I LOVE this place!! If you are in the Knoxville area, this is a must-try. Been going here for almost a year now and I have enioyed it everytime. Staff are very nice and respectful; I have never been harassed about buying extra things, unlike some other places. I recommend Lilly, she is a sweetheart and very accommodating. Poor cleanliness, did not trim or file my actual nails at all. No cuticle trim or care, no hydrating oils or anything that is good for your nails or skin. He used a buffer and file that had been so overused it literally peeled away in front of me. Absolutely awful nail tech. He was rude and kept pulling my hand forward and pushing it away roughly. I asked for the design on the left, matte coffin style black nails, a simple design with photo reference. I sat there over an hour to get some bubbly nasty nails and he dipped my fingers directly into the powder solution instead of wetting a brush and applying it correctly. Had a $48 pedicure. Heels still rough, toe nails cut unevenly, cuticles not done well, had to file off the "splinters" when I got home. I was completely unsatisfied with the massage. He spent most of the time rubbing my calves up and down, and when I asked him twice to do my feet all he did was rub them up and down for a minute and then go back to my calves. I need a new nail salon that respects customers and can do IBD/ hard gel (not acrylics or powder dip). Ive been going to SoHo nail in Turkey Creek and am fed up! Incident 1: I called and made an appt. I arrived at my time and was told I didnt call. I showed them my call log. I was told that whoever answered my call probably didnt understand. And the tech who does hard gel was booked all day. Incident 2: made an appointment with my tech for fill in. When I arrived, I Was told he didnt come in and I was put with a different tech. He did ok. I went back 2 weeks later and the SAME service was $20 more. When I asked why, I was because the tech who did my fill wasnt suppossed to do it because he didnt know how. Incident 3: made an appointment. I didnt see my tech. The salon was empty. I waited in the chair for 15 min and was told he wad eating. I waited another 10 min before asking again. I was told he was still eating. I said "well he has has appt at 1:30" I was dismissed. The tech finally showed 35 min late. IM DONE! Avoid SoHo Nails! read more

Good place for a pedicure without an appointment. Place is very clean, fully staffed, lots of room. Tons of colors to choose from. People are nice enough. As with most places be prepared for them to try and get you to upgrade your service.. that drives me crazy... My pedicure was really good and through. Got the Refresher pedicure today. The woman cut the tip of my toe, making it bleed, and did an awful job cutting my big toe nail, making it completely slanted and uneven. The toe nail polish was atrocious and worse than I could have done myself - clumpy, inconsistent coverage, and paint all over my skin. I asked them to please redo because it looked so bad. The second time was slightly better but still with paint on my skin and not what I would expect from a professional nail salon that charges me $40. They didn't comp me and barely apologized. I wish I'd thought to take a pic of the first paint job but I'm attaching pics of the second job with paint on my skin and poor cleanup of my toes. I highly recommend avoiding this place. read more

When the front desk guy answered, he couldn't tell me anything about their services LOL. "I don't know because I only work the front desk" - direct quote. He told me to come in around 2pm if I wanted a pedicure. Then when I asked him for a price list, he told me they were on the menu, BUT couldn't give me their website to read at the menu. What?! He literally told me to google it hahaha. I give him the benefit of the doubt and decide to google their website... SURPRISE! Under "services" the webpage cannot be found. Quality- LACK OF. My friend and I sat there with no water in the footbath for approximately 15 minutes before getting someone to take us serious and come check on us. When the girl finally got started on my pedicure, she was not paying attention while she was scrubbing the side of my foot ( where she should have never be scrubbing to begin with). She scrubbed all the way up to my ankle. She literally took the skin off of the side of my foot! I had to ask for a Bandaid to keep the salt scrub out of the open wound. My big toes were clipped unevenly and I had to straighten them when I got home. A different girl did my manicure and did not push the cuticles back first but at least she didn't injure me. The place was very understaffed that day but that was no reason for the type of service that was provided. Half of my nails had chipped/cracked within two days and all were broken. Made an appointment to have them fixed and when I arrived for the appointment; they never scheduled it and could not see me until two days later. By the time I had them fixed, I required a new set because two nails had fallen off completely and the rest were too badly chipped and cracked, though then made me pay full price to have them fixed. I have been twice now - first for pedi and then for manicure. The end results on the polish look fine, however, I am suffering pain in both my foot and my hands. The pedicure was ok aside from my little toe constantly hurting now... I think the nail was clipped too low. My manicure was absolutely horrible... the technician hit the edge of my cuticle with his little sander, so it started bleeding. He kept telling me to relax and pulling on my arm, but it was hard to relax when he was hurting me! Three other fingers hurt as well from removing way too much cuticle. I will never return to this place. Horrible. I'm hoping the pain resides soon and everything heals. You couldn't pay me to go through that again!! read more

I had a 2:00 appointment for a pedicure and my daughters had dip nail Appointments. They told us 30 minute wait when we arrived at 1:55 for a 2:00 appointment. At 2:30 I asked what our wait time was and they said 10 minutes. At 3:15, when we were still waiting- we decided to leave. No one ever apologized or gave any attention, even though, we waited patiently for over 1 hour. I am okay with a 30 minute wait but that was ridiculous! All of the walk-in people were quoted 30 minutes. Their website says "make an appointment for no wait." That is a lie! I will NOT go back! read more

Don't even think they deserve a 1 star but it's as low as it would allow me to offer! The salon should be inspected by the state and be made to follow guidelines for the health of the community!! The chairs, tables and tools are filthy. They don't even bother to wipe the nastiness from the tables after each person let alone disinfect it!!! Nail files used on person after person even after filing the skin and causing bleeding! You never see tools being cleaned. They just throw them back in the drawer to be reused...AND the last time I was there, they reused the disposable pedicure shoes by taking them apart and turning the sole over. (I noticed the intentions from where someone had walked in them! ) This is why they want you to leave them there in a basket they placed in the center of the salon. As for the service, it has gone downhill over the last few years. They don't listen, rush as fast as possible and constantly push gel on you. I don't like gel nails nor do I like gel polish, and it isn't necessary for acrylics, but they try to condemn you for wanting regular polish on acrylics. I try to use the time getting my nails done as somewhat relaxing but they make it a misery by hounding you over the gel. It's beyond frustrating because they mention it all through the service. The last fill in I had was bumpy and not at all smooth. I mentioned it and she pretended not to understand so I pointed and she still ignored me. They don't polish up to the cuticle so within a day, it looks a week old. I can't count the times I've left there with uneven nails... and the pedicures, even worse! They do a horrible job on pedis. Dried cuticles showing around the nails, rough dry skin on feet and absolutely no massage whatsoever! A total waste of time and money! If this wasn't bad enough, I looked at my receipt when I got in the car and realized they tacked on an additional $2-3 for using a credit card!!! This isn't MY charge to pay, it's theirs! It was the last straw for me. I've given so many chances for them to redeem themselves, but apparently it just isn't going to happen. First, I don't want a blood born disease, infection or fungus, secondly they over charge and do a horrible job and lastly, it's not up to the customer to pay for using a credit card. SMH. I'm done with this place! Places like this do what they can get by with, so the state needs to step in and slap some fines on them before they cause some serious health problems. read more

I used to love Soho and I went often. They've revamped their salon, it's pretty. Unfortunately they are not managing their time correctly, and not respecting their clientele's. I waited for almost 40 min for someone to begin my pedicure. By that time I had my feet out of the water because it was cold. My toe nails look like I did them as a teenager, the nail tech was nice enough I suppose but somehow didn't understand I asked for a Matte finish. When I went to get my pedicure done, she had three other workers come to see the design I wanted. They were not friendly about it and I told them it was fine, to just do the solid color. They refused and another tech sat down and attempted. While she was sweet to try, the big scene they made and all the attention drawn, was not relaxing and I wish they would have accepted me asking them to just do one solid color. Arriving at 2 pm and not leaving until 5:20 for a mani pedi is ridiculous. I didn't get artificial nails, dip powder, or acrylics. Only Gel nails on my short real nails. This isn't my first experience where I left less than satisfied. I hope they get it together soon. read more

The people in this location here are great! I was able to make an appointment due to the busy holiday season and they were able to accommodate me within an hour and a half. Only waited for total of about five minutes and the staff was very generous to my kids and I. My daughters were a ecstatic from all the choices of nail polish they had to pick from, and they definitely cater to men women and children. The seats for pedicures are very high end and have a massage feature on them. the nail techs definitely try to provide the best service in asking exactly what you want before getting started. I made my appointment online and for my 10 yr old granddaughter for $20 along with my appointment for dip nails. First of all the lady who did my nails didn't even fix the nail I broke and when I realized she didn't plan to, it was too late. I couldn't understand her at all and she couldn't me. The man who took my granddaughter to do her nails told her to pick a color and she did. I hardly ever get my nails done because it's outside of my budget, but I had been here once with a gift card a year ago and had a decent experience but the nail painting had some ridges/bumps and didn't look too professional. Went back with a friend that was treating me for my birthday and it was horrible. One man in particular ruined the whole experience. He would not stop pressuring us to choose the more expensive options and wouldn't take no for an answer.
