Shortly after the power went out, I arrived without an appointment, and they kindly offered to still do a gel pedicure for me. They handled the unexpected challenges of the power outage with grace, and it was exceptionally peaceful, except for another customer who chose to scream at them about wanting a discount on her service due to the power outage. (This customer had called for a price before coming in but had not asked for an appointment or indicated that she was coming in at the time the power was out.) My last visit to the salon was in July of 2023. I used to be a regular customer at Sofia Grace, but unfortunately, the quality of customer service went down after the ownership changed hands from Kim. It seemed like there was a hierarchy of customers, and even after being a regular for years, I was not afforded basic hospitality. The nail salon has also seen many long-term nail techs leave. I no longer felt welcomed there and decided to stop patronizing Sofia Grace. This is a cute quaint and early boutique nail salon I happen to stumble upon. The service is top notch and I like how my tech is very detail when polishing my toes nails. I've been getting builder gel nails other places and I'm glad I gave this place a try. The magnitude of their imagination to be creative has no limit. Unlike others who come and judge the employees right off the bat without even giving them a chance prior to their arrival. It's easy to get the wrong vibe for being a little salon in a plaza in the middle of a crazy city. But upon entering the boutique itself, you realize that the salon is a suite within itself.
