This place definitely needs some more love. I went there on a whim one time to celebrate a birthday after a recommendation from a friend. I love the flavor combination of the sandwiches. It seems like kind of a blend of Greek, Turkish, and Brazilian. The sandwiches have a perfect blend of crunchiness and creaminess. My personal favorite is the beef bowl. Glad I asked and also glad the owner offered a sample because it is SCRUMPTIOUS. The chicken was good in its own right but doesn't hold a candle to the "beef". The kebab as a unit was also quite good. Almost as good as the kind the German Turks serve you up in Berlin and head and shoulders above the kebab imposters you get in Vietnam. The red lentil soup was the pick of the day and it was perfectly spiced. I forgot how much I love red lentils. Haven't made them in a while. The icing on the cake was the service. I think I went in on a bad day. Mediocre food served up with a side of horrendous customer service!! I called in my order 20 mins before arriving and they mixed everything up... they staring making the order when I arrived (wasting a good 20 additional mins). When I asked the server about the mixup she shouted at me and told me how I'm confused... NOTHING was done to correct the situation. I left with the bland food and a bad taste in my mouth from being harassed. As other reviews have pointed out service here is hit or miss... Hate to leave a bad review for a small mom and pop but never is this kind of service ok. Hope management sees this review and makes improvements so that it a better experience for other. read more

A fantastic restaurant run by a lovely Azerbaijani couple. It has the flavor of a hole in the wall place and the appearance and cleanliness of a sophisticated modern fast sit-down restaurant. The menu was simple - chicken and beef, sandwich or plate, plus a handful of sides and specials. I had the chicken sandwich, which came on a middle Eastern flatbread, and a slice of baklava. The sandwich was impressively large without being too heavy or too big. The meats are cooked and carved from spits in plain customer view. The chicken was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. It was a fantastic meal for $6. If never had baklava before, but it was sweet and dense. I paid $8.61 for the meal, and it was well worth it. The one drawback was the speed of service. The couple was the only people working, and they take their time in preparing and service. They've been open for 6 months, so hopefully that will improve with time and reputation. However we all experienced was careless employees, long wait, and dry burnt mediocre food. It was a slow day. There was only 2 full tables and no one was ordering food at the counter. Sweet, it should be quick! Nope, we waited next to counter to order food but no one helped us. 3 employees just walked back and forth and minding their own business. Now there are 5 people waiting to order food. Still not ordering our food. Finally we spoke up and ask if we can order now. Yay, we can order our food now. During the whole process, it seemed like there was some communication problem. We asked for rice but they gave us fries. One employee asked, what kind meat do we want. We replied, one chicken & one beef. Just when he started to cut chicken again for our second order, we immediately stopped and reminded him our order. He was not happy at all after that. As his revenge, he cut off all the burnt part of meat. Where was our ordering paper? Can't they just read our orders from the ordering paper instead of pass the word the around? Our orders definitely were definitely lost in the process of passing the words. The whole process took about 45 minutes. Finally we got our food. The beef was burnt, the chicken was dry, and everything else tasted mediocre. Since we were starving, we ate everything but the meat. In the end, we were still hungry and unsatisfied. I ate here 5 days straight last week. I highly recommend the full combo plate with rice and half chicken half beef to get the full experience. You can make your own mini wrap with everything they give you. The white sauce is for salad. The red sauce is used for meat dip, though I don't feel like it's needed. The green sauce is an alternative for the salad. If you're looking to make a wrap use the veggies, white sauce and choice of meat. Delicious... Doner is one of the best street foods in Europe and eating a good doner kebab takes me back to walking the streets in Germany. This is a really new business and you can tell that they are still figuring things out. The staff is really nice though and happy to talk to you about the menu. The food is quite good, but be warned the wait time is suuuuper long. We tried to come back a second time for lunch, stood in line (2 people ahead of us) for ten minutes and then they ran out of meat and started cooking more, but it was going to be another ten minute wait, so we ended up having to leave without food because we were late. I have tried the chicken doner and the beef doner. The beef had a really good flavor at first, but it was extremely salty after a few bites. I think I ended up prefering the chicken in the end. The pita bread they use was fresh and soft and you have the chose of a lot of fresh veggies to put on your doner. I would like to come back in a few weeks when they have things running a little more smoothly, but the food is good! read more

This place has two great things going for it: cleanliness (high up on my list of importance - also noted in Jiro Dreams of Sushi :) ), and a super nice staff that is eager to make sure your meal is great. I tried two version of the Doner Kebab chicken sandwich: on pita and in a wrap. I definitely preferred the wrap as the pita was dry and overpowered the rest of the sandwhich. The wrap was a much better balance. The combo of chicken, thick yogurt, lettuce, tomato and sauce is a flavorful combo. On my next visit I'd like to try the full-size meal which comes unconstructed. (yeah...the wrap isn't really done in Europe so it kills me when I see the Americanized version touted as authentic here). The bread here...the thicker type of pita (for lack of a better description) is spot on. The actual döner was good, although a bit dry. Granted, the meat (beef) was at the very end of the roll and someone has to eat it. Not much flavor left. Also, it could have used more sauce. The staff is super friendly and the prices are okay.
