I earned a five dollar off coupon to use on any service at SOI with the Fivestar Rewards Program so, that's why, I came here. The Cleansing Facial is regular $35. Your face will be cleaned and your black heads will be extracted. It will leave your skin smooth and glowing for days! The Esthetician was Amazing! She did my facial two years ago and I still remember! Her name is Shan. It was the WAY she massaged my face. I felt like, the massage was defining my face. Her grip was good with several techniques like, massaging with the knuckles and firmly massaging around my mouth and neck. I was able to let go and enjoy. The massage was so good! I wanna learn how to massage like that! A steamer was used on my face so, that all the impurities would easily be removed. Then a metal tool was used to extract the blackheads on my nose. A thick mask was placed on my face for ten minutes. My face was tingling. That means my face is thoroughly being cleaned. Warm towels were used to wipe off the mask on my face which was so pleasant. When it was all over, I felt happy and proud! Like, I wanna tell all my friends and family about my Facial! As, I was paying for my service, the lady at the counter surprisingly looked up and said, "I can tell already!" My skin was so smooth and soft. In fact, days later my skin was glowing. The next day, I was on a video call and I received another compliment!? My acne scars were minimal and my acne spots were smaller. I have been going to SOI for the past three years and sometimes they do a good job and sometimes they don't. I went yesterday with a girl that has threaded my eyebrows in the past and done a good job, before I sat down I told her I had let my eyebrows grow and to leave them as thick as she could...when she showed me the mirror the first thing I said was "they're so thin!". Instead of apologizing (which wasn't really going to fix anything) she tried to explain herself but I wasn't in the mood to hear some excuse. It's not like she was going to glue my hair back on and fix them. I tried coloring them in but even that won't fix them, that's when I noticed they're crooked too! As someone who has been coming here for almost 9 years, I hate that I even have to do this. This place has gone down hill soooo bad! The past two years I've noticed a huge change in the capabilities of the women who thread here. While in the past it wasn't consistent good threaded brows no matter who you got, it became Russian roulette with how your brows will turn out! Today was my last straw! The woman literally took SCISSORS and trimmed my arch hairs with scissors, not the inner brow but THE ARCH! Now they're short stubby and completely f***ed going any which way because they were trimmed so short you can't even brush them! In addition to her trimming the hairs, she took chunks of random hairs from my arch as well! I've had good brows my entire life and never had an issue like this. Her response was that I never said I didn't want my brows trimmed and that she will brush it for me. Like who trims the arch with scissors?! In my 9 years going there, never once have they done the arch, only my inner brows. I will NEVER be back again solely because of this, I'm done thinking they'll get it together again. read more

I was very nervous at first, praying my eyebrows wouldn't be ruined lol but it went 100% better than I thought it would. A mask is required to go in, and you sign in on tablet at the front. To start my story off I was a regular at this establishment but this particular day the owner decided that she wanted to do my waxing for my face in my eyebrows. This was the worst mistake of my life because she burned me she also trimmed my eyebrows too low and when I displayed my irritation to the service the service she promised that she would fix it but when I returned of course she forgot everything. I desperately needed to get my eyebrows threaded and this was close to where I was running errands. Don't be put off by the not so glamorous outside of the strip mall. It definitely does not show how great their work is. You check in when you walk in and they get you into a seat ASAP. The check in doesn't ask why you are there so make sure you are clear about that. I had my eyebrows and upper lip done. They were quick and as painless as possible. My eyebrows look awesome and very full still. The shape was done amazingly without any instruction. My lip is hairless so that is awesome. Now the only thing weird was that the next day I had a weird break out under my eyebrows and above my lip. Not sure what it's from so I will give them the benefit of the doubt as it was only two little pimples. I will try them again and see if maybe I am allergic to the powder or aloe. read more

They do a great job of threading your brows and not leaving them over-plucked. hurts a bit more than waxing, but doesn't leave my skin super red, bumpy and irritated like waxing does. the price is right too. I wouldn't recommend getting waxed here simply because they double dip with the wax. That's a great way to spread infections from one person to the next. read more

She did show me the lashes as well as explain that they weren't the individual lashes that she uses. That's how I was made aware, as I'm not a lash tech. She ask me did I want to proceed, which I did. Of course I'm thinking you wouldn't charge me for another service I didn't receive. She even advised me that that wasn't the same glue she uses for individual lashes. She used the same glue she uses for tabs. So I'm not sure if you aren't clear on individuals but perhaps you should ask your lash tech. I paid $65 and the lashes begin falling off the next day. If you're not prepared for a service, please don't promote it. read more

I use medication that does not allow me to get any sort of facial waxing (at the risk of major skin damage), so I looked into threading as an alternative to the painful, time consuming, and inaccurate practice of doing my own plucking for hair removal. I was originally attracted to this salon because it's the main service upon which their business is built. I LOVE this place! You can book an appointment online or over the phone but I've never had a need to: there's rarely a wait for service because the treatment process is so quick. Their treatment areas are always clean and organized, and I've never had a bad experience here. The ladies performing the treatments are sometimes quite taciturn so if it's your first time to experience threading you'll probably want to do some research before-hand or ask for some explanation as to what the process entails. Now that I've been several times I don't need any explanation and am in and out in under 10 minutes for eyebrow and upper lip services. They do offer more areas, even up to a full facial threading. After my awesome first experience I joined their member club which gives a discount on any services: it's a great value and the best alternative to waxing that I've tried! This particular location is pretty far away from my home but I drive down there occasionally to visit my family. If my sister (who lives closer to this location) is on schedule to be threaded we usually go to this location together! I'll probably frequent another location when I go by myself just for convenience but the people here are great! read more

Came here to get my eyebrows threaded because the place where I usually get my eyebrows done in Arlington didn't have my lady working that day and I had to leave the next day to California. So I decided to give this place a shot since it was closer to my house and I needed my eyebrows done ASAP. When you first walk in you have to sign in and enter the service you will be getting. Prices were great. I got my eyebrows done and I got to say it hurt more than with my usual lady. My eyebrows were on the thicker side but they were okay I guess. I wasn't a fan of the pain because with my usual lady I don't feel no pain at all and she takes her time but this lady did it in half the time my lady does it and you could tell with the work she did. I was just thankful that she fully didn't mess up my eyebrows. I don't think I would come here again tho. I rather just go all the way to Arlington with my lady. I also got a henna tattoo. I originally told the lady that I wanted a large henna on my hand that cost $10. I guess she didn't understand me well and ended up giving me a $5 henna. I decided not to comment or tell her anything because I was just over it. The henna was not the best. The lines were all messed up and it was pretty messy. Maybe it would have came out better if she had taken her time but no she decided to rush. I'm still looking for a place that does great hennas. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I'm just thankful they didn't mess up my eyebrows. read more
