More of a fusion Asian place than sushi specialty restaurants. They offer decent meal and perhaps one of the best Asian restaurants in San Juan . Szechuan phoenix is a great option if. It trying sushi

Great service staff. It was the only Asian restaurant in the area that was open at the time. The seafood is seasoned perfectly however the Szechuan stir fry is quite salty and not spicy at all. Still would recommend coming if craving for Chinese food in the area. Unfortunately the sushi selections weren't available at night

    1. The sushi and sashimi are really good, super fresh and delicate. 2. The Chinese food is good and authentic, does not like those fake ones which are super sweet.

My parents had eaten here before and said it was really good, so we were excited to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere, with a steady stream of customers dining in and picking up takeout orders. Even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently. Even for a large order, the wait was only about 30 minutes. They have a separate pickup area for to-go orders, which made the process organized and easy despite how busy they were. We ordered the beef fried rice, house fried rice, churrasco steak, house lo mein, sesame beef, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings, fried pork, pork ramen, and three sushi rolls. The kids in our family chose the Philly Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and they really enjoyed them. I had originally planned to order a different sushi roll from the menu, but it wasn't available that day. It wasn't a big deal, though, because the rolls we did get were fresh and delicious. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The churrasco steak was my personal favorite--the meat was incredibly tender and already well seasoned on its own. My husband wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce, but he agreed the steak itself was excellent. We also really enjoyed the fried rice, and the portions were generous. They were also generous with the condiments and included a variety of sauces with our order, which we appreciated. The only thing we missed was chili oil, since it's a condiment we usually expect to have available at Chinese restaurants. If you're staying nearby or looking for a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Tayzan is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd--it seems to be popular for a reason!

Service: can be quite slow because they have too many tables compared to employees working. The servers also will get confused and bring the wrong order so be prepared to send food back. The food was also delivered all at once. We ordered soup, appetizer, and main. They should have staggered it to keep the dishes hot. Food: ordered the veggie soup. It was $10 for a small portion but the soup was very tasty. The veggies were crisp. It was served tepid so I think it sat on the counter. We ordered veggie spring rolls, they were crunchy, pipping hot, and full of veggies very good. The dipping sauce complimented well. Now the Singapore noodles were beef, chicken, shrimp, and egg. It had quite a lot of shrimp. The beef and chicken were inedible. The velvetize of the beef made it rubbery and the they don't have good knife skills because the beef was a big chunk and it was undercooked in some spots and the texture was just again inedible. The chicken also had wrong texture from being velvetized. Very greasy sturdy noodles. The appetizers and soup are delicious, bit overpriced. While the Singapore noodles were generous portion- can split between 2 people, we did not eat the entire dish due to the textures and overly greasy.

We tried the pan fried veggie dumplings, scallion pancake, hongkong noodles, imperial ginger tofu, black bean chicken, ube pudding and donut with condensed milk. Also 4 drinks - ranging from floral soju based, tropical gin based to fruity bourbon ones. Everything tasted alright - but don't go here expecting authentic flavors - just get ur trip fix ins for asian inspired food. Also I'd skip the imperial ginger and anything that has sweet spicy description as those dishes only lean toward sweet sugary sauce flavors. Service is good but they took really long to come out with the desserts and then the check.

I admittedly had low expectations for Chinese food in PR, but the lo mein with chicken was delicious! They also had a few vegan options, like the imperial ginger w tofu (essentially sweet & sour tofu) that comes with a side of rice. My lo mein did not come with a side of rice but the portion size could be split among two people, and you can add a side of rice for a small up charge. The vibe is a black & red Asian decor, with a rap around bar and a few restaurant tables. There is also a walk-up boba bar attached that's available on the dining menu.

The ambiance here is high end and stunning, situated right on the water near the incredible pool. I kicked things off with a miso margarita which was everything I wanted it to be. I had the scallop crudo which was absolute perfection -- fresh and perfectly balanced. I had the Negi-Toro and San Francisco rolls as my mains, which were so unique, rich and fatty the way I like my sushi. We each had a mochi ice cream for dessert - I had the black sesame which was outstanding. Service here was also top notch, attentive and high end. Pro tip - If you're coming from nearby, take an uber vs driving. There's a mandatory valet ($25 validated, $40 non validated).

Soup was mid, a little salty for my taste. Dan dan noodles were delicious, and appreciate the accommodation to swap beef and pork for chicken. Green chicken curry was a miss for both of us, it was very creamy and lacked flavor. We were given these tiny sour lemon treats at the end which we loved. Overall, would definitely come back and try some other dishes if we stay here again.
