There's a classic milk soft serve and another flavor which they can twist together with the classic milk. They seem to feature new flavors every month or so. I think I had seen from their Instagram page that they had an Ube soft serve back in April. Right now we're in early June and the flavor that we got for our twist was a cookie butter soft serve. Not sure how much longer they will have the cookie butter flavor as I had thought that it was supposed to be just for the month of May. So...I guess they don't always change the flavor right at the beginning of each month. They do change the flavors every so often though. I ordered the Green Forest which is supposed to have matcha powder, sweet red beans and condensed milk. They had run out of red beans when I went so they let met choose a different topping to replace the red beans. That actually suited me better anyways as I'm not a big fan of red beans. I chose the Green Forest for the matcha flavor in it, not the red bean! I ended up choose toasted coconut as a replacemenet for the red beans. Yum yum yum! My daughter chose the Brown Sugar Pearls option which came with brown sugar drizzle, and soft, chewy tapioca pearls. Hubby opted for the Mudslide which came with Tim Tam crumbs and chocolate syrup. A decently busy but calm atmosphere for a weekday night! The staff was nice and was quick with our orders. I ordered the small size of the Original Peak with cereal flakes ($5.75) and chose the organic milk base. It was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, a perfect size, felt creamy and light, and contrasted nicely with the crunchy cereal. It hit the spot after dinner. The organic milk ice cream is one of my Vancouver favourites! They always have one to two seasonal flavours available and their regular staples. I really enjoyed the Honeycomb peaks and paired it with a black Americano. The portion is enough for two people, but one person can finish it. They each ordered the honeycomb peak cone large and I got the blue mountain in a cup small. My blue mountain ice cream was delicious. The blueberry was freshly made at the store. You can tell that it is not the instant stuff. It is made with real blueberries and it was super delicious. B's parent loved the honeycomb peak. They said that the honeycomb was delicious and when you get to the bottom of the cone, it gets better. The other flavors that I have tried are green forest and mudslides. Both don't disappoint. Like many establishments, they have greatly restricted their seating capacity...think there were only 2 tables with total seating for 5 persons. The COVID protective screens were up and I felt comfortable entering the establishment. Opted for the Blackcomb...how can one go wrong with expresso and ice cream. I'm an ice cream fanatic and have been consistently one since the age of 6 years old, so I'd say it's the thing I'm most experienced in. Gastown tastes like tiramisu, and it is absolutely divine. They had a wonderful promotion for Frontline workers and I also won a giveaway on instagram for a free ice cream so it was the perfect time to visit. We ordered their gastown with tiramisu toppings including espresso, chocolate dust, mascarpone and a ladyfinger. I actually enjoyed this one a lot but could only have a few bites because of my sensitivity to caffeine. It was sweet and creamy but not overly so and it actually tasted like tiramisu! We also tried their seasonal twist of strawberry and milk with strawberry topping, cereal flakes and chocolate sauce. Again, the ice cream itself is very smooth and even thought the strawberry twist wasn't very strawberry, it had a nice tang without being too sweet. I wish the had more cereal flakes. We enjoyed the honeycomb twist flavour that rich creamy ice cream. Topped with a piece of local honeycomb. The place looks much more spacious and brighter than the one in Gastown. I tried the original ice cream which was very meh. It was creamy but quite bland. It was not sweet at all, probably great for those who always liked to ask for everything to be "less sweet". But when I am having a dessert and treat, I do want it to be sweet, and ice cream falls into a sweet treat category. I guess it will be nicer if you order it with toppings and flavors rather than just plain with cereal. The cereal was hard. At $4.50 for a small (it looked tiny), it was definitely not worth it. Decided to go visit Soft Peaks for the first time after seeing all of their chocolate vanilla twist soft serve. When I arrived I waited in line behind 2 people which took them about 10 minutes. When I got to the front I ordered a small original peaks twist (chocolate and vanilla). I was told they're out of chocolate. I asked if they'd be getting it back and their response was that they're currently out of it at the present moment.
