresh l, I just finished our last one 9 days after the party and it was almost as soft as the day we picked them up. Even my boyfriend who is not a big sweets guy could not stop eating them! Also, The way she handcrafts this cookies is incredible. Her designs captured the theme of our birthday party beautifully, and they added to the decor. I had not one compliant with any of the designs she came up with. Finally, her customer service is wonderful. She accidentally messed up the names on some of our cookies, but I didn't notice until we were already at the party - before I even had a chance to ask her about it, she issued me a partial refund and apologized profusely. Luckily I had plenty of others as well, so it was not a big deal. I will use this small business for every event I need custom cookies, and would recommend to everyone. I truly do not think you could find anyone better!

Indoor and so much outdoor dining spaces creating your own private convivial spot with your group. We did the olive 101 tour, which was real interesting. Tour covered the history growing, harvesting and pressing olives into extra virgin olive oil. This place is the only olive mill in Arizona - go figure! Tour included how to taste and sample olive oil. You can sample all the olives, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pickled veggies and check out many cool gifts in the store. One lady was at counter when my beeper went off. I came up & she was checking someone out, then gave another person their order before me. I could see my food just sitting there (no heat lamp) Not good. When I tasted my eggs they were cold & bland. The woman who gave me my food talked up the jam but it was really tart & we didn't like it. In addition, I paid $6 for coffee. I went up for a refill & there was only decaf. The bartenders said they were brewing more but kinda blew me off. They were way more concerned with the alcohol buying/tipping customers. After 10+ mins I went back up to just wait. After all the bar customers left, a bartender finally acknowledged me & she took my cup & filled it up behind the bar. Supposedly, they'll have a dedicated coffee area ready at the end of August. But, at this point I feel that you shouldn't go to the Olive Mill for hot food, especially at breakfast. They're soo popular that they've stopped caring about flavor. Sad really. Olives & salads your best bet. Nice live music was outside but it was so hot our group decided to go inside.
